This company is a scam. Also operating as Bespoke Services Kastreal Ltd, KS group via square and SQ KS group. They prey on vulnerable people and charge astronomical prices. Was charged £1000 for an hours work. Realized too late and on my own

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

These lowlives quoted £59 and charged £167 for a 10 min shoddy job. The guy turned up with a rucksack, took out his Crow bar. The bailiff told me this is not a professional locksmith, he might damage the door, he should not be opening it like a burglar would do!!!!

Be very careful, this is not a genuine business but scammers posing as a professional locksmith.

The only reason these crooks got away with £167 of my hard earned cash is because I was super stressed about finally getting my flat back after one year of unpaid rent, and they knew this. Sickening.

Got quoted £49 plus the price of a new lock (no more than £30)…he was an hour late, I called the company a total of 7 times, they hung up on me TWICE. He quoted me £430, got it done by someone else for £95. Also noticed he had no equipment with him. BEWARE

Avoid !!! Absolute ripoff ! I got charged £813 to open my door and for a cheap door handle without discussing the price list. The guy was one hour late, he damaged my door while he was trying to open it and now my door won’t shut properly. Worse company I have ever used.

Ask for all the costs up front!! Including VAT.

I made a decision based on how much they said it would be, then they added VAT on top despite asking how much in total. Really couldn’t afford the extra money on top.

Man however was nice.

Posting here as they flagged it on the Kastreall Group trustpilot, clearly trying to hide something.

I used this company for a locksmith and they completely overcharged and were not upfront with their fees at all, I was presented with an extortionate invoice only after the work had been done. They drilled a hole in my door and replaced the lock when it wasn’t strictly necessary, I’d only locked myself out, no other tactics were presented. I was charged nearly £600 to be let into my house and replace a rim lock. Being on my own, late at night and in a vulnerable state I had no choice but to pay when there was a strange man in my house.

The Kastreall Group have taken absolutely no responsibility, blaming it on their contractors (Bespoke Services 2001, a very newly incorporated company, which isn’t surprising) despite the fact it was the KS group bank account I paid and it is their details on the receipt and a link to the Kastreall Group website on the receipt and on Squareup, clearly showing they have responsibility for this. They can’t claim they had no knowledge of this happening when I was paying them directly. When I told them this fact on Squareup they did not respond.

I was offered a tiny refund of £69.84 for ‘my troubles’ from Bespoke Services 2001, which I refused and asked to be refunded at least £400 as this would make the amount paid more in line with the Master Locksmiths Association guidelines for emergency call-outs. I am yet to receive a response yet. I am in touch with Squareup (who’s cash machine payment service the group used) to let them know this is how their service is being used. I am also contacting the Master Locksmiths Association as they advised these locksmith scams take place frequently and this sounds like one and have asked if they want me to flag details to the police. I will also be forced to get in touch with the police/local MP/news/citizens advice/trading standards and ask for a charge back from my bank if I am not refunded properly ASAP. I will continue to pursue this until I get my money back. Any evidence needed to substantiate these details for Trustpilot I can happily provide, in case this review is flagged by the owner.

In response to your post - Your subcontractor should have its own bank account as an apparently separate company under law, the fact it is using yours is just a way to get around liability and means you will have profited from an illegal activity. If the payment comes to you and it’s deemed criminal proceeds it should be returned by you. You are clearly the ones holding the sums and are in charge of paying your employees/so called contractors (which is actually how Uber also operates, it holds the money and pays its employees, you don’t go after the driver for a refund, you go after Uber, which would be the KSgroup in these circumstances, which is what I’m doing). Bespoke services should also not have charged VAT, they are not registered to do so, so again, this would seem to be criminal proceeds in your bank account which needs to be returned.

I have a quote from a MLA association emergency locksmith and they said it was £180 (inc VAT) for this work, and that is with replacing the lock, which was not necessary and instead done by a skilled, fully insured person unlike by you (details of the quote will be given to my bank and anyone else who requires it). The VAT did not come to £483, I have invoices proving this and it shouldn’t have been charged anyway. You are also not registered with the MLA I have checked with them.

The worst of the worst- Charged me £450 for opening the most basic door. The total time spent was around 4 minuts. The positive reviews are obviously fake and I am launching legal action against the company. Please do not get scammed as well and choose another provider.

I got charged 460 for a simple job! Unfortunately I had to pay for it as I didn’t know what to do… as I was in a vulnerable position. This company is a scam 😩

Quoted me £720 for a £150 job. Utter con artists. Should be locked up themselves, I doubt they'd even be able to sort the lock out to free themselves.

Beware! Do not use this company. Scammers! They have stolen £1500.00 from me and I have had to report to the police.

Quoted £55 to open front door barrel lock, turns up gets a pick out without a torsion bar, wiggles it about, then turns to me and say's got some bad news for you! With this told him he hadn't even tried picking the lock properly, that I have my owns picks indoors as I can pick locks myself! With this, he had a chat with his mate, came back and used a plastic card to get in, then tries to charge me £30 over the top plus VAT! So called the main office, they put the phone down on me! Just paid the £55, told them to sue me for the rest! They're lucky they didn't need to chase me for it! ... Con Artists! DO NOT USE!

Same as others. Quoted 59 plus vat to fit new lock I had bought. Locksmith tried to charge 220. Angry and aggressive until I stood my ground the dropped to £79 plus VAT. Bad job and needed someone else to come and resolve. Don't use.

Arrived within time stated, pleasant personality, opened the door removed faulty parts and replaced with new in approx.45mins. However the charges were as follows: call out £58, Door opening £120, Labour £50, 6pin cylinder £30, gearbox mechanism £210, (I looked up the cost of 6045lock-lh-85 as removed £34, and High security 6 pin cylinder lock £11) I believe £468 was excessive and should be described as a rip off

Great prompt service. Lock technician was out to us within 20 minutes. Affordable price considering it was after 9pm at night I expected to pay more. Guy was friendly and didn’t mind my curiosity. Definitely recommend these guys, even just for customer service. ALSO the name of the Company wasn't Trigger Logistics or MM.or any others mentioned here.

Absolutely do not use this company. They will rip you off. On the phone they said that the call out charge is £39 and to open the door (fitted with a Yale lock) would be £55. When the locksmith arrived he said that the charge will be £240. And we we want also to change the Yale lock it would be £372. AVOID. THEY RIP OFF everyone.

On Friday night at 7.10 my front door handle mechanism broke,msged one the live chat and had someone at my house in just over 1 hour,the guy who came was very pleasant and sorted our problem out,would definitely recommend to anyone.Thanks

I ordered an emergency door opening service from local Locksmith. We waited about 20 minutes for locksmith’s arrival. The opening itself took him only 15 minutes. David opened the lock with minimal damage, and the door itself remained completely intact. It cost a few pounds to repair the lock after opening; we went with his recommendations, as it was much cheaper than buying a new lock. This company inspires confidence. Thanks
