If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Frankly, there was nothing wrong with the hotel itself. Our issue was their "cancellation" policy. We were unable to leave as scheduled for our trip due to tornado warnings at our departure airport. The moment I hung up with the airline after re-booking for the next day I phoned the hotel directly and changed our reservation. I thought everything was fine until I checked out and found a "cancellation fee" on our bill. I asked for it to be waived due to circumstances beyond our control. I was advised, by email, that "unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions on this policy." I will never stay in a NH Group hotel again and would advise you not to, either.

Worst service ever

Stayed with a group at NH Alexanderplatz in Berlin. While booking, the hotel communicated a wrong up price for using a single room. Once arrived, the hotel tripled the price and told us if we disagree, we could look for another hotel. Of course, as a group, this is hardly realistic. Also, they were rude and condescending, exactly not an attitude you would expect from a four-star hotel. Never again NH! Highly recommend to AVOID NH ALEXANDERPLATZ in Berlin!

Hotel room is difficult for wheelchair accommodation. ♿️ Requested upgrade. Hotel couldn't accommodate. Booked 6 nights. Gave 48 hours notification to shorten stay to 4 nights. Hotel only will refund one night. Very difficult to go to another destination for one day. Check out time 3pm, check out 11AM. Disappointed with Hotel. Hotel manager never spoke to me. Passes information onto staff.

Awful service ever

We booked NH Hotel Madrid Paseo del Prado for 2 nights for 2 people with breakfast, we had a paid voucher from the tour operator for these services in our hands, but the hotel did not want to check us in on our check-in date on Sunday (when no one is working) and suggested calling the tour operator, since the hotel supposedly I only had information about a reservation for 1 person. The receptionist Andrea Urda was impolite and raised her voice at us, not offering options to resolve the situation and refusing to check in, such service and communication are unacceptable for a 5* hotel.
As a result, we were checked into a hotel, before which they took a deposit of 100 € and forgot to provide a receipt (only after a reminder), they promised to sort it out, but after a day they gave us a note from the hotel reception, which indicated that the problem had not been solved and we needed more pay for breakfast at the hotel once... Neither the hotel manager nor the tour operator could solve the problem.

EASTERN SLOPE ( SLOP ) INN

This was our first vacation in seven years. Im sixty two on a fixed income so my wife and I booked a friendly pet in for three nights. We paid just under 800.00 dollars and arrived. In doing so the front desk attendant was unfriendly and asked if we wanted to use our credit card for the $150.00 dollar charge. I explained the bill was paid in full and first learned that we were being charged for having two small dogs, an additional $150.00 dollars. Then we were asked and had to produce vaccination documents, another fact never told to us. I had to call home and have the documents emailed to the Inn. Then we are given keys to our room which is one mile off site. Arriving I can best describe this facility as a cheap highway motel that should be charging by the hour. The gras was uncut, the site had the original unheated outdoor pool that had a dirty gas grill chained to the pool fence. The outside chairs were either rusty or dirty positioned on the grass which was a hill along with a wooden picnic table. The parking lot had holes that needed to be paved and the ice machine was accessed by a hole that was cut into a wall at the end of the building near the Main Street. You had to walked across the parking lot to get ice, no water or soda machines. The room, much smaller than the main building had such a small bathroom that the bathroom door would strike the sink when opened. Arriving late we sent the night and went touring there next day arriving back at 7pm. Returning to our room we realized that our room had not been serviced or fresh towels provided. When calling the front desk, management told me that turndown service is not provided and fresh towels are available if we choose to drive the main building to get them. Interesting enough, they had the gall to leave an envelope in our room to provide a gratuity for room service they don't provide, can you imagine.

Conclusion: we checked out the next morning at 6am a day earlier. Eastern Inn Slope ( Slop ) charged us $300.00 a night for the horror explained above. Off site guest are not afforded the same amenities, no room service, a cheap small highway motel accommodations, no room service, no fresh towels, a parking lot walk for ice, awful outside resources including dirty or rusty chairs, uncut grass, and a dated unheated pool. Nothing compared to the main building including restaurants, access to main street, bigger rooms, inside ice machines and soda machines, heated indoor pool and sauna, plus many other positive options.
This company ripped us off for over $800.00 dollars and provided nothing. The only truth is that you will be sent to hell at their off site location if you have pest for family unless there service dogs and charged every dime they can bleed from your wallet.. Management explained that dogs bring allergies to gust explaining the off site for pets but service dogs are not restricted from the main building, they apparently do not cause allergies for guest, just your dog does. Prior to leaving the area my wife and I did check several other resorts and verified that Eastern Inn Slope policies do not exist in other inns and resorts and provide a much better respectful experience for less money. All this company did is ruin a first vacation for my wife and I in over seven years, did not care what we had to say, and took a sixty two year person for every dime they could providing nothing but disappointment and aggravation. NH Wein City - DISASTER

Checked into the NH Wein City and it is easily the worst NH hotel that I have stayed in. No visibility of the hotel from the street. Hotel approach is through an alley. Luggage has to be carried up and down on stairs on the way. No Wifi availability in the room (unbelievable in a 4 star hotel in this day and age). Two fire alarm activation within an requiring entire hotel evacuation. DISASTER. AVOID.

Gold member of NH Loyalty program. have stayed in 4 separate NH hotels in last 2 weeks without getting acknowledged or respected.

In my whole life of travelling (71…

In my whole life of travelling (71 years old) I never before stayed in a hotel that had no food or drink. ‘Only what is in the mini bar’ said the guy on reception who seemed to be embarrassed to work at Nh ( I would be) NH . Had to go out to buy my own food and drink.
Bar shut , restaurant shut, wellness shut, everything shut, no staff . And room stinks too! I prepaid for 6 nights so I am am now stuck with this situation. I am here right now room 226 at Nh Timisoara if somebody wants to discuss this with me. I am not a complainer at hotels normally but this is so bad. Oh. To be fair there is a small self service breakfast available early morning but we need to get sleep then. DJ with huge stack of speakers had been making unbelievable noise outside our window last three nights . OK this is an update Mon 13th June. We leave tomorrow. Staff were all good people and did their best for us but this is a large hotel seriously lacking luxuries and and even basic amenities. We are disappointed and dissatisfied . We feel that Nh hotels took our money under false pretences. The beautiful jacuzzi pictured on the website does not exist!!!!

Dishonored Reservation Despite a Guarantee and Confirmation

Despite a confirmed and guaranteed reservation at the Mexico City T2 Airport Hotel and having checked in on line, I was told I had no reservation and they had no rooms! They did not even want to assist me in finding a hotel. Don’t trust your confirmed reservation. Further don’t expect a reply if you write them asking for an explanation or apology. I am not making this up! I would never stay at one of their hotels.

Just HORRIBLE

The rooms are just plain bad. The service and management of the facility is far worse. I hate to say this about any place but this hotel is complete garbage. You couldn't pay me enough for me to stay there again. The hotel is EXTREMELY loud and you can hear people talking & working as all the rooms are on top of each other and have paper thin walls. The whole hotel is continuously under construction. At 8:30am, work in the hotel starts and you can hear it throughout every room as we were moved to another room which was even worse. I woke up with employees sawing metal & couldn't believe the lack of common sense so early in the morning. Then they clean our room and left us with no soap in the morning after going to the bathroom. They have a complete disregard for their guests and the front desk could not care less. They called our room at 2:30 am to ask for my girlfriend's passport. No common sense to wait and don't understand why the hotel needs passport info after we paid as this was never communicated beforehand. The front desk was extremely rude and wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. It clear with all the construction in front and around the building that the hotel should be closed for renovations. The rooms were missing soap holders as the rooms seem to be incomplete. They moved us to another room after 2 1/2 HOURS of waiting after they kept saying the room would be ready every 10 minutes for 2 1/2 hours. I never complain or write anything bad about anyone or thing but save your trip and don't stay at this place.

Do not rely on late checkout promises or a do not disturb sign

NH hotel Brussels, Grand Place, Arenberg. At least the room was ready when I arrived, earlier than planned. However, do NOT rely on 'late checkout included' even after verbal confirmation on site. I had a rate that supposedly included late checkout until 5pm and because my train didn't leave until 4.52 this was very helpful. Or better, it would have been. I left my belongings in the room when I went for breakfast and then out with a no disturb sign on the door. To my utter astonishment, the room had been cleared of my possessions when I returned at 3.30 pm. If haven't been able yet to check if anything was damaged in the process but laptop, passports and everything else were simply removed from the room without my consent. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this hotel.

Awful Hotel & Management

Terrible hotel and staff……
Stayed in NH Dortmund for Christmas 2022 for 7 nights. First room lights didn’t work and terrible rattling from the air con and the fridge. Moved to another room at an additional cost of 10 euros a night can you believe it. Walked in to the second room with two empty water bottles in show and no tea or coffee. No water coming out of the shower, curtains hanging off the rails. Two single duvets for a kingsize bed, remote for tv didn’t work so replaced four times. Only one English speaking channel for a 7 night stay! Terrible coffee which was always cold. Never a manager on site. I’ve since emailed 11 times in the last five weeks and have been promised a refund and contact from the manager. To date nothing. Come on M Boegermann, get your priorities in the right order and speak to your paying customers and stop ignoring us.

Not a 5-star experience. Very bad bed.

Why do you go to hotels? To sleep. So, the bed is important. The bed here at NH-hotels Copenhagen was awful. The matress was extremely hard. We both had problems falling asleep due to that, and we both woke up unrested and with back pain. I had to take two kinds of pain killers to get rid of it. The bed in our room was kingsize, the duvet was ordinary and was double, which can be a bit warm. There were no other options in the room. The pillows were synthetic and thick. The sheet was not long enough so at the pillow end it lacked 20 cm.
The staff was friendly. The food was ok. The coffee was bad. And the scrambled eggs had a very bad taste.
In my opinion not at all a 5 star experience. Not value for the money.

Disappointed with Hotel

We stayed in Havana at the NH Capri, the hotel is dated, but, it has some nice features, large Lobby and entertainment in the evening.

They have staff challenges, on three occasions we tried to get coffee and beers from the bar, it took ages, so we went to a bar over the road!
On arrival front office staff said we could exchange monies at reception, the next day when we tried they said no.

At breakfast, so many staff and managers in the dining hall, you can't get to your food, very little meat.

Only one small bottle of water on arrival, not replenished after that, same with showers jell and toilet roll.

Two out of the three lifts not working on out final day.

Hospitality really does need to meet and exceed customers expectations, especially when they are 45 minutes walk to the town.

Our accomodation was at NH Brussels…

Our accomodation was at NH Brussels form the 12th Dec 2022 until 15th Dec 2022 Louise which we booked through Booking.com, the hotel was of a reasonable standard along with the breakfast, the problems encountered where we had no hot water in our room or hotel and our toilet was blocked for 24hours which they could not resolve as they had no maintenance workers on site and also the lift did not work on our floor so had to keep walking up and down 1 floor which is not a big problem if your are of good health which i am not, and the toilet we could use for 24 hours was in the basement and we were on the 7th floor, we bought it to the hotels attention but they were not interested in rectifying it, we have taken the issue and up with Booking.com and they say you have not responded to there request

Prague Carlo IV

Prague Carlo IV. Charged twice for the same booking. Unbelievably disgustingly rude reception manager Jan. who accused me of being a liar and asked me to produce bank statements to prove I payed booking up front! Although I had E-mail confirming this! Asked me to described who checked me in then stated that person Ahmed wasn’t on duty then! Lol. Refused to give his managers name! Utterly disgusting little man. Had to go through U.K. customer service. No apology/ No refund as yet. You couldn’t make this up! Two night stay ruined.

This hotel company charged me twice for my booking and now they don't answer nor refund! Very bad service! They hold my money for more than 2 weeks already and still no reply. Their customer service is saying they can't do anything and they don't have any contacts apart from email.
Dear NH Hotels please tell me how long should I wait for my money?
