Locksmith 24/7 

A bunch of crooks. I was charged £850 to change a lock and the job done was so poor. Calling to get answers but none was valid and they kept hanging up. Don't trust this company, report to the police.

This company is clearly corrupt and stealing peoples money. I was away and my wife was on her own when our door lock broke. A locksmith visited the property and charged her £992 to change our lock. When questioned the locksmith said it was company prices! What a total scam, I need to report them to the police and trade standards. Stealing from vulnerable people is disgraceful and hopefully this company can be taken to task over their continual illegal activity.

Terrible service. Ruined my door. I don’t even think the guy know what he was doing. Only paid him to get him out of my house. Had M&E locksmith on his shirt booked via 24/7 tho.

Avoid at all cost my elderly neighbour called out a lock smith from their ad They only had to get in her house the key was inside no lock needed replacing but they did so her eyesight is poor she thought her invoice said £87
Her daughter looking at her credit card bill and her mothers paper invoice realised that her final cost was over £800 !!!! They are a completely fraudulent company luckily the bank has held back payment but they are getting away with robbery from vulnerable people how Google have allowed their listing is beyond me do not ask their help or believe their add

Lock/latch/bolt had dropped from inside.
Telephone quote given as £80.00 emergency call out fee and between £80.00 to £150.00 additional cost. Suspected that I had been overcharged paid £310.80 bearing in mind there was nothing to replace.

Indeed, like most of the other reviews on this platform, this company is clearly run by a gang of shysters. I presumably got a guy from the company to open my door, however they got a different company later in the day to change the damaged lock without informing me that I was dealing with an entirely different company. I believe that 24/7 has been dishonest with me in the circumstance, considering that the security of my home is compromised by their failure to disclose who was going to change the lock they contacted to change. Quite apart from their fees which are clearly excessive their dishonesty now leaves me feeling vulnerable.
* By the way, the numerous negative reviews this company has are consistent with the experience I have had dealing with 24/7. Those positive reviews appear to be dishonest and possibly posted on Trustpilot by friends and family of the owners of the company. The fact that the positive posts are few and far between outnumbered by far by negative posts speaks for itself.

I phoned a “ local area ” telephone number to an emergency locksmith and got a National Company whose name I couldn’t hear clearly. They sent a man to sort the locked door problem and it all went downhill from there. I ended up paying £650 for a new lock, gearbox and labour and now have a door that doesn’t open and close easily. The European “engineer” had no I.d., uniform, badge or van and worked with a few tools from his car.
My payment invoice was to “National Locksmith Ltd”.
I have now ordered a new UVPC replacement door for a total of £1100, fitted, from a genuine and recommended local company.

Unfortunately I didn’t check the reviews here before calling them… I got charged £70 for a quote that I only received it days after the visit by chasing them on the phone. And the quote itself was absurd, at least 2 times what others later quoted me.

I booked an appointment to have my door measurements taken. I need to change my door for a new one. They send me someone that never did a door fitting before. He couldn’t explain me the types of door, lockers and when asked to check what was happening to my door he said “it’s an old door”. He took some pictures and measurements and told me he never changed a door before.
I got charged 70 pounds and when I called to complain I had to wait 4 days for the manager to call me back. He said the employee did an investigation at my door and I explained he only touched the door to get measurements. I explained it was unfair to pay as I asked for a quote and many companies would do it for free. He tried to charge me the minimum of 1.500 pounds for a new door + service and refused to give me a refund. He never send me a quote by email with the types of doors as I requested. I had Everest coming to my house today an service was great. Quote was free and door+ fitting was 500 pounds cheaper. I also had a catalog to choose from. Avoid this company at all costs. They over charge you, manager takes ages to contact you and they will try to take your money every change they can. AVOID.

Avoid at all costs. Charged £803 for 30 minutes work and then refused to complete the job unless we paid another £500. Banhams did the whole job for us for £550, including their own emergency call ou, and they are expensive. An unbelievably horrible experience.

Turned up and tried to charge me £211 to change a key barrel that was faulty, it was a two minute job! Gave 10% discount for being a pensioner so bill came to £190, then told me the lock was only guaranteed for 6 months.
Do not use this rip off company.
Wish I had read these reviews before I called this cowboy outfit to my door.

Absolute scum of a company! Complete scammers who ripped my elderly neighbour off for £872 to change a lock. When I tried to call them they hung up on me. Eventually spoke to someone who said it wasn't them that came out!! They have then refused to answer my calls or hang up if I call from a different number. Will be reporting to police and trading standards. 🤬🤬🤬

DO NOT use this company! Complete scammer. Over charged and 1 year later our lock is faulty with no contact details available to claim on our life time warranty!!!!

A very dubious company they wanted to charge an absorbent cost to replace lock and mechanism when I challenged on this price then they dropped their price dramatically ,clearly this is because as no call out fee and their journey at their cost would have been wasted, but still the cost was well over what it should have been
They said it was discount offer , but in reality they were overcharging and hoping to get away with it , best to avoid this company

SCAMMERS!!!! They took advantage of my elderly disabled mother. Charged her £449 for lock, £149 labour for 30mins, £299 for gearbox (never even changed it), £99 to move 2 screws and £89 callout....total £1374 (Inc vat and extra keys!!!) All she needed was a new lock!!! Will be contacting Trading Standards as disgusting behaviour from obviously an immigrant who works out of his car!!!! DO NOT USE

Go locksmith 24 7 are an absolute rip off. Do not use! I'm currently in the process of taking legal action against them. My patio door lock had failed. Called them, they charged me £377! They told me that there's a 1 year guarantee on all parts. 7 months later, their lock has failed! I asked them to either repair or replace their failed lock. They're refusing. They say they're are not obliged to honour their own guarantee because their lock has been damaged by my cylinder lock, which is in perfect working order. I've recorded a video of their failed lock and my perfectly working cylinder lock. 'Go Locksmith 24/7'. Please do not use this company.

If I could give a minus I would . They prey on the vulnerable and charge what they like. I was stuck in my friends top floor flat with one entry door only and the lock become jammed. They charged £262 for drilling through the lock. 5mins work . They wanted £604 to replace the lock.
They quoted prices through a wooden solid door and after said we had agreed. Disgusting . I will be taking to the Trading Standards

Please avoid… they ripe people off… quoted me £49 labour cost then charged on top £59 and them extranomical lock charges which only cost £20 most. Please do no use it
