I had a root server with Netcup and one day it simply went down due alleged "abuse". No prior warning, no way to convince i did not breal their ToS and days of downtime in my application.
Never rely critical services in them, you can lose everything in any random day.
Other hosting providers will always let you investigate (i seriously thought it was standard practive among all of them)

Server quality is decent, but their abuse handling and support are absolutely third class.
In the last 7 days alone, they blocked our entire server more than 3 times. We manage many websites, and sometimes a customer may unknowingly upload copyrighted or malicious files. This can happen with any hosting provider. If informed, we immediately remove the content. That is standard industry practice.
However, Netcup directly disables the whole server without warning and then tells us to contact support to get a so-called “maintenance window” of 120 minutes to fix the issue. The real problem?
Their support NEVER provides this maintenance window.
I even raised a formal request asking for a reasonable grace period (12–24 hours) to investigate and resolve abuse reports, just like other providers (e.g., Contabo, Hetzner). Instead of understanding or cooperating, their support staff simply ignored the request. One reply even ended with “Mit freundlichen Grüßen” and clearly showed zero intention to help.
Worse, they explicitly told us:
“Please do not send any further inquiries regarding abuse to our support team.”
This is unacceptable, arrogant, and unprofessional behavior. Hosting providers are partners, not kings. Blocking an entire server due to one abused site is unethical and causes serious damage to business operations and brand trust.
This experience felt like mental harassment, not support. Their policies are harsh, communication is poor, and their attitude is completely anti-customer.
We will not tolerate this kind of treatment. Their abuse handling process is unethical and damaging, and we are seriously considering legal action against the company and responsible officials for the losses and stress caused.
Strongly NOT recommended for any serious business.

Everything is easy to set up, and very stable. Haven't had any issues so far. No slow-downs, no connectivity issues, no crashes. The customer control panel and server control panel in my opinion are weird to navigate, but you get used to it.

They can't properly process business details when you place an order. A request for manual correction hangs idle for a week, blocking any operations.
