Daughters driving test

After trying to get a test for nearly a year these guys were able to secure one within 12 weeks but I did have to chase them, and sourced a driving instructor. She did not like the instructor to start with and I sent an email to which I did not receive a response, however she persevered and actually it all went very well and she passed her test. I would have scored this company a 5 if they had responded to my email and I hadn’t had to have chased but overall it did what it said on the tin.

This is my second review only because I wanted people to know that Mark Elliot is the owner of this company and the reason why customer complaints team don’t help is because Declan is the manager and he is Mark’s son, hence why there is so much gaslighting from him. I have had lots of people contact me asking how I managed to get my money back (eventually) and because this company hasn’t improved and are still ripping people off I have gone to “Watchdog” to report my story and sent them the link to this trust pilot.

They don't have intructors!

Another middle man company pretending to have instructors. Its a Micky Take at its best.

They reach out to local instructors in your area, usually insult them with a stupidly low price, whilst they sit in an office making a profit of YOU, the customer and the instructor.

AVOID THESE TYPES OF COMPANIES - STICK LOCAL

Genuinely wouldn’t reccomend this to…

Genuinely wouldn’t reccomend this to anyone. It didn’t feel like a crash course to begin with since it was over the span of a few months. My instructor was very discouraging which made my driving experience awful and stressful. I then attempted to switch to automatic (due to comments made from my instructor) and was then presented with yet another manual driving instructor. When I gave up with the company all together and asked for a refund it took MONTHS of back and forth and consistent phone calls from me for me to get anywhere close to a refund. I still believe I should have gotten a larger amount since I didn’t actually complete the hours the instructor said I had (due to HIS actions) but frankly don’t have it in me to keep fighting with a company that is so poorly made. Will give it to them the staff members i spoke to on the phone were all nice, however they didn’t have the power to help me with my situation and the people who could were hard to reach to and not available for direct phone to phone conversation so it became a lot of repetition from my end. Overall did not have a good experience with this company and wouldn’t recommend anyone thinking about booking with them.

To clarify, once a course begins it isn’t possible to switch from manual to automatic transmission, as instructors are contracted to the hours booked and reclaiming fees is extremely difficult. After reading some of the reviews was a little worried but so far, our experience has been fantastic. We booked to include the theory test and Kelsi Stevens has been brilliant with helping us. Always responds quickly to messages and has managed to get two tests booked very quickly. Hopefully it continues and the rest of the process is as quick and easy as this.

Requested a refund back in April and…

Requested a refund back in April and still haven't got it, theybstate they are still waiting for the money to be returned from the Driving Instructor so it can be passed back.

Unfortunately that's not how it works these days, a refund is a refund all im asking for is the 8 hours left that I hadn't used. Steer clear is want incompetence and dishonesty!

My 18 year old daughter booked WITHOUT checking, and was left with no test, no lessons and UNSURPRISINGLY NO REFUND.

She has genuinely suffered from significant ANXIETY due to this Company, who, of which, show nothing but an unbelievable ‘bigger person’ arrogance.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE

We paid £300 for my sister to have a test booked for her and lessons through an intensive course. Neither of services were provided. They have refused to issue a refund so the issue will be escalated on our behalf. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Very quick action with a test booked within a few days. I dealt with Holly would was incredibly quick to respond to all of my queries and was a pleasure to deal with.

NOT WHAT THE WEBSITE SAYS NOT OFFERED INTENSIVE FORMAT!

The website says its supposed to be an intensive course, I paid for the 24 hours which states doing 2 hours over 12 days or a maximum of 6 hours over 4 days. However this wasn't the case. I put my preferred course to begin early September almost 2 months later I have done 2 hours in total over 2 lessons 1 hour each time. the instructor I was given cancelled on me 4 times before I had my first hour. on most occasions the timing of these cancellations of lessons was the day of my supposed practice lesson. each time having a different reason. After having a few hours eventually I thought the lessons would be more consistent this wasn't the case. the instructor agreed to collect me from my place of work, I questioned his whereabouts via text as he wasn't in the car park for my lesson to begin after work. he then responded saying he wouldn't be attending, this pure unprofessionalism caused me to be stranded and having to contact someone to come collect me to drive me home causing me to be delayed by about 40 minutes. so in total they cancelled on me 5 times And I have had 2 hours worth of lessons in just little under 2 months. These situations I have encountered with this company is not what they offer on the website so I have demanded a refund and they have ignored my request and trying to push me to continue with this untrustworthy instructor.

DO NOT USE!!! APPALLING

No lessons or test date provided in 5 months. The refund process is ridiculously complex and, after a month of promising me a refund I still did not receive it. I told the company I was involving Trading Standards and, miraculously my refund arrived 5 months after i paid my deposit. This company takes advantage of people's desperate situation to try and get a test and then makes it almost impossible to get a refund. Appalling on every level. Do not use!

Avoid at all cost!!

Son booked with this company took months to get theory done, then took a further couple of months of chasing for his 40hrs of lessons. After that he then had to wait 3 months after all his lessons for his actual test date. Also be aware unless you pay extra for their “rules of the road” package, you do not get another shot at your practical test (not made clear at point of booking)! We had to chase this company every step of the way to get anything from them! Absolutely awful, total scam from start to finish and certainly not an intensive course by any stretch of the imagination. A £2400 mistake, avoid at all costs.

The instructor very paishent with me and keeps asking me how I am witch helps me keep calm and helps things sink in better because I feel more warm and we are covering a lot in a short time it's a pleasure to have lessons with this instructor

Appalling service and refuse to refund

Appalling service, they "forgot" about us for a month, when I chased it they said they would send refund form. They then refused. Save your money and your time, this company is a bunch of unprofessional, unreliable crooks. Luckily I booked on a credit card so will be going to my card issuer.
