I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the Lyca Mobile support representative who assisted me today. I had an issue with activating my new Holland Bundle M, and the agent quickly identified the problem, explained everything clearly, and offered a helpful solution.
I especially appreciate that they immediately provided an option to manually activate the new plan by removing the old one. This really helped me continue using the service without any interruption.
Excellent service, professional communication, and great attention to the customer’s needs. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

This is a shameless scam. I bought a pre paid sim for 20 euros to use internet when visiting the Netherlands and paid with my credit card. They have been charging my card for months and I can't make it stop. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!
****UPDATE****
Lyca Mobile contacted me to ask for my phone number. This was two weeks ago, and they just deducted another payment from my credit card.
My bank says they can't do anything, so I had to cancel my credit card.
I will be going to the police next time I'm in The Netherlands, and I'm recommending everyone to do the same. This scam has to stop.

During the time I lived in the Netherlands I decided to subscribe a 1-month eSim for around 13€ from Lyca Mobile since I thought they were an honest company. After that 1-month subscription I received an invoice of double the value I owed, because of that I decided to fill a help survey on their website (which was never responded to). On the following weeks I received even more emails saying that I owed around 26€ and after 1 month they decided to say I owed around 39€ (I can't understand how a 1-month subscription is billed 3 times in the space of 2 months). During long periods of time I kept filling help surveys on their website that, guess what, never received a message. After even more time (I don't even live in the netherlands anymore and still have this problem) they decided to send my "bill" to cannock, a company that enforces bills and threatens you. I tried changing emails and resolving the situation with this company that, guess what again, either doesn't respond or doesn't help at all. I didn't want to go through this route at all but it seems like the only way to finish this case...

Never use Lyca Mobile. I bought two 10 euro e-Sims in Netherlands...ended up being charged 40 euros each monthly with no consent or authorization. Customer service is horrendous, reasons they give you for not refunding make no sense - they don't care at all, it's literally someone in India reading off the script. I use e-sims a lot when I travel and this is the ONLY horrible experience I had.

Issue from over 6 months ago is still not sorted. No connection, no data, no calling yet still trying to charge me. Cancel everything and stop sending invoices.
Do not recommend

Hi, I signed up for a subscription with LYCAMOBILE and informed them that I wanted to cancel. I tried to do it by phone, but there was no answer. I also tried through the app and on the computer, as they claim it’s possible, but there is no option to cancel from either. I contacted them by email, and they asked me for information I don’t have. However, they keep charging me 16 EUROS every month, even though they deactivated my line and I haven’t had access for months. I’ve never had such an experience with any company, and I’ve lived all over Europe. Please don’t sign up with them — it’s a SCAM. Be very careful.
EDIT: They said, in response to my message, that they were going to contact me. Well, not only have they not contacted me, but I’ve also written to them and they haven’t replied.

I bought two prepaid SIM cards from Lyca.
While activating my bundle, I made sure not to tick the box to save my payment details. Yet, somehow, Lyca saved my card information anyway and started charging me €10 every month — without my knowledge or consent.
No emails, no reminders, no communication at all. Just quiet deductions.
Is this even legal under GDPR? How can a company store card details and auto-renew payments when the user explicitly opted out?
Feels like a pure scam. Since I didn’t use any Lyca services during that period, I believe I’m entitled to a refund and a proper explanation.
Consumers, please double-check your Lyca accounts — this kind of behaviour is unacceptable

In common my review is going about LYCAMOBILE as a Company. From the day that it exist until now, LYCAMOBILE hasn't done anything to improve its operational facilities and services. All is very old. I mean ALL. Technology, connectivity, availability is below the real-time standarts. The pricing and tariffs are another point of discussion... Very disappointing... The reviews, the comparisons are fake. For example it says that Lycamobile is using KPN Network in The Netherlands. KPN has the most perfect coverage, but only for those who are direct clients and connected directly. Frequenties that Lycamobile is using, are cheapest, disastrous, catastrophic. Bad connectivity, less coverage and forget about 4G/LTE.
Thanks to customer service, and especially Marizabel who did her best to provide me with proper information and was very helpful with handling my needs, I have stayed as a client, for a while. But, to be honest, I don't know how long it will take. Probably I will change my provider as soon as possible.
Thank you Marizabel!!!

they purposely make it difficult to unsubscribe
asking for lots of needless information to drag on the process, no clear unsubscribe button or options, feels super scammy

I needed to swap my phone number back to my old one after losing it. I contacted customer service four times. During the first call, I was told to register my number, but the prepaid registration form kept giving me an error. On the next two calls, the agents repeatedly insisted that I try different browsers, saying they couldn’t help unless the SIM was registered.
However, on my fourth call, I spoke with Rhona, and she was incredibly helpful. Definitely a 5-star for her. She assisted me with registering my SIM, transferring my number, and answering my other questions. Once everything was resolved, she even provided the numbers I could dial to confirm the transfer after four hours. Thank you Rhona ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I had bought a prepaid SIM card from Lyca.
On their website, I never ticked the box to save my payment details. However, conveniently (!), Lyca DID save my card information for me (very thoughtful) and has been charging me for 2 months (15€ each time) without my knowledge, nor my consent! I never received an email reminding me that I was still being charged. Is this even legal? How does this fit the GDPR?
Pure scam! Since I did not make use of any service offered by you for these two months, I want my money back! Thank you...

Lyca is an absolute thief who steals your money, doesn't give back and keeps doing it.
I sent them countless e-mails to stop debitting and returning the money and they act stupid
I've never paid for subscribtion with them and unclicked all the boxes; but still somewhere hidden they make you subscribed which I don't have access to
They ask you questions, you answer and then they act stupid
Never ever give your card details to this company, this is a complete fraud company.

I have been trying to cancel this undenounced auto renewal for the past month and they refuse to do so. I have given bank statements, original receipt emails, everything; and they refuse to acknowledge me as the owner of the number, given canned responses back. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever had. I've had to resort to going to my bank to help stop these charges.
