Advised me that the booking that I had made months prior could not be honoured due to a problem with their systems. Offered a lower grade room and a $200 credit for future bookings with luxury escapes. Also had been given the option of cancelling ,which was difficult given the timing . Advised me of all of this less than a week before I left on my trip and would mean I would not be contactable for over a week ( jungle hike in PNG). Referred to a previous email but did not give a date and although I checked spam etc could find no evidence of any emails apart from the original confirmations and the many many many promotional emails that luxury escapes began sending me on a daily basis as soon as I made the booking. I told them that I was not interested in a credit with their company for future stays given they couldn’t manage a simple booking that was also my first experience with the group. Called multiple times and asked for someone to return my calls but I got nowhere. I ended up running out of time and cancelled the booking. Was especially disappointing as I had booked the hotel for a retreat after we had completed the hike. Ended up having to scramble to book another place. Based on my experience with this group I would not recommend using them

Beware - Luxury Escapes changes policies without letting you know
I've been loyal to LE for a few years now booking away trips even into months ahead. Without any notice - and remember as a regular use I had already looked at all the T&Cs - they now only give you a cancellation (after 7 days of your booking) as a credit in LE. But beware - they keep your money if you don't book up within 12 months.
I just had a cancellation as my beautiful 11 year old dog died unexpectadly and his brother same age is grieving as we are. Even then LE have no heart and no cash refund. I am one of their Premium Societe members and pay for it but have now cancelled.
So my advice, shop around before you buy a trip - do to Agoda, Trip.com and Booking.com and see where the best deals are. But don't book with LE too far ahead unless you know for certain you'll be going - they keep your money.

Initially I had a lot of complaints due to a number of errors, delays and miscommunications by your sales and support staff -- HOWEVER once Jennifer C took responsibility for my complaints and assured me that she would follow through on everything that I was unhappy about, I felt both vindicated and confident that my complaints would be resolved... which they were 100% !!! On the 4th June I requested a Booking (#105903986) name change from my name to another member of our family. Such a request with other institutions have filled me with dread and taken half a day - or more - to achieve. Fortunately I struck Bec G and the request was completed in 3minutes.It is hard to improve on "excellent".
At Luxury Escapes the systems and customer service are beyond good!

Johnathan O, was very helpful when I asked if possible to change the dates on my Luxury Escape getaway to Canberra even though we were passed the expiry date. We requested the change at short notice due to my Mother inlaw being hospitalised, & not in a good way. Johnathan was very compassionate, followed through on request and kept me informed along the process - it was a bit tricky as we also had paid for a restaurant experience as well.
