Avoid using this company

Avoid using this company.
We purchased vouchers via Wowcher for a short 2 night break and on purchase and payment we received voucher codes which are then redeemed with Prime Holidays, who provides the trip. The trip purchased was for flights and accommodation.
Feeling happy with the thought of a much needed short break we redeemed the vouchers and received a notification that we would receive an email with flight and accommodation options.
When the email arrived we were shocked to discover that prime holidays not only added an administrative fees per person they also added additional costs for the flights which over doubled the amount per person we had already paid.
The alternative to this was accommodation located over a 2 hours drive from the airport, obviously transfers are not included.
Despite numerous phone calls and discussions with prime holidays they refuse to provide a refund blaming wowcher for misleading information despite it stating on wowcher that once redeemed prime holidays are responsible.
Further alternative options since provided, suggested as a good will gesture by them, has added additional costs that almost triple the per person cost.

These additional charges are not indicated at the time of purchase and it's not until you redeem the vouchers do you find they apply all these unrealistic additional fees, but buy this time it's too late...they've got you.

I've since read reviews where others have also been upsold flights and accommodation which have over doubled the price per person of the original price paid.

So if you are thinking about a much needed break and look at purchasing wowcher vouchers or anything that links to using Prime Holidays as a travel provider....please rethink and avoid at all costs. Save your money and pay that little bit more by using a travel provider that isn't set out to ripping people off.

🔕🔕🔕Scam

🔕🔕🔕Scam! Avoid at all costs!🔕🔕🔕Bought a holiday to Amsterdam for 3 nights, redeemed voucher and was offered 3 options from Prime Holidays. Option 1 is to an airport 2 hours away and a return flight where we would have to fly to Germany, then back to Manchester. Option 2 with direct flights, but hotel is miles away from town centre and cost £69 extra pp. opt 3 direct flight, hotel miles away but it’s extra £89 pp. it’s disgusting, nothing more than con artists. After calling and messaging over 3 days now we still haven’t got this resolved.
The well known voucher company have denied responsibility and Prime Holidays will not issue a refund. Please do not use this company EVER! I will post on here every day until something is done about these companies, or until the people are aware of what they are doing. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES!

SCAM!!!

SCAM! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Do not use! Brought a wowcher for a holiday and this was the travel agent. Their contact numbers and emails are constantly flagged as a scam, their emails have multiple spelling and grammatical errors, asking for more money for something that was a set price. Harassing calls, DO NOT USE. People who work there get yourself a real job and stop scamming people.

Scammers Holiday deal advertised does not exist

I have not been anywhere for 10 years as am disabled and very ill. I bought a 2 night break to Portugal for myself, my carer and kids 1 being a 1 year old. I paid for 7 of this deal and when I got an email with the options they were asking for £119 more per person. The deal I have bought they later confirmed does not exist. I asked for my money back and still no refund has been given and they are asking me to go to wowcher for my money back. When I contact wowcher they are telling me to contact prime holiday to sort it out. To think that there is a company with no morals out there scamming people like this including vulnerable disabled people is unbelievable. The holiday they have advertised does not exit, it’s all a scam. I have contacted rip off Britain and the news online to share my story how I ended up in hospital because of anxiety and stress this has caused me

Awful experience!

Awful experience, booked the flight and hotel package on Wowcher for specific dates. Once I got the codes to send to prime holidays they said there was no availability for the dates I selected (which I paid £340 for!) and then suggested other dates but then wanted an additional £300! Avoid avoid avoid!

Very disappointed and upset

Very disappointed and upset. Booked a ‘discounted’ 3 night city break. Redeemed voucher then was offered alternative month of travel, inferior apartment or out of centre hotel, and flights with a long stopover. When trying to get what the voucher stated, was given surcharges of £100 extra each, and still not getting what I’d booked. I can book the flights and hotels for £200 less than the price they want to charge. Requested refund and they are ignoring me. Terrible customer service.

Terrible experience in Rome

Terrible experience in Rome , bought a voucher from Wowcher , redeemed it to only find there was split flights and the hotel advertised was not available abc I only get 48 hours to redeem . What a rip off , the hotel was horrendous and know where near any attractions . The tube was awful and felt vulnerable walking around the area of hotel .
Streets were disgusting so with everything combined we got an early flight home . They added a further £108 onto our flight total so we went ahead as by that time we’d already redeemed the voucher . Little did we know how bad the hotel would be . Avoid avoid !!

5pm.co.uk HIDEN COSTS

My husband bought x2 2 night trips to Amsterdam as a gift for Xmas on 5pm.co.uk, says in the emails prime holiday would be in touch within 48 hours of purchase. They were not. I had to chase them. After several calls now added £140 onto of the original £440 voucher cost for suitable flights. Offered me indirect flights via Munich for the voucher cost at ridiculous times. SCAM. Would have been cheaper and ALOT EASIER booking via a reputable company. Avoid

Apauling company scamming, stay away

Apauling company, purchased voucher via woucher, for two tickets for two night stay in Amsterdam. The flight destination is two hours away from Amsterdam. The total time between arriving and leaving is only 39 hours, that don't include all the time traveling between the airports.Upon looking I can see the flight for the first option don't even seem to exist. From looking online an appallingly high number of people have the exact same issue. The first option contains fake flights, they pressure you into upgrading. Greatly misleading customers into often times paying more than if they booked it separately.very fraudulent showing you fake times in order to pressure to into paying their extortionately prices to upgrade. I could go on but if you research prime holidays scam deals then you'll see what you need to know to stay far away from this company

Absolutely appalling

Had to argue with them to change the flight dates and got a lesser hotel to begin with. Then our flight set off from Rome with with and had to be returned I’ve given all the information and evidence with receipts To Prime Holidays and all they came back with was with there have said that your flight boarded. Yes it did and took off but returned back. We were told we would get €250 compensation and the cost of hotel and flights and food extractor by Wizz Air. This had to be done through the original booking agent who are clearly ignoring my emails now I’m out nearly £1000 avoid this company or costs.

3 Nights Cheap City Break £1,000? 21/12/24

Prime Holidays were advertising City Breaks to Amsterdam through WOWCHER with up to 57% off, so I purchased 2 vouchers at £235 each. On redemption the flight details were confirmed as an indirect flight from Manchester to Orlando, Florida with a 6hr lay-over then on to Amsterdam. I then asked if I could cancel my Vouchers, as this diversion was ridiculous. I was told I couldn't cancel because the Vouchers had been redeemed. I had no other option than to pay an extra £158 to have a direct flying out the following day.

Unfortunately this date didn't suit my cousin, so I requested a date change and Prime Holidays then wanted me to pay an extra £470 to change the date to 27th February 2025. This was so expensive for a 3 night flight and Hotel Room Only, so I then asked if I could change the booking from my Cousins name to another guest. They then wanted to charge £134 each way for a name change.

At this point I looked at what the prices were for the 3 nights in the Hotel directly, which included breakfast it was £105 for the 3 nights and the exact same flights were £172 each. £449 in Total!

We have made the decision not to go with Prime Holidays as they have deceived and advertised falsely and cannot be trusted. We have lost over £600 already and don't want to lose any more money to this company! Avoid, I have spent hours trying to reason with them, but they won't budge or cooperate, customer service at it's worst!

What a shower of shit company

What a shower of shit company to deal with, unhelpful in resolving any problems, they will gladly charge you more money to resolve the problems they create in false advertising.
Flights with Hotels 200+ miles away.
"Paul" will happily upgrade you with "better" flights to the Airport at the location of the hotel for £140.
Will not issue a refund when you complain about the issue.
They don't ask you for your passenger details for the flights they have already misled you with, total con artists who prey on the contents of your wallet.
Be warned, do NOT purchase anything from these digital highwaymen.

Holiday that doesn’t exist…

I booked a holiday through Wowcher and was directed to Prime Holidays to redeem the voucher. I purchased a 3-night trip (11th-14th December), incurring an extra £138. However, upon checking in I discovered the flights booked were for 13th-14th December, leaving us with less than 24 hours in destination.

Despite multiple attempts, initially Prime Holidays failed to respond to my calls and emails. I contacted the airline, who confirmed the flight was rescheduled in September and they had communicated this to Prime Holidays then. This information was not communicated to me by Prime Holidays (who told me via the telephone that they had only just found out too - except they had been informed in September).

UPDATE - During a phone call, a Prime Holidays representative pressured me to remove this review in exchange for a refund. I refused. However, as I have now received the refund, despite the initial pressure, I have edited it as such for transparency.

I wish I had read other reviews before making my booking.

Scam Company - Do not book with them

I've bought vouchers for a short break for my parents for a christmas break. I am trying to contact the company including calling 2 different contact numbers for them in the last 24 hours 14 times with no answer. I have also emailed separate contact email addresses. I have had no response. This is clearly a scam company.

Do not book with this company

Do not book with this company, either direct or via wowcher.
Disgraceful and very unprofessional service. They do not respond to emails or telephone calls if you have a problem or query.
I'm surprised that they are allowed to trade through wowcher given the number of bad reviews from customers. Stay well away!

Disgraceful fraudulent company …

I really wish I had read the other reviews before booking a holiday with what can only be described as a completely fraudulent company. Prime Holidays employees are pushy, unhelpful and without values! As others have said if I could give a 0 rating I would. I have lost over £550 on what should have been a lovely 3 day trip to Venice. Instead my outbound flight was changed to after my return flight was meant to take off! However Prime did not inform me - I found out when I tried to check in, could not reach them until the evening then got bullied in to changing from Manchester to Stansted (which afterwards I realised in the time I had to get there wasn't possible!) I've lost not only my money with Prime who are refusing a refund but also the Manchester hotel accommodation & airport parking costs were lost. Wowcher seriously stop working with this business they are con artists & it reflects badly on you! I will not use Wowcher again that's for sure based on this experience!

Horrific experience!

What an awful experience with Prime holidays. Booked for Venice, Started off had to pay extra so we had direct flights. Our flight home got cancelled 4 days before we were meant to depart, easyjet said prime had cancelled it. Tried to call 100 plus times, they fobbed me off, if I was lucky enough for them to answer, told me a manager would call me to sort it. Obviously noone called. So had to spend another £200 for flights home. Ruined what should of been a nice 4 nights away for my birthday. Never again, bad on wowcher for selling these holidays when they know everyone is getting ripped off.

Avoid this scam of a company!

Avoid this scam of a company!
Bought a weekend break to krakow with Auscwitiz tour included.

1st conveniently we had to pay extra as the flights were poor times (worked out 1 day there) and then it was flying into a airport 2 hrs away!

Then on the day of the tour, no one arrived to pick us and another couple up!
Despite having a email and WhatsApp confirmation that it was pick up at 1pm (we’d been there since 12.20ish)

When called they tried to claim we weren’t there and driver went, then they changed their minds and said, pick up was 11am and you were called and told (no call to us or the other couple was made)

Back in uk and trying to raise a complaint , they just ignore you then finally got a WhatsApp back saying here’s proof Kramer direct/prime holidays called you and you told them you were back in the uk !!

Said I have card receipts I was still in krakow on that day and that the number they called wasn’t me and I even messaged the number and the lady kindly confirmed she was called not me!

Will never ever deal with Wowcher or prime holidays again and will not let this go
