Applied for a role at JLR quickly was asked to complete an online test .i was invited for an online interview a few days later. I signed into the teams/zoom meeting and placed in a waiting room. Despite being told to be online promptly for the interview, I sat and waited with no answer. I then recieved a phone call stating I had been booked incorrectly as the original agent was actually off. The person on the phone however advised they would call me to complete the interview later that day. After the phone interview was completed, I was asked to complete a dexterity test in a test centre. (This was a great experience). After the dexterity test we were told the results would be Recieved in the next few days, with those who pass being invited to interview at the intended workplace.
I was advised of passing the tests, and would receive a call to arrange the face to face interview/drug and alcohol tests etc. I missed a call and called the number back. The answerphone did not state who you were calling, and I left a message asking for a call back, I Recieved no further call. I called a few day later and got through to an agent who advised I had been called ‘numerous times’ and was not answer and therefore missed the interview allocation and would need to wait for the next intake date. I asked if they could leave a voicemail message if I was unable to answer as I work and usually facilitate sessions so unable to answer my phone during these times. I was told ‘ I suggest you answer your phone when it rings’. A month went by and I Received an email asking me to attend an interview scheduled for a Saturday. I attended the interview after arranging childcare on the Saturday . I arrived early for the appointment. On arriving I found the visitor car park closed, and the reception not open. Thinking it was maybe because I arrived early I waited. 10 minutes before the interview I spoke to a member of security who advised reception was not open and was unaware of any interviews. She spoke to someone on her radio and informed that on occasion interviews did take place on Saturday especially if there was a big intake. My understanding/impression was that this was a large intake, so I continued to wait. By the interview time no one had arrived. However as I know the road work can cause traffic issues waited a further 30mins yes- still no one. I called your number and left voicemail messages asking what I needed to do- no reply to them, I also sent emails. I Recieved a response to my email on the Monday stating it was passed to the team, and then a further email stating they did not send an email to me asking for me to attend an interview, I was asked to send proof, which I did. No further contact has been made with me, other than I just need to wait for an interview date. I have since sent a further email asking for an update on my application…. Again advised it was passed on to the team and had no further contact. I applied for the role in June, people who applied around the same time as me for the same role and the drivers role have started.
An exciting career change has been affected by poor customer service and appears you focus more on the number of people you can get to fill a role rather than seeing this as an inspiring opportunity for those looking at new roles.

I was contacted by this agency for a managers role which I was more than qualified to do. I done the onboarding and was offered the role. Given the start date and was told I would be emailed the information, no site location and site contact details were given . Emailed and called many times but no reply , this company is a joke , stay clear, all they want is your info , do not use .
I was contacted by Randstad after leaving this review and they asked me to forward all correspondence to them to look into , this is the email address they gave me but cannot send because my computer says it’s an invalid address, I’m not allowed to leave an email address on here but be aware people

I'll try to keep this brief.
I have quite a lot of experience working with agencies.
I registered with Randstad Education about 1–2 years ago. After a registration process that went on for months, I never worked a single day because they didn’t offer me any work at all. I had actually forgotten I was even registered with them because I'm signed up with other agencies as well.
This September, I saw a teaching job in Liverpool advertised by Randstad, and when I went to apply, they told me I had to register again because a year had passed, and since I never worked for them, I had to start the whole process all over from the beginning.
By the time I finished registering at the end of September, that job had already been filled, and now, in early November, they still haven’t called me to work even one day.
Don’t waste your time registering here if you actually want to work.
Special mention to Sean, my consultant, he doesn’t do any work at all, but at least he’s funny.

Randstad have 0 understanding or capability to be responsible for disabled students through DSA. Relentless repetitive emails, allocating random sessions in mass without correspondence. Today received three emails in 30 mins AND A PHONE CALL from Rashi regarding timesheets from sessions I had yesterday and today. This is unprofessional and frankly ridiculous.
The support workers I work with are great. I have no complaints about them as they understand how to work with disabled students, but the admin team needs to sort itself out. I have sent a complaint to their student support team with no reply.

I suspect this company of gathering people's data for god knows what. They contact people out of the blue without them being registered. If people complain on this site, they respond with generic answers, like contact our customer service team. People are on here complaining becasue they had no action on customer services, which they have most certainly tried already. My recommendation is to avoid. Now, let's see what the reply will be this time.

I reached out to Randstad a week ago with a clear, well-structured enquiry about temporary roles, attaching my CV and outlining my availability. As a Complaints Manager working at NHS Band 6 level, with two years of experience resolving complex cases and supporting multiple directorates, I had hoped for at least an acknowledgment or some guidance on next steps.
Unfortunately, I’ve received no response whatsoever, not even a courtesy reply. At a time when candidates are navigating uncertainty and seeking support, this lack of engagement feels dismissive and disheartening. I had genuinely hoped Randstad would be a proactive and professional agency, but my experience has left me with little faith in their ability to support public sector professionals.
I understand agencies are busy, but basic communication is not optional, it’s the foundation of trust. Based on this interaction, I would struggle to recommend Randstad to others seeking meaningful support during career transitions.

Applied to work in the care agency, everything was straight forward to begin with had my interview with an intern on his last day (first red flag!) who couldn’t answer all my questions about the company and told me to email Siobhan with any questions….. witch I did got no reply from her! About a week and a half after sending an email I gathered they changed their mind about employing me and just didn’t tell me, when I got a call from an ‘overseas’ worker - Sowmya - who was dealing with my sign up. (Kinda hard to do when your in different time zones) she told me the sign up would be quick and easy….. far from it 4 months it dragged out as she wouldn’t accept any of my references as they weren’t ‘proper emails’ (sent her 5 references 3 of witch weren’t bought domains and @gmail.com) I then told her after 4 months of every email being declined that both our time was being wasted here and I didn’t want to go forward for her then to tell me to send her more emails and my banking info. Totally unprofessional and incompetent. Avoid at all costs

Dont waste your time....started working for cotys bournemouth through randstad....emma bowker the person incharge of sorting everything for randstad couldn't run a bath with her amd all her cronies together.....in the induction she states this time of year til Xmas is 4/5 days a week with plenty of overtime...first week she gave me 3 shifts and said well see how you get on then after that I put my availability for 5 days a week and kept getting messed around she wants to give me 3 days again but offered me more when she got let down, she's sends someone to cover her weekly travel to bournemouth branch to deal with problems and questions .....so few people saw him then everyone gets a shitty email from emma stating of anyone has a problem go straight to her? ...by why email people saying your sending this person to do your job for you if he cant do your job? majority of the people that dont come back or leave is because she says things in the induction and the opposite happens when you start working.....she gave me 3 days ....I was ill on one of the days and in the induction she clearly stated if your ill aslong as you email or call before the shift thats all she asks.....so I was ill...I emailed her before the shft then get a shitty email back hours later saying you have not attended your shift, any sicknesses need to be recordered and sent to this chain email?.....well for 1 she stated in the induction just email no specifics? And how can I send it to this chain email if she's only sent it hours after I already emailed her saying I was ill?
...its a complete joke....and I put it all on her about all this rubbish and mess around that all comes back to her own doing.....multiple managers and supervisors told me so many people have problems because of emma and either leave or just dont say anything because they dont want to get fired or in trouble .....well I told her basically she's the problem and told her everything she said and either hasnt happened or was just a lie to get you through the door......she called me rude but considering she doesn't want to take accountability and responsibility for what's she's incharge of and if anyones rude its her lying to all the employees to get them through the door cos obviously she makes commission off people to pay for them big fake ass fake lips of hers.....

The worst job agency in the world.
I dealt with them in 3 different countries: Italy, Netherlands and Uk.
During an interview I even received illegal questions(according to the law).
I think that they just want your data to sell.
Lately I applied to a position in uk and one of their agent called me, about it, and since then they fill my email with their spam and I am not even registered to their useless site. But they never replied about the job.
👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
EDIT: why should I help you for free giving you advices? That is your job.

Just had a conversation with one of their agents very unprofessional trying to stir from job to job
Do not just just throw my cv from employer to employer is not how it works
Did not want to answer questions about the job i was asking questions in stead trying to stir
Do not trust

Farcical - I had DSA support lined up requiring two different mentors…
They allocated my face to face to someone 250-300 miles away because it didn’t occur to the clown doing the matches that Lancashire and Hampshire are a long way from one another. When I raised my concern with the mentor they replied “LOL - just another routine mistake by the system” - it’s good to know that me being without support is worthy of ‘laughing out loud’.
The same day I was told that they couldn’t find a specialist mentor in the other role. This came after the office phoned me asking if I’d change my meeting method from face-to-face to online - despite the company saying that you can choose between face-to-face, hybrid or online.
A day later the office accept that they made a mistake in the initial allocation - only to then tell me that there is no mentor available for me in that role but they were hopeful one might become available at some point (but no guarantee).
But I was told that the other specialist had been found but not before impressing on me that she preferred hybrid meetings - so implying that my choice was an inconvenience.
Farcical is an understatement - I’ll be looking towards civil action as the distress and anxiety caused is off the scale - I’ve asked my DSA assessors to reallocate me to a new company. In done with Randstad - they are a dangerous liability who shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near people with disabilities.
I’ve no interest in a bog standard apology - this needs to go a lot further

Working with Randstad has been a fantastic experience. Everything is punctual, structured, and well-organised, with clear guidance, follow-up messages, and helpful reminders about things like timesheets. I’ve been very impressed with how easy it is to work with them, and all the staff are incredibly supportive and helpful.
This was one of my best years working with an agency, and I would go back to Randstad in a heartbeat if I needed agency work again. I’ve now started a permanent role, which I’m really looking forward to, but Randstad gives you that reassuring feeling that there’s always support and opportunities available. I would highly recommend checking out their available roles!

Someone sent me a job post from Randstad as she knew the people who run the company, if she didn't know them I wouldn't thought Randstad was an identity theft scam.
I applied for a job through Randstad. I should've know it was going to be terrible from the first moment I tried to contact the recruiter. We scheduled in a call which didn't happen and I was very adaptable the first time. It happened twice after that, with an eventual call hours after we had arranged.
Then the process of applying happened and I heard nothing back, no confirmation of receipt, no answering my questions, even when I phoned the person was never available and "would contact you when she's free" -its been weeks.
I'm so glad I didn't provide references and possibly cause upheavel at my current job with how badly this was managed.

Robert Davies & Brooke Palmer helped me secure a new property management position. They were both so helpful & supportive. I mostly dealt with Brooke to begin with and then she asked Robert to step in to deal with the contracts / vetting process as she was going on annual leave. Great communication by phone and email and even a good luck text before my interview which was a really lovely touch. I would thoroughly recommend Randstad if you are looking to get a new job. They have made the process really smooth and as stress free as possible. Thank you Brooke & Robert!
