The product was clearly a return

The product was clearly a return. The batteries were flat and had to be replaced. The tape separating the batteries from the thermostat had been pulled. The box was badly damaged and held together with suppliers branded tape, this suggests your staff knew it was a return.

I chose plumit because they were…offering next day delivery

I chose plumit because they were offering next day delivery and the price was on par with other suppliers. As promised boiler came next day. However I have no idea where the boiler had been stored until then. The bid was in bad condition but on opening it up the boiler was covered in black dust which has stained it. It would have gone straight back if we were not desperate for the boiler.

Restocking fees is extortionate - do not buy from Plumit Ltd

Do not buy from Plumit as they charged 10% for returning the item - in this case I paid a restocking fee of £46.73 + postage of £9.99 and an additional postage of £8 to send it back. This is a total of £64.72.

The item was in stock and so I feel that this charge is excessive. Most companies will charge you postage both ways and that I feel is fair.

Complete rip off!!!

Complete rip off!!!
Didn't receive what I ordered.
No instructions to send it back,and they charge you a lot for courier delivery.
I will not use them again and I advise everyone to stay well away from them.

I don’t usually leave feedback

I don’t usually leave feedback, but on this occasion as the service was so good I have! I recently ordered 2 bathroom cabinets, upon opening the packaging (a few weeks later) one of the door panels was damaged. I contacted Plumit who were very helpful and organised a replacement door within a couple of days (and this was in the Xmas period). Technically, they didn’t need to do this as I reported the damage outside of the period stated, but having discussed with Barry, he recognised why we hadn’t checked the unit beforehand. I would definitely recommend them and will use Plumit for my next bathroom shortly.
