Didn’t receive my order. Contacted them and was told it was delivered. This was December when I had about 50 deliveries this was the only one that never turned up and it wasn’t delivered because I have a ring doorbell. No refund nothing. This site is a scam.

I order an item from Maxedbuy and then emailed to cancel the item within 15 minutes. They advised they could not cancel it. They said I would have to wait to receive it and then send it back.

I never received the item. I contacted Paypal and after an exchange of emails was advised that the item had been delivered. On Maxedbuy's website they say they use DHL or Royal Mail but the tracking system they show as delivered is neither of these. Additionally there is no actual proof of delivery. The tracking system actually shows the item as dispatched BEFORE I place the order. Apparently, the item was delivered in less than 24 hours but again on their website they charge £13 for express delivery which I was never charged. This was the week before Christmas!

I have written to Maxedbuy on four occasions but they do not respond. I am now in the process of raising this with Trading Standards. They did not notify me of my right to a 14-day cooling-off period.

I wish I had read the reviews of this company before buying. Their customer service is very poor to non-existent.

Why did I not read the reviews first I am waiting on a kitchen tap to complete my kitchen. I ordered and paid £4,99 for 48 hours delivery and like others have not received my item.

I have emailed them and not received a response.

Do not buy and I will not let them get away with it I will tell and advise as many people as I can not to buy also.

Another crappy Amazon drop-shipper and selective scammer. If you order multiple items, you won't get all of them. Don't expect a response, just email them the obligatory warnings and then do a chargeback. It's the only way to shut down this sort of thievery.

They took payment before asking for delivery details or even an email address. Eventually I found they had delivered to the address registered to my PayPal, which is not my home address. They gave no indication that they would do that and I can't get to the address because of the pandemic. They ghosted me after the first email and lied to PayPal when I disputed the payment.

Do not buy from this company, they have a british address but i do not believe they are based here. website states 2 day delivery but have now been waiting 1 week without even an email to say that the items have been shipped. No phone number so you can only email, they do not respond to facebook messages, and have just had a message saying if its not resoved in 24 hours we will get our money back - not much good for my daughters birthday which was yesterday. Cant wait for the shops to reopen so i dont have to deal with companies like this !!!

No shipping information sent... no reply to numerous emails - terrible service and still no items...

I finally received the RMA and prepaid Royal Mail labels from Maxedbuy 01/02/2021, to enable me to return the faulty goods, with a promise of a full refund on receipt . I sent the goods on 02/02/2021 ......to date no acknowledgement or refund.

It was only after l posted a bad review on Trustpilot that I got a response. I doubt I would have heard from them otherwise .

So I am hoping another BAD review on Trustpilot will prompt them to do the right thing and issue a refund.

I hate to think they get rich by exploiting many people like this.

I recently bought a 500-piece puzzle from maxedbuy.com, it said it would take two days to deliver. After ordering I checked online for reputation and found it to be disappointing. However, the item was delivered, although one day late than it said I am still happy and relieved.

Like others I would give minus stars if I could!! What a con. I feel so stupid!! They charged £15 over the Amazon price and had the cheek to add £5 postage. Why aren't Amazon doing anything about these people?? Avoid at all costs. You will definitely get anything on this site cheaper elsewhere. Soooo angry 😠 🤬 😡 Will be reporting them to ASA

I did not see these awful reviews until after I had made a purchase. I had seen a product I wanted on Amazon but it was out of stock with expected delivery in March, so when I saw the same item "in stock" with the option of paying £4.99 for 2 day delivery I was very pleased. That is until the due day came and went, no response to requests for updates so I raised a dispute with PayPal to get my £50 refund. Needless to say they are ignoring PayPal as well but I expect to have my refund very shortly - I always use PayPal if it is an unknown to me company. Looking at the reviews it has only been operating a few months and it would appear that it buys from Amazon, marks the product up and then charges for delivery although the product is delivered free by Amazon. Perhaps Trading Standards should take a close look at them & also Amazon.

I ordered an item from this company, then saw the awful reviews on Trustpilot! Fully expected never to see my goods or money again - however, I received my order the very next day! Happy with my purchase.

I really want to give no stars as they are so poor! I ordered a paper crafting item and subsequently received a package from Amazon - with a note "a gift from "Alexis O'Keefe" On checking on Amazon I found I could have purchased the same item for £9.57 post free when I had paid nearly £19.00 which included £6 for postage! It is evident that this fraudster doesn't have any stock but purchases from Amazon at the cheap price and doubles the price they charge customers! They also are breaking data protection laws by giving their customer details to a third party without the explicit consent of the customer. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY BEFORE YOU HAVE CHECKED OTHER POSSIBLE SUPPLIERS INCLUDING AMAZON!

Do not buy from this company. I ordered a gift for Xmas; it didn’t turn up. I sent two emails through PayPal requesting an update; no response. I understand in these trying times, mistakes happen, but to not even respond is inexcusable. I’ve requested a full refund; I’m sure I’ll get the same response.

Placed an order last Thursday for Birthday present for a special someone with 2 day delivery option! They advised Friday the order had been despatched for Saturday delivery. Nothing came no updates no note left through the door! 🤷‍♂️ had a missed call of amazon but no one showed up.

I asked maxedbuy 4 times for courier info and tracking information and they did not respond to my questions with no care at all! 🤖 is it that hard to answer the question NO!

The amount of lack of communication, the frustration caused and lack customer care... so much they need to work on here!!!!

But I have got email 5 day after it was supposedly despatched from paypal for a full refund without not being told the outcome out the delivery which I find strange! 🤔

Apparently the order got lost.

Nobody offered to re despatch in the end!

Stay clear of this business please and all items are on amazon alot cheaper.

No option to cancel order before you pay I bought the same product from Amazon for £5.00 with free shipping this company £5.00 with £ 4.95 postage and it was from Amazon

I ordered a knife, this so called company came amongst the first in the Google search. Arrived the next day, from Amazon. I already have Amazon prime! They just charge a premium, and order from their Amazon account. If I'd gone straight to Amazon it would have been £10 cheaper. They eventually sent me a return address label, but the whole thing seems so dodgy that I'll keep the knife and write off the tenner. I really don't trust this Katerina to honour the refund. At least I have the goods.
Don't use. I feel I've got off lightly, others who gave reviews here have not.

The customer service could be a lot better don’t get me wrong. However, don’t read all of these negative reviews as I read them after I bought my items and started worrying thinking I was going to get scammed. My item was here in a matter of 2 days and it’s perfect. Thank you. Would recommend.

Poor service. No communication. They buy from amazon and then charge extra.

My item arrived quickly but it came directly from Amazon.
I was intending to buy from smaller companies and avoid the ethical issues of Amazon, I found a suitable product on the Maxedbuy website and did the usual faff of entering card details etc and paying the £5 delivery charge.
An amazon driver and amazon box arrived 2 days later, I'm pleased I got my item and the service from Maxedbuy was fine but honestly I could have bought it 10x quicker and saved £12+ to get it direct from Amazon myself??!
Maybe Maxedbuy just have a Prime account and charge you more for the exact same things
