Shocking service and absolute disappointment!

I bought a wowcher for myself and my partner to go to Albufeira for 3 nights in August. This was a gift for Christmas or at least it was meant to be. After redeeming the voucher (as it stated to within 48 hours) I gave the contact details it requested and I was on the understanding that I would hear from the holiday company within 2 working days. A week went by and I had still not heard anything from them so I emailed and called - both no answer. After contacting wowcher themselves they said they passed my query on to the travel department - I was then asked for my contact details again and a preferred date and time to call - all of which were provided. They said I would receive a response from the merchant (Prime Holidays) within 3 working days. I still heard nothing. I got in touch with wowcher again and they passed the query on to the travel department. I heard nothing so I threatened to report them to trading standards and the financial ombudsmen. Only after a couple of threats did I receive a response through wowcher ‘from Prime Holidays’ saying that they didn’t have the contact information they required to complete my booking. After providing this information again, I still didn’t hear from them until a few days later when I was asked through wowcher how they could help despite the messages sent previously. I have asked for a refund and been ignored so this is my last resort to give the company, whom I’ve got absolutely no faith in, a bad review. I will also be doing the same for wowcher as they haven’t been doing much to help either. This is the first and last time I will be booking a holiday through wowcher.

Absolute cheaters scammers and liars

Absolute cheaters, scammers and liars. Do not use prime holidays they have tricked me and many others into booking a holiday then when they call you they tell you the dates are unavailable and you have to pay more to go or told me that I have to have a 5hour stay in Dublin at the airport before I fly to Amsterdam is an hour away. Disgrace of a company. They are a scam company. Spread the word and do not ever use this company they should be closed down immediately.scam

BIG SCAM ALERT!

I have been waiting on details options for my holiday to Algarve for 3 months I bought and redeemed on 7th November 2023. When they did finally acknowledge me after many emails, calls and complaints to Wowcher, I was today told I could have a flight for the day I picked but it had a stop in Dublin for 5hrs, and if I wanted a more convenient flight options, I would have to pay more money. All I want is a refund, how can I trust this company will not leave me stranded. I have lost all faith in these deals.

Wowcher deal SCAM!

I’d stay well clear of this company and Wowcher deals! Like the rest of the reviews I’m too victim of scam! Brought a London to Amsterdam deal to find out I’ll be stopping over in Dublin to not go to desired destination but a city 124km away. For me to go to the destination that was advertised is £99pp on top of Wowcher deal already paid for. I’ve been waiting for them to come back to me since 18th December. No one has contacted me. I’ve requested refund for appalling service and not getting what was advertised no communication back.

If there was a minus rating I would…

If there was a minus rating I would give it. I was conned into parting with more money, they won't send an ATOL certificate, only 1 passenger given an inbound flight instead of 2, will not respond to phone calls or emails and then in the email I received, the attachments were wrong and destination! So much for Wowcher deals... absolutely appalling service. Scammers, do not use ever! I'm in the process of trying to get my money back!!!!!!! I just want my money back it's my first trip in over 4 years...I even put myself in further debt because of it.

Bad company not what u buy

I also, like everyone else brought a holiday through wowcher for me and my husband for 3 nights. Had a phone call off prime holidays about the holiday. To find out, first the flights had us having to fly past Birmingham to go to Dublin for a 4hr stop over then come back to Birmingham trying to add to the 3 nights holiday. All the kept saying was it adds to the 60hrs allowance for the holiday. We didn’t get to stay at the hotel we had originally booked and for us to get the flight dates we had planned and paid for we had to pay £39pp she did originally want £69pp. I was refusing that, as in my eye I had already paid for what I wasn’t getting. Once we had finalised all the flights and details she sent me an email for me to confirm everything which was fine. Then a few hours later I got another email with someone else holiday details in. There name, address, date of birth who was going and when and where they were flying too and from. When I emailed back to say you have sent me someone else details all she said was sorry could I delete the email. I can’t believe I was sent all of someone’s personal details. Had the same been done with mine?. I have no faith in this company and also would never buy a voucher through wowcher just incase I ended up with this company again. A I don’t go away till February so I wait to see if anything else goes wrong. I feel like I don’t even want to go now. Cost is £316 so far, when originally it was £238.

Booked through wowcher for £80 each for a 2 night stay in Venice. Flights where useless meaning one full day only, so flights where changed to brilliant times allowing 3 full days to be there but come at an extra £135 which I stupidly payed. When later looking at the the hotel they had booked for us this was 3 star with extremely poor reviews. Part of the package was a 4 star hotel. When I queried this with them they told me there is nothing they can do. Finally after arguing a little they agreed to a 4 star but states it would be £70 more!! Absolutely a joke of a company! Avoid at all costs!!

This is a total scam

This is a total scam. I bought a holiday through wow voucher. I have had no reply for the holiday provider for weeks trying to confirm the booking after paying money. Tried multiple communication channels. No reply. They have taken the money and not given a holiday. Wow voucher have been equally terrible constantly asking for 72 hours and 3 working days to resolve the matter. Weeks have gone by and there has been no return of money or resolution. Do not book with Prime Holidays and do not book holiday through wow voucher as it limits your protection rights and ability to get refunds or compensation should something go wrong.

Day light robbery, robbing the poor

I bought a wowcher and Prime Holiday were the providers of the holiday. They offered alternative flights but all were no suitable, and due to change in family circumstances travelling abroad was no longer suitable. I then was supported to redeem the voucher locally. I had made a payment of £184.99 I was then asked to pay another £70 and this for a hotel called ropewalks in Liverpool. I paid a total of £250 and this was for 1 night. When I checked online the hotel costs £44/night on an ordinary day and for the day that I wanted it was £120. Prime holidays charged me more than double the cost of the room. That's day light robbery and I will take this to Ombudsman because the reason I bought a Wowcher is because I can't afford to go on holiday and Wowcher had offers that I could afford. Now I am being made to pay £250 for 1 room for one night, I would never pay that much on any normal day but I was told that I could not get a refund and other places they could offer me were even more expensive. I ended up paying in order to not loose my £184.99 this is not right, taking advantage of people who do not have money. If I could afford a room for £250 I could just buy direct.

Wowcher to Rome for 3 nights. DONT DO IT.

Bought a Wowcher to Rome for 3 nights. Had to redeem to get details of prime-holidays in London and to confirm my flight and hotel. The flights DIPIKA “tried to book” were via Poland. Unacceptable, give me a refund. They refused? Why when neither hotel nor flight had been booked. In the end went to bank to make a charge back or cancellation claim as neither Wowcher nor prime holidays will give refund.

However later thought about it and rang them back spoke to Sonica turns out for £30 extra and different dates I could infact fly direct to Rome on Ryanair and with a supplemental £40pp could stay at different hotel. In all I ended up paying £180 for a Ryanair flight I could have booked for £30 myself and a hotel which cost me half what I paid if I’d bothered to look on BOOKING.com

THEY ARE A TOTAL RIPOFF. Avoid these guys. They operate as Prime holidays but are infact PCT TRAVEL on Romford road. Everything is clever marketing.

Naples in 3 nights/4 days

Just been to Naples on a trip organised by these guys. Bought through Wowcher. Cheap and cheerful. We enjoyed every minute. The woman who took our booking (can’t recall her name unfortunately) deserves a medal for her patience working out our optimal travel arrangements. We paid for 4 nights in Naples but discovered we got more time in Naples if we only spent 3 nights but 4 whole days with better flight times at no extra cost. So we took that option and it was perfect. The hotel Napoli Gold was central and clean with a basic continental breakfast included which was all we needed. The staff were so kind and helpful. Anyone expecting more needs to be prepared to pay more.

AVOID PRIME HOLIDAYS

Bought a holiday through prime holidays, crap flight times, means losing a full day of the holiday! wanted extra money for better times but then hotels too far away from main attractions!
Asked for a refund (£927) but told no !
They give you 48 hours to redeem voucher but don’t contact you with the actual flight times until after this.
Has anyone got a refund from this company?
Avoid at all cost!

Was extremely skeptical but all went well

Had a look at the reviews and was completely put off but it was too late for me to turn back as I had already redeemed my voucher from Wowcher. Divya was my main contact and bless her she had to put up with my indecisiveness and major concerns however she reassured me that all will go accordingly. Due to my lack of trust in the company she gave me better flight times with no extra charge. I was afraid it wasn’t legit and I was going to encounter issues but I encountered no issue on Prime Holidays part, everything went accordingly. My issue is with easyJet and their ridiculous requirements for underseat baggage, I had to pay almost £100 extra because my very mini suitcase was “too big”. Overall Prime Holidays done their thing-thank you Divya for your time and patience.

Scam through and through

We bough a 3 night voucher through wowcher. When prime holidays got in touch they did not meet any of the criteria promised in regards to the hotel and minimum time in the country. They then asked if we can change the country we were visiting as they didn't have the availability... When asked to meet this criteria they said they would call back... 2 weeks later and they have not been in contact and I am unable to get in contact with them - phone lines just ring through... Would strongly advise not to book with this company as we have spent a lot of money and are stressed we will not receive the holiday

Absolute conmen

Absolute conmen, we brought holiday voucher off wowcher without checking reviews of prime, all the other reviews are true. The holiday for three days in budapest flew from Manchester to Amsterdam first and again on the way home, they forget to tell you that when buying the voucher, would have took over 6hours to get here, check the small print they said. They charged us an extra 90 each for direct flights and then changed the hotel from the 4star la prima fashion to the 3star triple m hotel which turns out to be in the rough district 8 area where we are not afmdvised to walk around after dark and have to taxi everywhere, police cars are up and down outside at all hours, prime holidays are rip off merchants working in conjuction with wowcher who don't believe in customer care or repeat custom. We holiday a few times a year but will never buy from wowcher or prime holidays again and advise anyone else not too, as the old saying goes if it seems to good to be true it is, I now look forward to primes generic reply email

Inept company Avoid at all cost!

We purchased a weekend away with Wowcher and when we tried to book we were advise that they only fly from Luton yet the Wowcher stated Gatwick!
We were charged an extra £190 for both of us and had to change the dates we wanted to travel! When we rang the company we were either cut off or left until it rang off , when we did manage to speak to someone it was extremely hard just trying to get them to understand that Luton is over 2 hours away from us and we want to travel from Gatwick. Then when we tried to check-in online the booking references didn't match what they gave us then when I rang Wizz air I got an extremely rude man who kept saying "what" and then he said that he couldn't help because Prime had apparently given them the wrong email and telephone number! What next? We've not even managed to book in with Wizz and can't get through to Prime ! NEVER NEVER AGAIN will we book through this shoddy inept company! The funny thing is they ask for a good review on here(Trust pilot)
