Used to be great and I invested in a paid package but recently just a nightmare! Creating a 'new video' doesn't seem possible, it's virtually impossible to open up a new window (as the camera functio... See more

Always Free My ###
Loom seems to have changed the terms of their "Always Fee" option by now limiting the "total all time" number of videos to 25. Previously a free user could delete videos from their server total to under 25, then record another video.
This can keep users perpetually in the free tier, but I wonder how many of us will now subscribe to a paid tier?
I WONT -- and the reason is that these terms were changed without notice, it seems. Further, the Company continues to describe the free tier as "Always Free" -- which is clearly misleading and untrue.
I will search for and use an alternative - even if I am required to subscribe to a paid account. Loom is dead to me.
I hope there is something better..
I hope there is something better... This app always has some errors!
Does't record audio
Does't record audio. Worst software I have ever used, it also randomly tries to connect to my phone to record audio.
NO SUPPORT IT DOESNT WORK
NO SUPPORT, IS IS NOT WORKING , TERRIBLE ,
videos always stuck uploading, it doesnt work never and ever,
I invest hours to createn these videos just to loom DESTROY THEM NEVER BUY
Definitely worth the monthly fee
Definitely worth the monthly fee - I save 2+ hours every week by using loom for async presentations, bug reports. It is buggy, though...
It’s atrocious
It’s atrocious! It lags constantly, there’s no support team that will respond to you, they never fix bugs/issues that have been apparent for years and to be honest it’s just a complete waste of your time trying to constantly re-record videos because it cuts off early or autocrops your video or you finally finish a recording bug free and then it doesn’t upload successfully. Worst application I’ve ever used.
$200M In Funds For A Buggy Product
It's amazing how a product that raised over $200M in funds managed to create such a buggy product...
1/3 times when using this something goes wrong to the point I'm not able to use it at all...
Avoid Loom at any cost.
Transformed my workflow
This has transformed my workflow as a remote manager/business owner. I love not having to meet in real-time and also having recordings of trainings/instructions I can reuse if necessary. Sometimes the program glitches but it's been rare.
Avoid using this if you don’t have PERFECT internet
Prepare to waste your life if you don’t have stable internet… Recording the same things 3-5 x times when the internet gets knocked even for a second (with no error messages or anything until right at the end when it doesn’t fully upload) will elevate your stress levels like crazy. I had to re-record 45 minute tutorials THREE TIMES before giving up and recording the screen through Quicktime instead.
Avoid using this if you don’t have PERFECT internet.
I absolutely agree
I absolutely agree! Loom is a game-changer when it comes to moving quickly and delivering customized explanations to customers.
"Loom was good and it meets the needs of this small business."
I utilized Loom from their site AND from a Chrome browser extension which made recording and sharing information with clients very simple. That they can view the videos without having to log in is also a plus - many don't want to create yet another account somewhere in order to just watch a video.
I've been a customer for over 3 years…
I've been a customer for over 3 years but the quality and pricing can no longer be justified. The desktop app is incredibly buggy and i'm only able to use it without issue probably 3/10 times.
Video got cropped automatically
I've made a 10min video, it got cut into 7min automatically. I've been a paid subscriber for a few months. What's point of using Loom if I have to re-record my videos again and again? I rather use Filmora to record, this is absolutely ridiculous.
This is not a one off thing either, this kinda things happen way too often, either video gets corrupted, or something else. Gonna unsubscribe real soon.
Insanely buggy and they are…
Insanely buggy and they are ridiculously slow responding to help requests.
If your business relies on recorded videos e.g., training business - avoid like the plague - you WILL lose clients.
Not that Loom cares…
it’s so bad
it’s so bad, it crashes every single day and nothing ever saves properly. wish there was an alternative that’s commonly used - never used such a dreadful software.
My favorite tools!
The best thing about this tool is its ease of use. Quick access, recording, and some editing features make the process fun. Videos can be easily shared with friends or colleagues.
they charge you after you cancel the service.
I subscribed to loom and I liked the idea but it wasn't a useful prodict for me or my business. I cancelled my subscription and 12 months later was billed £83 for a subscription I didn't ask for and dont use. it is impossible to navigate through their online options of their mater sales service and this is deliberate to wear you down and avoid having to deal with my complaint or refund my fees.
I run a youtube channel and need a good…
I run a youtube channel and need a good screen recorder this one crashes all the time, only let's you download half of a 5 min video due to errors, after you trim the video you get errors again and again. i ended my subscription today
