DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY - TOTAL CON.
I'm normally really careful online but ordered from here in a rush & regretting it before the dress even arrives (if it ever arrives). The facade of 'Jessica' closing her shop is a total fraud. As is 'express delivery' - its shipped from China & judging by the other reviews I've now seen if it does arrive it will be shambolic quality.
Their website shop should be shut down as it's a total lie!

I reiterate all the negative reviews…

I reiterate all the negative reviews posted here, and then amplify them. I too, have fallen foul of their dishonest marketing, there is no shop run by a near-to-term lady. There is no shop at all. It is a pack of lies, with fake advertising photographs, a garment which bore no resemblance to the one in the picture, with nothing approaching a "true-to-size" claim, with dimensions which they claim to be for a size 10 woman, but measuring for a size 16 one. The after-sales team is run by reamaze.com. an AI chatbot. There are thinly veiled threats of having to return garments to Hong Kong at my own expense, even though the website clearly states that there are free returns if a garment is faulty. I have written seven emails, and still not received a return address at all, or an agreement that I will be refunded with paid-for-postage. So, my credit card provider has been involved after I initiated a "raise a dispute". I informed the company that I would be doing this and the veiled threats became more explicit, with the warnings that a bank will take 60 days to action a refund and that I will still have to pay the postage to return it to Hong Kong. The good news is that my card provider undertakes to issue a refund within five days from today. I would add, don't give up on getting your money back, in my opinion they are bandits.
UPDATE: I reported this to my credit card company yesterday and I have already received my money back in full from Made by Jessica and they have not asked for the dress back.
DO NOT accept what this terrible company says - you ARE entitled to a refund if the garment they send you is not to size. Simply send your credit card company / bank a screenshot of the order page, where it clearly states 'Free 30 day returns' and 'True to size' along with the email trail and you will receive a chargeback.
Do not be intimidated by the AI bot telling you that you have to return it to the USA at your own expense, or that by the time it gets there, it will be too late for a refund. The law is on your side, so don't be afraid to use it.

AVOID THIS STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE

AVOID THIS STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE. They are deceiving and although at first seem to be legitimate, they are definitely not. The clothing is poor quality and does not fit according to website specifications. They made not one but THREE mistakes with my order. They basically stole £50 from me and held their hands in the air and claimed, “nothing we can do”. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Please do not make the mistake I made. Shop elsewhere. THEY ARE CROOKS.

I bought a dress from Made by Jessica hoping to…

I bought a dress from Made by Jessica hoping to wear to a wedding and paid £60 in total. It was absolutely awful! I would give this less than 1 star if I could. The quality was so bad it felt worse than items of Shein (and yet a lot more expensive) there were no labels or anything in the dress, and it felt really cheap and didn’t look like the pictures on the website. It had stitches that were already unthreaded and not sewn together properly. It was the worst quality, smelt weird and looked terrible. So I started the refund process which was also really poor. They kept trying to persuade me to keep the dress and not bother returning as it was complicated and will probably have logistical issues. The return also cost me a further £20 to send back! Do not buy from here, I found a lovely dress from Club London which came the next day looked lovely and felt great quality, and would have been so much easier to return if needed with a legitimate company! Learnt my lesson not to shop with non-reputable companies. Wish I had never bought anything from here, please save your money and buy elsewhere

Don't make my mistake and use this company.

This company could start by being somewhere close to truthful in its advertising. If I could give minus stars then I would. Garment sizing useless and impossible to get a response for returns. I must always remember "if it seems too good to be true it probably is". Never go near Made by Jessica again. The quality suggests poor 'factory' made with zero quality control.

Total pack of lies

I only give one star because I can't give none. Dress was totally different in style and colour from the photo. Fabric was some sort of slithery synthetic rubbish that transmitted a small shock when rubbed. Standard of sewing was abysmal (possibly made by a child?). Worst of all, no indication that it was made in China - the blurb was a pack of lies about someone closing her business due to having he first baby. Complete pack of lies start to finish. Touch it where you will, this company is false.

Total scam

Total scam. Was sucked in by the lady closing her London shop to have a baby. Jacket I ordered was unwearable due to errors in sewing on shoulders. Sent photos and asked for a prepaid returns label as advertised in their website terms and conditions. They deny this even though I sent a screenshot. Offered a 10% discount and I could keep the unwearable jacket, followed by 20% and 30%. Gave an address in USA to return the jacket to (at my own expense). It is a charity distribution centre for unwanted goods! Return address on package was for ‘Edward’ at an address in London, who appears to distribute for numerous scam companies. Lesson learned!

Bad quality and items not like pics advertised

The items purchased were nothing close to the pics advertised. The quality is terrible. I wrote back requesting a return label and that i would be contacting my bank. Only for them to respond discouraging the return stating the costs to post etc , and offered me a 10% refund. This is unacceptable and certainly screams SCAM! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. WE SHOULD REPORT THE SITE SO NO ONE ELSE FALLS VICTIM

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Dreadful company. No indication that the items come from China. Poor quality fabric. This company makes it very difficult to return purchases, using delaying tactics like asking for photographs with tags. They, of course, have that information anyway as they sold me the items. I ish I had read the other reviews before I made purchase. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Great big scam

I wish I'd read reviews before ordering a dress from this company. It arrived after many emails to say it was in transit, when it wasn't. I didn't even try the dress on, it's a load of tat, horrible cheap material. As other customers i am not going to go through the stress of trying to get a refund...the postage would probably cost more than. It's complete scam and i agree with all the negative reviews which have been submitted,, be warned...don't even think of ordering from them

Do not buy anything from this website- total con. Cheap, nasty material, polyester/nylon, poorly made. Waited 16 days for a dress to arrive from China not a London boutique! Lots of ‘keeping in touch’ emails and offering more discounts. There is no boutique or pregnant lady. Just wished I’d seen these reviews instead of fake ones on the website.

Don't be fooled it's a scam

I ordered 2 midi dresses that turned out so long that a giant could have worn them. The pattern & colour of one dress was no where near that shown on the advert. Overall the material & stitching was appalling - it was cheap & nasty. It was when I requested a refund I realised that it was a scam. I was told shipping & packaging would be my responsibility & expensive. TO FELTHAM!!! that was the return address on the package. I finally gave up & accepted a 10% refund which I still have not received.

Based in Altrincham

Based in Altrincham, UK. What a joke.
Very disappointed as clothes are poorly made and manufactured using substandard material. Was going to return for refund until I realised returns have to go to Hong Kong at my expense so will be donating, unworn, to charity.
Assume photos on website are AI generated and believe this website is a scam. Will not be using again…..EVER.

Misrepresented in every category. The materials are shocking, cheap rubbishy polyester mixes. Returns to china, not uk. So buyer has to pay postage and taxes. Avoid at all costs.

This company is a scam. Looks great and seems quality. Presents as a boutique belonging to a woman having a baby and closing down.

Says free Uk return but the clothes actually come from US not Uk. Meaning you are responsible for paying return and taxes etc.

Company won’t even give return details. I’m not hopeful of getting anything back. Disgusting, disgraceful and sickening.
