Do not download this app

Do not download this app. I read their website and downloaded their app. Ran the scan and then ordered and paid for the subscription. The it said call them a give them access to your drive so they can install. Sorry. I am not giving anyone this permission. These people are crazy.

I have had MacKeeper for years #1

I have had MacKeeper for years, and they have never let me down. They are responsive and trustworthy. They can fix anything. They are a Ukraine-based company, and I want to support Ukraine in any way I can. They also help with tech support for my 90 and 91-year-old Mom and Dad! They are so patient- My Dad doesn't trust anyone!! Premium is the way to go. Thank you

Subscription renewal

I purchased my subscription back in 2016 and had been happy with MacKeeper for the time I owned my computer which I no longer have. I totally forgot I had this subscription until the auto renewal was charged with no heads up. I requested a refund as I no longer need the service as I don’t have the computer any longer. A reminder of the upcoming renewal would have given me the time to cancel. I find this to be a terrible way to do business, especially with me being a longtime customer. Sorry to say that you feel the need to keep my money under the circumstances. Buyer beware.

With MacKeeper, I get to use my Mac without a single worry. Cleaning, Security, Performance, Privacy - all handled effortlessly. bad cusomer service

I have no Idea how well the program works or does not work. I was billed for a subscription on a computer I no longer own and when I foud out via a credit cardstatement that was over due becasue I dont use that credit card. I cancelled the subscription, the CSR was more than happy to cancel the subscription but no refund as it had been more than 30 days since the renewal. I asked about prorating and his responce "not our problem" steller customer service.

Be alert to carefully notice, follow and monitor EACH of the steps of the app!

The LIKE - lots of useful buttons that work!
The DISLIKE - when the app malfunctions (as many apps do), resolution was LONG and ARDOUS! It was the "user" guiding the "expert" in resolving the critical issues. The app has some conflicting algorhythm that presented unique issues. Closing - retstarting - CLOSING AGAIN - Restarting again was the Solution (SELF CORRECTING)

False advertising

False advertising. They say they offer a "FREE" version. This is a lie. They scan your computer and then ask for payment. Everyone is promoting this as a great company, but I feel like you are all lying.

I'm an idiot! They're amazing!

When I orignally contacted Mackeeper, I was upset and frustrated. I was not shy about letting the representatives, "Diamond" and "Riley" know about my displeasure. I will admit, I was boardering on rude. then after about 40 min, I realized it was my mistake ALL ALONG! I immediately humbled myself and apologized to "Diamond". During the ENTIRE encounter, their reps stayed calm, courteous, respectful, understanding, and most of all respectful. After an hour, we had all my self imposed issues resolved, and I was actually smiling. I can't say enough how refreshing it is to have such excellent, dedicated assistance. THANK YOU!
