Been working for these guys for 3 weeks and they are literally refusing to pay me for work that I've already done because my reference hasn't cleared. I'm pretty sure that's not legal.
Feel like a bit of a tool getting up at 6am to go to a job I'm not being paid for, especially since I took this position on extremely short notice because it's a position they needed to fill urgently. And this is how they thank me. Avoid this company at all cost.
What a horrible company, got a offer from this company at Desford, Leicester was called to a assessment which was fine, after heard nothing. You can't contact anybody unless its the head office which is useless no reply to emails or phone calls. Waste of time do not go with this agency.
I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience with Randstad UK, especially with Robert Davies.
From the very first day Robert reached out to me, he was incredibly helpful, supportive and always available whenever I had a question. What really stood out to me was that he went above and beyond his role as a recruiter. He genuinely guided me through the process, almost like a mentor, sharing useful materials and giving me advice on how to prepare for the interview. It made a huge difference and helped me feel much more confident throughout the process.
I had been looking for a job for quite a while and had spoken to several recruiters along the way, so I have plenty of experience to compare. Honestly, my experience with Robert and Randstad has been by far the best. The communication, professionalism, support and personal attention were outstanding from start to finish. I never felt like just another candidate, and I really appreciated how much effort Robert put into helping me.
Finding a job can be stressful and sometimes quite discouraging, but Robert made the whole experience so much easier and more positive. It’s rare to come across someone who is genuinely invested in helping people succeed, and I’m really grateful for all his support.
I would highly recommend Randstad UK to anyone looking for a new opportunity. If you’re lucky enough to work with Robert Davies, you’ll be in very good hands!
Thank you, Robert, and thank you, Randstad, for such a fantastic experience!
Will never stop contacting you.
While I was studying, randstad sent me emails and texts multiple times a week even though I already had a support session booked weekly. My mentor actually had to contact them to ask them to stop messaging me. They continued.
Honestly they’re worse than scam callers. I thought that after I finished studying they would stop contacting me all the time- nope! I replied to their first few messages about continuing studying and let them know I’m not studying (they seem not to understand that people graduate). They have continued contacting me regardless.
Do not give them your contact details, you will never hear the end of it!
Shahir is amazing and a credit to the agency! Eaman
They have been heavily ableist towards Support and staff don't even fullfil their policy duty, service has been atrocious.
Called Randstad SWS and got hung up on after laughing on the phone.
What sort of crap service are you guys running here?
Vijaya was incredibly helpful throughout the entire application process.
Like many others, I was ghosted by Randstad.
Initially, I was contacted twice (by two different agents) to say I had been selected for some short-term contract work.
I uploaded all the required certs and info, on the candidate portal. I supplied referees, and references were collected (I'm certain there was nothing negative here).
Meanwhile, Randstad simply stopped communicating with me. I got in touch with Randstad to find out what had gone wrong, but was not given a satisfactory answer - only an extremely generic message, no doubt sent to everyone, about how my details would be kept on their files. The response had no relevance to me or my situation.
I’ve had a great profesional experience with Vijaia . Thank you very much for your support.
After retiring from a full-time permanent post, I have been working for Randstad for the past 4 years. I have always been given plenty of work within my preferable age range in the primary sector. The staff have always been professional, accommodating, informative and friendly in every respect. I would certainly recommend Randstad as a reliable company.
Great experience with Jennifer Oakman, the Principal Consultant at Randstad Accountancy & Finance. I have been contacted by Jenny regarding an Accounts Manager position for a company in Construction Industry. Following the phone call I was so impressed on how Jenny matched so well the requirements/job description of the Part Time position available with my work experience/CV. Jenny is a people's person, with a talent for reading the candidate's personality and a very positive energy when talking about the job available. Randstad have a professional manner in dealing with the potential candidates for new positions, sending all the relevant emails to join their platform and checking the right to work in UK. Jennifer found the perfect Part Time job match for me, sending me all the details for the position, and forwarding my CV to the potential employer. I was selected to be one of the candidates to participate on the telephone interview. Before the telephone interview Jenny kept me updated with the preparations for the interview, and also called to give me extra advice. The carrier support and the advice from Jenny was excellent. Recruitment can be very frustrating, but in this case I felt supported, encouraged, valued and respected at all times in the process. Not to mention that at no point I was ghosted, but kept updated at all times in the process. Thank you for the positive experience Jennifer Oakman. Much appreciated.
My experience was really positive with Randstad, Vijaya communicated with me really well and always got back to me quickly. She was really informative and happy to answer any additional questions I had. She helped me succeed in my application and was really friendly!
Applied for a senior job advertised online. No response other than the automated LinkedIn message acknowledging application receipt. Followed up with an in mail to the named recruiter. Ghosted again. A strange way to treat senior candidates who may be customers in the future.
Great company, but I find some things difficult to place an order.
I recently dealt with Randstad Enterprise regarding a position for a major manufacturer, and I am very disappointed with the lack of professional management and attention to detail from the team involved.
The administrative handling of my account was consistently inaccurate. The first agent (Agent A) initially misstated my specific contractor job title. Following this, the second agent (Agent M) attached an entirely wrong Job Description (JD) to the agenda for my meeting with the company. For a global recruitment agency, such basic errors regarding job titles and contract details are unprofessional and create an unnecessary lack of trust.
Furthermore, the communication was poorly coordinated. For our initial introductory call, Agent A stopped replying during our scheduling process but then called me unexpectedly without any prior agreement and drilled me about my ability without providing any details about the position. When the client company later requested a call, Agent M, not Agent A, contacted me without any explanation. When I asked Agent M to have Agent A call me to provide further information that was not covered during the previous call, Agent M blocked the contact and provided inaccurate information regarding Agent A’s availability.
Due to this unreliability, I had no option but to cancel the scheduled call with the company. Basic client management and administrative accuracy seem to be severely lacking. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve their standards.
My experience with Randstad UK was brilliant!
Detailed explanation of the role and requirements, excellent service and communication from the team and prompt, precise feedback.
