THIS WAS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!! I purchased 2 flights. Both were sold as unconfirmed flights without my knowledge. Later I received calls separately saying my first flight went from $222 to $448. I agreed to it since I was desperate. Then about 4 hours later I got a call about my returning flight saying my flight home was unconfirmed and to confirm it the price was going from $349 to $492. At this point I absolutely flipped out.
PEOPLE PLEASE READ THESE REVIEWS!!!!
They are selling unavailable flights at the first quoted price just to force you into paying nearly double. This should be ILLEGAL!!!

Mia and the person I initially booked my flight with both provided outstanding customer service. This was my first time using look by fare and because of the service provided I will use this company in the future.

I had to pay for baggage when I made the reservations. When I got to the gate I had to pay it again for two of us, That was true in both directions.
I really got cheated.

One star is more then they deserve!!!!Price on the website was one price and then I received a call that the price was more to stay with the flights I chose. This is a big scam! They show you one price get your credit card info then call you and change the price. Absolutely pathetic. I beg you not to use this site to save yourself a big hassle!!!

Booked a flight with them today. They called said they had to switch the flight and wanted even more money. They changed my card 3 time. I called Delta and reported them. The bank alerted me to possible fraud so they did not get a dime.

Booked through Lookbyfare using Cheapflights after cancelling a previous reservation with another provider on Cheapflights whom had doubled the ticket price when it came time complete the transaction. I checked these reviews prior to making the same mistake and lo and behold they did the same thing. Called right after the reservations were made and said the flight was overbooked (3 months in advance to Sacramento lol okay) and suggested a different destination. When I said I would just cancel the reservations they offered to keep me on the same flights for an additional $135. While it’s not a scam in the traditional sense, it is most definitely a bait and switch that just leaves a really bad taste in your mouth as a consumer. Had they offered the same fare initially I would have went with them and not felt like I just got hosed. Do better.

My booking was put on hold and I was asked to pay $200 more. Rechecking the listing, the amount listed was still the same. Could this be the bait and switch tactic? Very frustrating. Be careful when dealing with this agent.
