Our last cat had recently passed away and our home isn’t a home without cats, we always got our cars from charities but Pet Rehomer had come up on my Facebook page a while ago, so I looked into what was near me and amazingly 2 cats were advertised (we like to get 2 together)
The process couldn’t have been easier, you create your profile for owners to see if they think you’re suitable, so it’s a good idea to tell them as much as possible.
Our interest was then registered and once the owner wanted to proceed a home visit/interview was completed via zoom.
Once that was approved a WhatsApp group was set up with the owner, adopter and a member of the charity, we were then able to arrange a visit.
Once meeting them we knew they were the cats for us and we arranged a date to collect them.
The WhatsApp group continued as we had a few questions we wanted to ask about them, that was very much appreciated.
We are so pleased we found pet Rehomer and even though we haven’t had them long they feel part of our family already.

Company was very clear with communication. They were thorough with home checks of adopters which put me at ease that my fur babies were going to someone who would love and care for them. They then put us in a chat and I met the lady and wow! She was fantastic. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to take ownership of my boys. And it’s all thanks to pet rehomer. I couldn’t recommend them enough!!

We had to make the very difficult decision to re-home our dog. Our main priority was finding a lovely new home and thankfully we found Petrehomer. Jenni who assisted with the process not only with us but the new family was amazing. Although so difficult, this process was exactly what we needed. Very helpful if you need to rehome an animal. They find suitable pet parents and put you in touch with them. Ive found this a very pleasant process.

We had been trying to find a cat to adopt for some time. We needed an indoor cat and every shelter we applied to said they don't re-home to indoors only. We felt at a loss and didn't want to buy a cat via Facebook or the like.
I eventually found Pet Rehomer and applied for a lovely cat.

Really helpful and supportive. I felt comfortable that my pet was going to a safe and loving home. Being able to talk on a group chat with the staff and the adopter was really helpful.

Two weeks ago we had the pleasure of rehoming Gilbert. The system for rehoming was perfect. The communication with our volunteer coordinator Terry was great, he helped us to arrange a home meeting with his previous owner and after an initial meeting we brought Gilbert home a couple of days later. He's settled in really well and it feels like he's always been here. I really can't recommend Petrehomer enough. They are great.♥️

We have just rehomed two lovely dogs. What makes Petrehomer different to other organisations is that the process is structured, unrushed and the organisation and its volunteers are there for you at each step in the process. They ultimately want what is best for the pets but also want you to be sure the decision is the right one for you.
We found the process straightforward and thorough. The website is really informative. The ability to meet the pets in their previous home environment we found extremely beneficial. We would highly recommend the charity to other people considering rehoming.
The one area we felt the process could be improved was the lack of a timely follow-up once the handover had taken place to check all was ok.

An excellent service linking people needing to rehome pets with those looking for a new furry friend in a controlled and caring atmosphere. We lost our elderly cat earlier this year, and, being used to having a cat about the house, wanted to give a home to another (in our case, older) cat. We were delighted with the choice available through Pet Rehomers and the care and attention that was made by its staff in making the right match. We now have a lovely 12 year old tabby cat running around the house making itself thoroughly at home! Our thanks to Pet Rehomers.

I used Pet Rehomer to adopt my wonderful cat Roo, and I cannot speak high enough of the wonderful service and support that I received from Jenny & the team. The process was so smooth and seamless and they really have the animals best interests at heart. Roo is the perfect addition to my life and I am so glad that I found him!

My experience with petrehomer was excellent. They really helped me finding a good family and home for my two cats. They cared a lot for us and helped us from the beginning till end.

Petrehomer provides an excellent service in rehoming dogs, meaning that dogs find new homes and do not need to go into kennels. Also there are plenty of dogs that need homes. The system of rehoming is good for both sides and the staff are very capable and caring.

Absolutely brilliant! Found a lovely home for our dog within a week. Couldn’t have asked for a better way of rehoming!

Couldn’t have been easier, from start to finish was straightforward and to the point and now we have our perfect dog

We have had our adopted dog Nola for 9 days and we all love her very much. She is such a good fit for our home circumstances and has settled so well. This is due to the PetRehomer charity who do such a wonderful job in bringing rehomers and adopters together. From first contact to their final goodbye we were looked after every step of the way. Jennie helped, reassured and was totally brilliant. This is definately the best way to find the bff right for you.
