I hired 20gb with lebara last month and…

I hired 20gb with lebara last month and 200 minutes of calls for almost 20 euros. After 5 days the phone data stopped working and in the app said I had spent all of it, but on my phone i had only 5gb of consume, I only use it to listen to music on my way to work, there’s no way i could spend that much in such a small period of time. But the funniest thing is, that it also shows I spent all my minutes, and i didn’t even made one call, such a scammers they are.

Not the best service

They didn't add the discounts in my contract. Had to contact them. Instead of sending a new proper contract they just added a mail saying I get discount.

Appalling customer service, rude agents, and complete chaos!

I am extremely frustrated with Lebara Netherlands. The incompetence and rudeness of their customer service is shocking. There is complete chaos in their support team, as agents constantly contradict each other.
When I called about my bill, the first agent explicitly assured me that they would completely remove the charge from my invoice. However, when I called again today, a different agent told me the exact opposite—that I absolutely must pay it.
To make matters worse, this second female agent was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of trying to help, she behaved like a broken record, aggressively repeating "you must pay, you must pay" without providing any logical arguments. Every time I tried to explain what the previous agent had promised, she loudly interrupted and talked over me. She also kept putting me on Hold without even warning or asking me, which completely violates basic customer service etiquette.
I cannot rely on conflicting verbal statements from a support team that treats paying customers with such disrespect and hostility. Furthermore, Lebara’s own website contact form is useless because it limits messages to only 300 characters, making it impossible to file a proper complaint.

Beware of out-of-bundle-cost!!!! 50euro for 500MB!

I pay for a sim-only subscription for my father, who is not particularly with digital devices. He didn't notice his phone was disconnected from wifi and used up all his 10GB monthly allowance accidentally. After that, Lebara charges me 50euro for 500MB data, which is labled as out-of-bundle-cost. 500MB lasts for 1 minute in today's internet. So I didn't have time to do any intervention. I am willing to pay a reasonable price for the extra data. But 50euro for 500MB, in my opinion, is nearly scam behavior and is not acceptable to me. Thus, I rate Labara 1 star.

We would like to clarify how out-of-bundle costs work. These costs are incurred once your bundle has been fully used. There is a safeguard in place: you can incur a maximum of €50 in out-of-bundle charges. After reaching this limit, it is no longer possible to make calls, send texts, or use mobile internet until the next billing cycle or until a new bundle is added. For calls to service numbers (such as 0900 numbers), additional charges apply. These are always outside your bundle and can be found under “Out-of-bundle usage” on your invoice.

If you’d like more control over these costs in the future, you can enable a Data Cap for €1.50 per month, which automatically stops data usage once your bundle is used up.

Furthermore, if you would like us to look into this situation for you and provide a more detailed explanation, please feel free to contact us through our website, through phone or social media. We’re happy to help.
