Nope Nope Nope I e-mailed about my…

Nope Nope Nope I e-mailed about my item and no return e-mail.. I called the phone it said to e-mail. Now I have filed an order to return my money from the bank card I used...I waiting 3 weeks. The order was coming from the next state over. I could have walked there and picked up my order. I will never never never use them again and wish there was away to call Facebook to show how bad this guy is. Please do not order from this asshat. it was only a 89.97 70% off but when you only make $1010.00 SSI that is a lot of money.. That was food for a month almost.. I will never buy from a Facebook seller again, scam if I ever seen one.. I have order 100s of items from other retailers and NEVER been scamed. But I will get my money back because the bank will just take it back. I can't do half of what the Guidlines said do because I never got a order # But They do have my e-mail address and even a phone # and name and date the money was taken from my bank and even the time.. 6:12 AM on March 21st The phone number on the bank statement has a different phone number than the 1 online. before I retired I sold 1000s of dollars of items and had a 100% review from 1000s of buyers and got the item out the same day or next day.

Didn't receive merchandise

I ordered 3 bags. One of them I ordered separately as I didn't see it when I placed the 1st order. Unfortunately the company put the same tracking number on both packages. I only received the first two bags but not the third. I called FedEx and was told the company provides the tracking number. I am out one bag that I paid $179.99 for. I wrote the company on Monday and have yet to hear from them. If I don't hear from them I will never order from them again.

I ordered two different style bags that…

I ordered two different style bags that were delivered today. One bag is as advertised and hopefully will work as expected (after it will get some time to vent off the terrible smell). The other bag is a sad rip-off. Despite being described as 100% full-grain leather, it appears to made of something very thin and several parts of the bag even seem to be made of some imitation leather. I am truly disappointed in the quality of this second bag, or better utter lack thereof.

Finally got it and it looks great

I ordered a bag back in February from France. It was a present for my sister and was to be shipped to Sweden. Due to a misunderstanding on OUR part, the bag was sent back to India. I contacted Montana Hudson through email (impossible to reach them on the US phone number) and got a prompt reply that a new bag was being shipped without extra cost. Despite some issues with FedEx the bag arrived yesterday (with DHL) and looks exactly as on the site. Thank you so much for your assistance AR!

Rip off

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing a large leather bag. The advert said FREE DELIVERY and they knew the order was coming to Spain.Yet FedEx tried to deliver it yesterday asking for 27 euros customs tax.
I refused to pay and contacted MH and was sent a response attaching the company policy saying if I don't pay the amount requested by FedEx then the bag will be destroyed or returned to the seller. Either way I won't get a refund.
Disgusting....and I note from all the reviews that you don't address the products being made in India.
I wish you bad karma....you deserve it.
I am contacting my bank to raise a dispute.

No help just the standard reply.

I ordered leather duffel as a gift. Yes it comes from India
not the best quality. It is missing the shoulder strap I only received a partial one. The company does not communicate with me. The profit on these bags is 3-400% I have proof of that . One would think they would at least answer..

Got a delivery confirmation but received Nothing

I got an email confirmation saying my package was delivered. Well it wasn't. I don't know what I expected the company to do. They apologized but won't do anything. I opened a case with FedEx who were the carriers. I'm just pissed to be honest. Maybe it was stolen off my porch but I doubt it. I live in a small town and have good neighbors. Right now I hate this company and FedEx.
Edit: So I got the bag. FedEx dropped it off today, the day after. It's an okay bag. It feels a bit cheap for leather and it came with a good amount of scratches. I like it well enough to keep it though.

Montana Hudson are not what they seem

This bag is not at all like it looks on the package. Montana hudson give the impression they produce high quality leather goods from America. They do not. The bag I received was from India and low quality. Also all the finish is not leather. It is actually a horrible bag. I cant wait to send it back and hope i can get a refund. I am actually not buying anything else via the internet or Instagram unless it is a person or company I know. I have finally learnt my lesson. What looks tempting and stylish is actually a total con.

I ordered 2 items and after less than 1…

I ordered 2 items and after less than 1 month the strap on one of them broke. They promised me a free replacement but when the item was shipped I was asked by shipper to pay almost $30 in duty taxes. I have spent 6 months trying to resolve this with no success. Do not buy this product as they do not stand by their commitment.

Thanks for the reply, but I have tried this effort for 6 months with no success.

Stupid tax

First mistake.I bought this bag from a facebook ad. Second mistake. I didn't read reviews before buying it
Third mistake. I waited for it, hoping my experience to be different.
It smells "to high heaven" like everyone else
It has a rip at the bottom of one of the dividers all the way across
It has stains inside
It has a knot of thread about 2" long on the strap
Right now it's in my backyard on a table hoping that one day in the future the smell will be gone.
I didn't even bother to contact MH because I seriously don't want to waste hours of my earthly life expecting a different experience from anyone else.
I can't decide whether to give it away or wait for the smell to stop
I can't sell it on ebay because I'd make someone miserable wanting a refund.
I consider the $120 I paid for the "Langston leather" briefcase to be a "stupid tax"
Do yourself a favor and buy from another vendor.

The Dixie leather saddlebag i bought is…

The Dixie leather saddlebag i bought is not real leather. Only thing that has been ackording to description was the delivery time. But i would rather have waited instead of beeing ripped off. Reading previous reviews i doubt I will receive any kind of acceptable compensation. I wish i had read the reviews before ordering.

Wonderful Product

I ordered the Jefferson Leather Briefcase Messenger because it was such a great deal. After ordering I went back to their website and up popped these negative they are a scan reviews. I documented everything and decided to wait to see what happens. I am glad I waited. The briefcase is beautiful and the leather is very good (love the smell of new leather). High quality good bag and more features than I expected. I got a tracking number that worked. I was surprised it came from India as the website said made by local artisans and since they are in San Francisco I figured they were local to there. But no problem the briefcase was everything they said it would be and more.

Making waves down under!

I thought shipping my order to Australia would cause problems but there was hardly any hassle - even with the Covid problems! My order arrived 4 days later than predicted (understandable!!) and was still safely packaged. I LOVE my saddlebag and can't get enough of the deep, leathery smell! Beautifully made and will suit just about any outfit! Excellent experience!! Thank you!!

I ordered the Caroline Saddlebag

I ordered the Caroline Saddlebag. Received in decent amount of time- was shipped from India. The inside of the bag has glue or some type of stains throughout all the fabric compartments in addition to a terrible odor.
I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement bag - that came in a decent amount of time packaged exactly like the first. This replacement bag has a front metal clasp that is not attached and had an oily substance all over it! The bag is designed differently then the first and it also has a terrible odor. I contacted the company and requested a full refund for the first bag and a prepaid shipping label so I may return both bags. Montana Hudson responded that they needed photos which I supplied - an associate "Liza" told me they cannot give a refund and would be happy to send a third bag!!!!!! I informed them NO and said I do not expect to be charged for the second bag. I can't use either bags - ridiculous! I think these bags are handcrafted from India - probably for cheap and its a crapshoot who actually receives a good bag! Don't waste your time or money! VERY disappointed!!!!!!!!!

after seeing all the negative reviews I tried not to be put off. My bag arrived safe and sound. I could track it all the way..day by day and literally hour by hour. It arrived in excellent time.. extremely well packaged and the bag is beautiful. I would definately recommend Montana Hudson and buy from them again. 😊

Dixie Saddlebag

I ordered the Dixie Saddlebag hand bag on 2/9/21 and it arrived on 2/22/21. It is exactly as shown on the website. Beautifully made, lovely leather and quality hardware. It is lined with a beautiful plaid fabric. It was thoroughly packaged in a plastic bag, bubble wrap a muslin draw string bag and finally a FedEx plastic shipping bag. I sincerely hope the previous complaints will be resolved.

Avoid Avoid Avoid!

If the option was available I would give them Zero stars! This company should be completely ashamed of themselves. I have posted three other reviews and they have answered all of them claiming to do their best and wanting to resolve the issue. BUT THEY DON'T. I have emailed time after time and get no response. I have given them my order number, no response. My order has never arrived, the courier has confirmed they lost the parcel and only the sender (Montana Hudson) can deal with the claim. Meanwhile, I have no bag, out of pocket and now claiming back via my credit card. Montana Hudson, you are a disgrace and anyone reading this should not risk ordering with them.

This company is an absolute farce

This company is an absolute farce. I ordered a bag after seeing an ad on Facebook. The bag came from India and was a completely different bag from the photo. It smelled terribly. When I received the bag, with came in a fed ex envelope in no box at all, I immediately contacted their "customer service" phone number listed on their website, to get return instructions. The message said to contact them via email with no option to even leave a callback number. "Liza" emailed me back asking for photos of the bag. I sent photos and also a screenshot of the bag that I was supposed to get. I asked for a refund because it smelled to high heaven and I did not want anything from their "company." They responded back that they were sorry they couldn't refund my money and they would send me a replacement bag. They said they would send a tracking number to let me know it had shipped. I told them that I absolutely did not want a replacement bag, I wanted my money back. They said no. I told them that I was going to contact my credit card company and would dispute the charge ($144). They responded back that sometimes it could take up to 75 days for a charge back and that they would rather I work it out with them directly. I was SHOCKED at their service. Absolutely shocked. I told them to not contact me again and that I would post reviews about my experience with them.

Never Order from this company

I ordered the Trinity or Tri-colored Cowhide bag. I looked at the Brown and White and the Black and white carefully, before deciding on a 3 colored look which would go with more. I even purchased a new wallet from the company to match that bag. The shipment came amazingly quickly. From China, by the way. I was very excited. Opened the wallet box. Great! Then the bag. WRONG BAG SENT! It was the OBVIOUSLY Light Brown and White as shown clearly on the website. Not even close to the Trinity. Obviously the Brown and White. I contacted the company immediately to find out how to fix their mistake."Len" told me,so sorry- in order to return, I would be paying shipping,etc and a$20 restock fee, BUT if I kept the bag, they would credit me 15% off my purchase. SO, they make a mistake but in order to correct it,I have to spend? NO WAY. "Liza" another rep who said no worries, they would take care of me ,So sorry.NOPE I even sent photos, as requested so they could give them to their compliant department and see it was the wrong bag. WASTE OF TIME Just words! I'll never order from this company again and hopefully you won't either. Really NO STARS

It is simply a scam

It is simply a scam! I still have not received my order to this day because I am trying to understand WHY I am being asked to pay a surplus of more than 50% on the entire invoice for so-called VAT (yes, read "fifty percent"!) Transport costs were also added when these were already included in the invoice.
