Purchased the Eva dark brown tote on 15 Jan 2021, delivered 28 Jan to Pakenham Victoria, Australia as promised. The quality of the bag is exactly as advertised. Thick strong beautiful smelling leather. The stitching is excellent and they use metal zips (not plastic, yay). The bag has little studs/feet on the bottom to protect the bag when placed on the ground/floor. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. And do feel nervous when buying online, as have had negative experiences with overseas purchases before.

The bag I received was made so well, not flimsy, I know I will have this bag for a long very long time.

DO NOT BUY!!! A COMPLETE SHAM, LEATHER INFERIOR AND WILL NOT RETURN!

Never received the order. All I get is email from support stating the tracking number indicates the product was delivered.
There is no one to contact.

After ordering, then doing more research on Montana Hudson, I became apprehensive, thought I perhaps had make a 'shopping mistake.' I did like the idea that the Dixie was buffalo leather, made in India by local craftsmen, and tanned in a more natural way. My expectations were low but I was pleasantly surprised! The purse is well-made, thick lovely leather, lots of pockets. I experienced a speedy delivery, considering that it was shipped from India. Truthfully, I am very happy with my purchase!! I will use it for many years.

Do not buy from this company, it is a scam! Awful customer service! Purchased a gift before Christmas and it’s 20 of January and have not received it. Over 13 emails, can’t speak to anyone, and they are still “looking into it”. They won’t cancel the order because they have a “ speedy delivery “???

Ordered a Canadian made $168 purse and recieved a $40 Krishna Handicrafts one made in India!! It was cheap and smelled horrible!!

My bags arrived today (Eva and Lydia tote, one for me and one for a gift) and they were worth the wait. I’m so happy with them. They are beautiful and well crafted, and I can already see how the leather patina will age, which is why I bought them, I want a bag that will age beautifully.

I was worried after my initial shipment was rejected at customs due to a paperwork error (and after seeing a number of reviews on here), but the team at Montana Hudson were great. I spoke to them every other day or so and was kept updated and the second attempt at shipment arrived without any problems.

There is a smell to the leather, but that is normal and will fade with time. My Eva tote has a padded laptop compartment and the Lydia is easily big enough to fit a laptop in (the recipient is thrilled with the bag). I’m pleased with my purchase, and glad I persevered.

The purse is not leather and has a very chemical Odor. I requested cancellation of the order within 12 hours of placing it as I had just received a Christmas gift that I liked more. I was told it could not cancelled and was referred to their returns policy. It arrived Saturday. Without opening the envelope, I requested a RMA since I had told them
I no longer needed it. Offered a 15% refund and was told $20 restocking fee, making it unattractive to return. I agreed. Now I open it and IT IS NOT REAL LEATHER BUT CHEAP VINYL. Misrepresenting the whole situation. I am awaiting a response to my ticked off email. I am disputing it with CC company. I expect to receive a full refund and an authorization to return it within the USA. Watch me post on Facebook next and on and on. Buyer beware. So disappointed I fell for their shoddy wares and sympathetic responses. My attorney will be receiving this post as well.

My wife ordered a leather backpack and a purse, took forever to arrive (from India, apparently).
Quality was definitely suspect, the purse looked plastic. Emailed for a return authorization, but all they would do was offer a 15% discount. Over and over. 5 times. They had no intention of issuing any refund.
My advice is buy American-made leather from an American company, owned by Americans.

Ok, I didn't pay a LOT for this bag - $70 or so. It seemed pretty hardy, but also a bit low on handyman quality. Just a bit more rough than I was expecting. I've been using it for about two months, and a huge part of the stitching has already come apart, leaving a gaping hole in the bag. I'll try to find a local leather craftsman who can repair it, but pretty disappointed in the craftsmanship of this item.

I can definitely not recommend others in using this website. It's the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

I bought a bag in light brown and paid 1000r + duty 280kr. However, I receive a dark brown bag in very poor quality. With stains etc. I wrote to them the same day that they have sent the wrong color, but no reply .. I have sent them two emails subsequently and no reply.

It is such poor customer service, and will never recommend them again. My money is wasted.

I ordered 3 leather bags, 12/11 in plenty of time for Christmas. Mever rec'd. The SHOP tracker keeps showing in transit. I sent 3 emails no response. I spent
$239.00. This was part of a Christmas gift for my children.
So very disappointed.

This company is a scam, don't buy.

Do not I repeat, DO NOT deal with Montana Hudson. They are a scam company claiming to be hand made leather products. More like Chins made plastic leather. I tried to stop the order before it was sent with no luck. I even went as far as not paying the duty but it arrived anyways. Not sure what that was about but obviously BS. So short and long of it stay away from this company

I was very skeptical about this company. I ordered the crossbody for an upcoming trip. I read the bad reviews after I ordered. I was prepared to try and fight PayPal for a refund. The purse was shipped from India, arrived in less than 10 days and is GORGEOUS! Leather is thick and soft. Plenty of zipper pockets. Well done Montana Hudson! $108 well spent!

I ordered a bag from Montana Hudson and it came shrink wrapped in a plastic bag inside of a burlap bag and it was all smashed together. For $175.00, I figured the quality of shipping would have been better. The wallet came neatly packed in a box so why not the purse? The purse was shipped in a timely manner.

Placed my order for the Wanderer duffel on December 13th, received it December 22nd in Jacksonville, FL, shipped from India. The quality exceeds expectations. Had ordered it through a Facebook ad and afterward read the reviews on various websites. Was extremely nervous thinking I'd made a mistake, especially since the tracking number indicated that it was five square centimeters in size and weighed just two pounds. This is a very honest and genuine review when I say that it is top quality saddlebag leather, with quality zippers, brads, and straps. Of course it has an odor but it's a pleasant one if you've ever played baseball or softball and smelled glove oil. The person I bought it for may end up with a gift card because thinking of keeping the bag for myself.

I received the tote I ordered and am not happy with it.
I want to return it for a full refund and looked at your website since NO PAPERWORK came with the product explaining how to return it. But the website instructions do not make sense. "Returns must be authorized"? Authorized by who and how?? I have sent 4 emails so far with no response.

Still waiting for my 3 bags after I ordered on November 30, 2020. Where is your product made? I thought California, but now it looks like it might be made in India.
Reviewers seem not happy. No answer on your phone.

Misleading company selling poor quality plastic goods, masquerading as quality leather direct from India. I wish I had checked out the reviews before I spent the best part of £100 on a piece of garbage that smells disgusting. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
