Oneof the worst experience ever, i was using this internet company for several years. After i left i cleared the balance. Again In 2022 they send the bills to clear, I did. Guys now its 2026 and this comany send me the bill saying credit of 2022. Are you kidding?? What a worst experience.

The MEO installation did not bring enough cable to connect my TV and the TV connection broke. MEO refuses to send anyone to provide more cable or even repair the TV that it's installers broke. And now they are telling me that I will have to pay for someone to come. It's beyond negligent. What a terrible company. Do not do business with MEO if you can help it. The response that MEO just provided here is the same response that MEO provided previously, which led to no resolution. I can't wait until AI puts MEO out of business. MEO deserves to be bankrupt.

Ok, given that we were off line for several days due to the storms, was totally understandable.
However what is not acceptable after the service was restored is over the past three days, the fiber signal has been going down every 20 min and staying off for aproximately 10 min, so cant work or do anything, so have tried to contact MEO .....what a joke. There web check system says no issue, when i get through and the fiber signal is working....of course it is at that moment in time.
When system is down, mobil signal is virtualy none existant in our area! So can not contact from my phone!.
Drove to a better reception area to gain wifi....MEO web system down....please try again latter.
Going to look in to starlink as only obvious option that i can think off as i need a reliable service.
Update 19th March:
Did eventually manage to talk to someone in technical at MEO, (wait time was about 45 min) It was worth the wait as they spoke to me in English (greatly appreciated) and they were professional and offered a refund for the days I had been without working wi-fi. Service team turned up within 48 hours and fixed the issue,
Must say when you can get through to them they are very helpful shame about the initial dificulties.
I would revise the rating to 3 stars given this.

After 24 days Finally my connection is being restored by technician. After so many calls unattended schedules this is finally solved. I will rate 4 star. Only cause the technician was super friendly and helpful. I suggest to Meo team please attend to solve the issue quickly and efficiently. Receive calls and listen to our issues. Obrigado 🙏

Without doubt the most demoralising customer service. For 4 days I have been trying to get through to the 'Contracts Department' to make a change. One phone call 90 minute, the last 2 hours without success, countless other shorter phone calls the hold music ground me down into submission. I only have a UK 0044 so its not possible to arrange a call back. As for making an appointment to see someone face to face in a store again this is not possible to arrange due to not having a 00351 number. How can the Chief Executive of MEO think this is fair on ordinary cutomers. I will be contacting the CEO via email search for it on google its there and send an email. Besides asking for the complaints book in store and writing a letter to the Lisbon office.

I am super frustrated and helpless. We live in Denmark and have a holiday home in Portugal with MEO as the internet provider. Since 2/Mar/2026 there has been no internet connection. Over the last 2 days I made more than 20 calls at both +351 961 001620 and +351 213580144. I was given with English option but it finally swithced to Portugese voice message and I got hanged up. Even I managed to talk to the CS agents but I still go hanged up after they transferred me to the Technical support. I installed MEO App on my phone but the Digital Assistant is not working at all. There is no more FB with MEO. I sent message (with my NIF details) to MEO Instragram but got no reply. There is no email avaialable that I can write to. How can I get someone form MEO Technical team to resume my internet connection? This is a nightmare!
As I have a contract that should provide me with downloads up to 500 I try since weeks to claim this as my downloads are around 40-60!!! I cannot work, not even look tv.
Since weeks trying to get a technician, waiting in each phone call minimum 30 minutes then given up as I have to do other things. The ladies in the shop cannot help, given me appointments that let me drop into the waiting line again.
I know that I have to have a new router, it’s from 2019 with only wlan 3. But as MEO does not care about their customers I have to cancel my long term contract. MEO tries to get new contracts in any occasion, but does not care about their paying customers.
And I know for well MEOs only answer will be again to give in my numero de contribute what I did several times before. They never came back to me as promised. They only write this to show on trustpilot something!!!

I had a terrible experience with MEOs mobile services. They are quasi-digitalized, with an app that contantly runs into errors, and will drive you mad. They use phone salesmen that sells products without clearly declaring hidden costs.

I can't receive calls or make calls.
Called Meo on Sunday, was cut off after 10 mins.
Called Monday, my call wasn't answered for 30 mins, so I hung up.
I'm appalled by their service.
I will be leaving, I can't put up with this.

I am trying to reach them about billing they always send sms like they will add fee if I donot pay but I wait for call for 1 hour from last week after its been forwarded to correct department noone picks up.I pay more then 2 months of subscription on calling them just to reach them. Customer service is zero!

Do not use MEO. Customer service is really bad. Switched to DIGI for similar service ar a fraction of the price.
I am now on the phone waiting over an hour because I woke up to one of my Euro-sport stations suddenly being unavailable. Meo has a tricky little catch to customer service. When asked why you are calling you have to put in your land line if you want TV tech service. I suspect my service has changed and rather than send me an email saying “what would you like to do regarding this change” they just make the station unavailable. I was told I was being connected directly to a person and I am now going into my second hour. Maybe he is at lunch. I waited a half an hour this morning before hanging up.

It’s impossible to rely on their technical service. I’ve spent literally hours on hold to talk to first their customer Service who then transfer to technical where there’s another hold. The agents are typically very friendly and offer to write notes for the “back office” to handle.
The back office never calls though. My issue is the router was placed in the wrong place. Agreed to with all the agents, and a representative of the back office. He promised to make it an urgent action to send the technician out to do it right. That was 2 weeks ago and crickets.
I went to an office yesterday and they put it in the computer for technical to call me today. They did and I’m immediately again on hold. So far 44 minutes. I guess i should be thankful they’re giving me the time to write this review.
Bottom line when it works fine. If you get in trouble go suck air

I’m sorry; none of the customer service people mentioned the storms, not even in the store I visited yesterday. One follow up phone call would’ve made a difference maybe. I have been without internet for 13 days now.
I contacted MEO on the day the service failed and was told it would be fixed quickly. That was not true. After many calls and zero progress, a technician visit was finally scheduled almost two weeks later.
I waited at home the entire afternoon during the agreed time window. At the end of the slot, I received a message saying the technician could not find me at home. This was false. No call, no doorbell, no attempt. Just a lie to close the ticket.
Now it is Monday again and the technician still has not come. I am still without internet. Thirteen days and counting.
This is not a technical problem. This is pure operational incompetence and complete disrespect for customers. I am paying for a service that is not being delivered, wasting workdays waiting for no one, and getting misleading information every step of the way.
Absolutely unacceptable service. Avoid if you value reliability or your time.

When trying to contact support you can only chat with a bot.
Constant threats to canel your service if you don't pay and they add 5 euros to the invoice.
Tried several times to contact support to explain that my mom is unable to pay because her pesnion is not enough but they give you a call and if you don't pick it is too bad and you are left with no solution.
I do not advise this company to any one!
