Horrible experience buying from here

Horrible experience buying from here. I made my purchase over 100 days ago and the shipping status hasn’t changed since day one. I’ve sent more than 20 emails/messages to the company and always received the same generic response with no solution. They even delete my comments about the order on Instagram.

Lamp never shipped

Lamp never shipped. Ordered on 09.04.25 now its end of July. After my first request I got a shipping link. But the tracking info still says that the shipping label has been created, nothing has been shipped. Stay away!

I ordered a (halo) lamp from their webshop on June 4th. I emailed them on June 16th, since I havent heard anything since the 4th. They said it was a pre-order so I'd have to wait, but got shipment notification 2 days after that email - on the 18th of June. The shipment website said they received the parcel information. But then it went dark. The shipment status did not change for 2 weeks and I decided to contact them again. I received a reply that they were having troubles with the shipment company and that they are working hard to resolve that issue. However, after another 2 weeks I still havent heard anything back, so I reached out again. This time I got nearly the same dull email back. That's probably 70 euros down the drain. So, BE WARNED.

Ordered their indiegogo campaign from december 2024, no items received until now, with generic automated (probably AI written) replies whenever I asked for updates. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. SCAMMERS!!

Don't buy it

I bought halo lamp 3 months ago but never send it to me althought send it to many of infulencers for free. so I guess it's a some kind of scam and I highly recommend not to buy any of marchandises from the company. Please don't believe affiliate marketers who don't pay their own money and must praise the products just for their pocket money. And I also angry with staged reviews on this site. Don't cheat Moonside design!

Extremely Disappointed

I backed MoonSide’s MagLight project on Kickstarter in 2023, with an estimated delivery date by the end of that year. While I received a tracking number in November 2023, there were no further updates and minimal communication from the company despite multiple inquiries. Each response I received repeated the same vague explanation about “shipping issues.”

Eventually, I received my MagLight in November 2024—a full year late. Unfortunately, the unit was faulty and would not charge, rendering it completely unusable. I contacted MoonSide in December 2024, and after persistent follow-up, they agreed to send a replacement in January 2025. However, as of June 2025, I have still not received the replacement, despite numerous follow-ups and repeated empty promises. I’m not alone—many other backers on Kickstarter are still waiting for their MagLight units.

This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I cannot recommend MoonSide. Their handling of this campaign shows a serious lack of accountability and customer support. Proceed with caution or avoid entirely.

Great products, appalling service

I previously ordered products via Indiegogo and my order was fulfilled without issue. Ordering directly from Moonside means that you are unlikely to ever see a product or receive a refund.

I ordered products on the 13th March and had not received anything by 15th of May when I contacted them, asking for either the order to be expedited or a full refund. On the 19th May I received a tracking number.

This number has not updated in 29 days. The only information for the tracking number provided is:

2025-05-19 15:08 Parcel information received

June - Contacted moonside. Informed them that chargeback would be taking place. Received the following message next day.

We wanted to inform you that your shipment is currently in transit and on its way to you. We sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this may have caused.

As a token of our appreciation for your patience and understanding, we’d like to offer you an additional 10% refund once your shipment has been delivered and signed for.

Opened case with bank. 4 days later received "temporary" refund.

15th July. Tracking information still not updated despite my "shipment" being in transit.

Nothing but lies from this company

Nothing but lies from this company. After many emails concerning my Halo Lamp and my Two Star Bulbs on when they will be shipping. Got lots of re-assurance email replies from Moonside but after placing my orders in February 2025 and now being June 8/2025 and still have nothing to show for the money that they billed my VISA Card for.

Do yourself a huge favour and stay away from these crooks. I will be submitting my issue with VISA but have very little hope in getting my money back or the products that I purchased from them in good faith.

Took Two Months to Arrive

I had originally given Moonside a one-star review here, after they failed to ship me my Neon Crystal Cube within the time expected or give me updated tracking information.

I actually had PayPal refund my money.

Then, to my amazement, the package just arrived -- about two months after my order. I have asked the company to recharge my purchase price since they did, finally, deliver.

The Neon Crystal Cube is beautiful and lives up to its billing.

So I give Moonside a thumbs-up, but beware that shipment from their Chinese facilities can take months...
