Booked a trip to krakow through Wowcher, they mislead you by telling you it’s a central stay and then once you have paid you are suprised with multiple connecting flights and hotels nowhere near the city centre unless you pay more money.

Then to top it all off, they don’t give you any information about your flight, and don’t reply to emails or answer the phone. Con men. They need sorting out.

DO NOT USE PRIME HOLIDAYS

DO NOT USE PRIME HOLIDAYS!

I booked a trip to Rome through wowcher for my partners Christmas present back in November. We are due to fly out mid Feb. To start with I was told I would be contacted within 24 hours with details of the booking, I heard nothing. I contacted wowcher and was told they would be in contact with prime holidays and I should hear from them soon. I still didn’t so ended up having to call them repeatedly until they decided to answer. They gave me awful flights which would have only given us 1 day in Rome for a 3 day trip. I told them this was not what I expected and they offered me better flights but at a cost of £80. I paid this as I was told I could not get a refund. I had been so stressed at this point that I had been scammed just by the way they had treated me. I was right to think this. I have since then been lied to about the distance from the airport to the hotel and the price of a transfer. I then looked at reviews of the hotel they provided which they told me was 4*, and most of the reviews talk about staff stealing from the people staying there. Nothing about it sounded 4* to me, and it was in the middle of nowhere and would cost roughly €50 a day just to get in the centre of Rome. I was appalled. I rang Prime holidays immediately asked if I can get a refund for the hotel, and if not (as I had lost all hope of getting any money back at this point) I just wanted them to confirm I would not be charged for not showing up to the hotel and I would book elsewhere myself. They could not answer this simple question and told me they would call me back the next day, same time. It got to 2 hours past that time the next day so I called them back as they clearly had no intention of calling me back. They still could not answer this question and told me they would call me back the next day- I told them I did not have hope for this as they have never stuck to this, but I was ensured but the man on the phone that o would and that he was working the next day and would make sure of it. So I agreed and waited. It got to an hour before they closed the next day and still no call… I couldn’t believe it at this point and was beyond angry. I called them and was put on hold for 40 plus minutes. I was then told a manager would call me in 10 minutes when they were out of their ‘meeting’. I reluctantly agreed. 5 minutes later I had a pathetic email saying there was nothing they could do to help me and I would not get any money back. They said I could upgrade my hotel at an additional fee of course. I rang them back immediately, they ignored all of my almost 20 calls, but as soon as I rang off my sisters phone, they answered. Proving they were ignoring me. I was fuming and told them I wanted nothing but a refund. I was supposedly speaking to a manager but he was no help in the slightest. I told him the whole story and all he had to say was ‘I will not hang up on you’ and ‘I need to go and listen to the calls and investigate this. I will call you back within 24 hours’. I mean isn’t not hanging up on a customer just the bare minimum of customer service?!?!? I got the man to confirm with me multiple times that I would get a call back and not an email and that it would be within 24 hours. This was confirmed to me many times. This call was on Thursday. It is now Monday and I have heard absolutely nothing… am I surprised. I will be calling them today. Have no hope to even get an swear let alone for an answer to my simple question. Its so ridiculous! How can a company still be running like this. I would 100% give no stars if that was an option. This trip which was supposed to be exciting and happy, has just become a nightmare which neither me nor my partner want to go on now as it has caused so much stress and ended up costing a fortune for 3 days in Rome.

I purchased a Wowcher holiday to…

I purchased a Wowcher holiday to Amsterdam from London, I finally got through to someone. I was sent all the information for which hotels and flight routes I wished to take and that was the first red flag. High cost extra charges to be able to fly direct. They except me to fly with this route
Option 1-
Outbound Flight
London Stansted to Dublin
07th Mar 2024
11:15- 12:35

Dublin to Eindhoven
07th Mar 2024
17:55- 20:35

Inbound Flight
Eindhoven to Dublin
09th Mar 2024
12:35- 13:20

Dublin to London Stansted
09th Mar 2024
19:50- 21:10 to the amsterdam? Right 🤔🤔

When is refuse to take this option , they charge me 80 paund extra , then evently change the date and everything still charge me 55 paund each do not booked with wowcher either with this company, it comes cheaper when you booked it your self ...

Don't book with these conmen

Bought a deal from Wowcher for two nights in Krakow. When I eventually heard from them I was offered flights that transfered in Germany at night. I had to pay an extra £75 to get direct flights. When I later checked Skyscanner, the same flight was less than £50. Also they assured me that the hotel they offered was suitable for poor mobility but on further research, it had terrible reviews and no disabled facilities. I'm still waiting after two months for them to get back to me with a different hotel. Wowcher should be ashamed of using this company

THIS IS THE WORST TRAVEL AGENT I'VE…

THIS IS THE WORST TRAVEL AGENT I'VE EVER USED. I BELIEVE ALOT OF THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE REVIEWS, DON'T BOOK WITH THIS TRAVEL AGENT.
LET ME EXPLAIN WHY:

I booked with Prime Holiday Flight Company through wowcher and myexperience with your company has left me dissatisfied and frustrated.

Firstly, the booking process was far from smooth, the orginal price that i was quoted on wocher ended up bieng twice as much when i went to them directly, The lack of transparency regarding additional fees and charges only added to the confusion.
On top of that they were not helpful at all and customer service I encountered was subpar at best. I reached out to the helpline with a simple query, but the Chris who I spoke to seemed disinterested and unhelpful. It was evident that they lacked the necessary knowledge and training to assist customers effectively. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially when im trying to book a holiday, there focus was just to take my money and not help at all.

i wasnt able to make the dates i orginally asked for once i'd booked the flight a week later due to unforseen circumstances, so iasked them to help me change the dates and they agreed to do that, but didnt after speaking to them they didnt send me a confirmed details. I then called them again and no answer and now this is 3 months in after the last time i spoke to them and i been emailing and phoneing and no response. Hence why im writing on here. Prime Holiday Flight Company fell short of my expectations. As a customer, I believe it is essential to bring such issues to your attention in the hope that improvements can be made.
I spoken to citizens adivce and currently on the way to taking you guys to court for this matter and unless you can refund my money and contact me by next week 31.01.24 i will be pushing this matter further.
I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Terrible Company!

I am compelled to share my disappointing experience with Wowcher and their affiliated travel company, Prime Travel. I purchased a Wowcher for a surprise trip to Budapest, initially promising, but it turned into a nightmare.

Prime Holidays, the travel operator, demanded additional payment unexpectedly, threatening cancellation if not complied with. Expressing dissatisfaction via email and phone calls went unanswered. A threatening email two days before Christmas added to the distress.

This amounts to mis-selling, with the initial offer not disclosing subsequent demands for extra payments. Wowcher's response through email and WhatsApp was unprofessional, dismissing my concerns and refusing a refund.

A simple online search revealed numerous complaints about Prime Holidays, questioning their reliability. Despite being protected by ATOL, my complaint to Wowcher highlighted the limitations of this protection, only applying in case of liquidation.

Discovering that Prime Holidays' website terms were copied from another site raised questions about their integrity and transparency. (Note: Reported to ActionFraud and authorities.)

This experience has been frustrating, and I feel it's essential to report such practices. I've reported this to ActionFraud and relevant authorities to ensure consumer protection.

I booked a Wowcher deal for my mum and I, and are due to go next Monday (one week today) and the level of service from prime holidays has been utterly disgraceful. Deepika has no customer skills and has been rude at times where it’s made me lose my temper on the phone. I have tried multiple times to call and email, and was waiting for a call back within 48hrs and it’s been almost 2 weeks. I need a surname change, which they know, and STILL I’ve heard nothing. I changed our flights and hotel and what was meant to be a ‘deal,’ has turned in to a small fortune, just to be left in the dark and spoken badly to! Totally unprofessional, and should be closed down!

We got there in the end!

Had a not so good start but they have redeemed them selves by communicating effectively and keeping me as customer happy from me telling them how I feel about my experience. I am a happy customer, I have a holiday I am looking forward to it, they have been empathetic in contributing towards my holiday.. Communication works on both sides. Thank you prime. Hopefully your service continues well

Avoid

Avoid!
It’s really not worth the stress and anxiety

I purchased two separate holidays and had two stressful experiences.

One to paris one to budapest.

Both holidays I had tried to contact at a minimum of 200 times by phone and also numerous emails

When on the rare occasions to e phone was answered I was fobbed off and told someone would call me back or try again another time.

I was never called back at all, this was all over an 8 week period.

When I refused to hang up and stayed on the line one time I was put through to an advisor
The flights for the date booked I was told were not available.

The flights given had a 36 hour each way trip! As an alternative route!
Manchester- paris where we booked should have been an hours flight instead they wanted to send us to London to dublin to france lue then to paris with long stay overs

With the travel time we would have had less thet 24 of a 3 day trip booked.

So we ended up booking our own direct flights and just used the hotel part of the trip.

When we arrived at the hotel we were advised the hotel hadn’t been paid for yet and we ended up having to pay for the hotel ourselves so that we had accommodation and were told to claim it back

We have yet to get this resolved

And the second holiday we have been trying 8 weeks to get it booked in

When speaking to wowcher by whtsapp as that or email is the only way to speak to customer services they have offered a credit for the second holiday not taken but it hasn’t been issued and I’ve now been told i’ve been given wrong information and I can’t get a wowcher credit towards another holiday

All in all it has been by far the worst holiday experience and more stressful than the cheap holiday was worth.

SCAMMERS!!

SCAMMERS!!! Need I say more?
Been trying to get into contact for months. No answer, no reply. When I finally did, I was spoken to horrendously and told I would receive an email. Let's see if anyone can guess if I did....... OF COURSE NOT. They lied and said they were upgrading us as we had to pay extra to change the flights they originally gave us (the orginal flights meant we only had 48 hours in our chosen city, when we paid for 5 days and 4 nights). No upgrade has been given... Also are flying us into a city that is 2 hours away! Told us it was fine, we could get a train, which I accepted. Guess what, there aren't any trains so we're expected to pay €120 euros there and €120 back in cabs. We're meant to be flying in less than 4 weeks. What do I even do in this situation?

Rip Off

This company is an absolute disgrace. I booked a woucher deal then couldn't go, so tried to change the name on the travel documents. The name change cost more than the deal. They charged me an extra £196 on top of the deal to change the flights from Luton to Gatwick. Stay well clear of wowcher deals if I where you. Disgrace Disgrace Disgrace. Should be struck off all travel agent traders.
