My money is being kept in hostage !!!
I have been fighting with PayPal for several weeks just to withdraw my own money.
I am self-employed and provide coaching services. As my business is still growing, I thought using PayPal would be a convenient way to allow my clients to pay in instalments. Unfortunately, withdrawing my funds has become a constant struggle.
For weeks, PayPal has given me one reason after another for withholding my money. I have completed every step they requested, yet they still cannot guarantee when I will regain access to my funds. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that none was available and that I should simply avoid logging into my account for 72 hours. Is that really supposed to be a solution? Even then, they could not guarantee that the issue would be resolved.
What kind of customer service is this? PayPal seems to have no difficulty accepting and holding people’s money, yet allowing them to access their own funds becomes a problem.
This situation is completely unacceptable, and I am extremely shocked by the way it has been handled. Think twice before opening a PayPal business account.
