30 minutes & 3 calls later for a driver we were told would be 3 minutes

A huge thanks to the drivers in Cork Ireland who always arrived on time. Take safety precautions and are so kind. Hugely recommend when I was in city recently dee to hospital stays. But a huge shout out to Mr Hartington a city driver in Cork who while driving in a rural area came to my rescue giving me a jump. It was a rough day for me and his kindness was wonderful. But the My taxi Licence Plate immediately made me feel safe given the drivers I had in the city. So thanks My taxi for drivers like Mr Harrington of Cork City whose Licence no is 10759 E1937 Please pass this review his way. I will most certainly use your service in the future for all my taxi needs and refer on the same.

Thief! They charged me £12,80 for one mile trip!

Booked a mytaxi and it was accepted saying two minutes. Then went to six minutes and stayed at six minutes for a further ten minutes before I rang the driver who told me He was stuck in traffic and five minutes away. At which point I gave up and cancelled. Drivers shouldn’t accept a ride and give a false estimate in timing. I was late and let someone down. Consequences. Cancelled my account.

Estimated €12-15 for a journey from airport to city, the driver wanted to charge €36 for a 15 minute journey! absolutely disgusting that the app can allow them to do this, the driver told me there was add on fees that he tried charging double because there was 2 of us in the taxi! God knows how much it would of been if there was 4 of us! the App need to regulate Better stop drivers abusing the app and ripping people off, forgot to mention following google maps he went the longest way possible!

Generally fine and often lovely taxi drivers when i actually manage to get into a taxi- but as other reviewers have said they often spend ages driving around and then cancel or just cancel. Not acceptable when you've got somewhere to be.

Taxi declines after accepting fair, no idea why feel let down, regular user but feel worthless quite hard to complain when not in taxi, generally taxi drivers are cool when in cab

I used the my taxi app and was quoted 48-52 euros for my journey whilst in Dusseldorf.
I just happened to look up at the meter and it said 65 euros so i checked my google maps. We were going in the wrong direction. I pointed out to the driver and he said it was a issue with google maps which i replied its not as i am using the app myself. He eventually pulled over and turned the meter off at 76 euros!! I was not impressed as we still had another 5 minutes to drive. Ive complained to my taxi and had no response after sending 3 emails....would not use again!!

I am long time user of taxis here in limerick city and today was probably the worst experience that I have ever had with a taxi. I ordered the taxi using the app and a few minutes later the driver rang me as usual. When he rang he already seemed annoyed because he had to leave the city to collect me. He then asked for directions even though the app shows the driver my location. I gave him perfect directions as I have done numerous times for taxis. He said ok and hung up. He then rang me again looking for directions as he was a little closer (or so he said). At this time I could see on my phone that he had not left the city yet. This time on the phone he was even more annoyed and was extremely rude. I gave him directions again and he said that I had given him wrong directions. He became extremely hostile and then with no warning hung up and cancelled the taxi. All the while I could see that he hadn't even left the city. This was just shameful behaviour by the driver and I will absolutely never use this service again.

Hired one in Milan (Licence No. 1751) from home to railway station. It arrived 10 mins. late and had already 9 Euros on the meter. What for? It did not follow the satnav but drove 3 detours. I paid 25 Euros, while the opposite direction had been 12 Euros a week earlier. So, what is the benefit for me? None.

92 euro for a trip that cost us 65 not so long ago

I have pre ordered two cabs using this app with 24 hours notice and neither have turned. I have been assigned drivers and then all of a sudden they disappear off the app and it says 'no drivers in the area'. The taxi driver doesn't even answer your call to say he cannot make the journey.
Absolutely ridiculous service, do not even bother! There are better apps out there that provide a more reliable services!!!

Paid for taxi in cash and 3!mins later got charged via my debit card!! How can reputable company do this? No control when you give your card details obviously!! Very Surprised... will update further if I am let....

I am so annoyed. After pulling over to add the my taxi free promotion code I still got charged. Was very friendly to the driver however upon saying that I would take a picture for reference of being charged he got very aggressive and unfair. Have supported this company and had many good drivers. Disappointed that I am going to have to stop using this service because of this driver.

I was stupid enough to believe all the selfcongratulatory crap on the mytaxi site. Our taxi in real life, in Malaga, ended up costing twice as much, as was promised when booking.
No way to reclaim. No feedback at the sajt or the app.
I would go as far as say, they should be stopped. They damage the taxi business, by facilitating fraud.

Huge rip-off!!! I ordered a taxi 24 hours in advance for an XL van and in the notes I wrote for 6 people and need a large van to fit suitcases as well. A driver accepted and only when he arrived to pick us up called and said he could only fit 4 people. So I had to quickly order a second car and pay double what I should have! I contacted the customer service and they said it’s my fault and they won’t refund me because the driver isn’t obligated to check the notes! Such a cheap app that don’t care about their clients!

Worst service, in the last minute informed that they are not sending the cab.

This company shouldn't even be allowed to pursue its business. All about it is a scam. We have had a nightmare using this app. The driver can delete your ride from the system so they can ask you to pay cash instead of through the secure payment system in the app. This way, they will ask for much more than what they should. Our driver took at least 2 wrong turns or detours that I am aware of, he charged us double what the meter said and bullied us into paying him cash. In the stress of the situation, we forgot our phone in his car. Due to the driver deleting the ride from the app, we were not able to find his contact info to call him and get our phone back. The customer service we received from the company after this was awful. We never saw our phone again and the company would not help us in making their wrongs right.

THIS COMPANY IS A NIGHTMARE. STICK TO UBER BECAUSE MYTAXI IS A FRAUD.

Have used the service now several times, all drivers on time, not speeding, cars fine, and delivery on time. BUT - the APP is not clearly confirming that a driver will be there when you book the fare in advance (meaning you need to hope someone will show up), and with my last fare, the APP did not allow me to pay - there was a technical problem which the driver confirmed to me. I have by now followed up FOUR times, by email to the APP, asking to charge me. No personal follow up except for automatic messages making empty promises. I have called the number on their website which is an automatic answering machine only. I believe that when a customer is offering to pay then the provider should appreciate this, and not disregard the request. In my 4th email I have informed the APP that I will wait till 6 pm that day, and unless I hear from them conclusively I will simply not pay. Conclusion, the drivers do a good job, but once you run into a problem with the APP there is no service. When travelling on business this is a problem. I will use another service in future.

I never had any problem with “my taxi” ‘till now.
I booked a taxi yesterday for today.
At the time the driver was suppose to pick me up he called and he told me that he was 10 minutes late.
After 15 minutes of waiting the driver was not there.
I had to get another taxi and I was 20 minutes late at the end!!
What’s the point to book a taxi if it’s not going to be there on time?
