Already hold one bond with them, no problems. So opened another bond. Risk being mine, as they have >£120k of my money. After receipt of funding for the new bond, I received a letter by mail asking for more information. This left me feeling like a financial criminal, but reluctantly completed and returned their form…I had already invested time and effort opening this second bond. Blow me, I had assumed that was it, no, another letter arrives in the mail, they want MORE information. Too laborious (and nosy) for me, never had to endure this with any other bank, including for higher investments. Have now requested a refund by telephone, no-one available who could discuss my position, had no choice but to leave a message to be passed on, just hoping I will receive my rightful monies without unnecessary delay.

Now via TrustPilot RCI are asking for my contact details… this really shouldn't be necessary. You have my details and I am awaiting my refund.

One of the best interest. My cash ISA were transferred very smoothly in a week time. But for my wife cash ISA transfer it took about a month after several messages to both banks unfortunately. Mixed feelings.

Opening a new account was simple and efficient. I wasn't sure where to find my linked account and I got a quick and polite response from the Help advisor with the relevant information.

Opened a 2 year fixed rate ISA, the rate was very competitive and the process straightforward. Paying money into the account and transferring an ISA from another provider was straightforward. A bit confusing being allocated 2 reference numbers but communication was excellent from RCI Bank

Set up a 2 year bond. Great rate, easy and quick to set up and the best thing, that lots of banks don't do, is a brief email confirming the arrival of each deposit. Neat website too.

Easy enough to open but came unstuck when logging in as husband also opened account and as we only have one iPad/telephone it became obvious that only one of us could use the App. Got around it by logging on via website just a bit long winded. Excellent isa rate.

I have been very impressed with RCI bank and the savings plan I have opened was exactly what I wanted and was easy to open. It is also feels very secure and getting a message to confirm deposits adds an extra layer of confidence. It is also great to ring up and get to speak to a human being straightaway and not left in a queue .

I'm still no clearer about why I have two 'account reference numbers' but have at least managed to deposit some money. The feedback to emailed queries is quite slow but once I'd got the information I needed it was seemless - and I do think the level of security for logging in is good

Setting up the account was easy but I had difficulty in completing some transfers and was ably assisted by a very patient and helpful lady on the phone

Simple straightforward process to open accounts

I have Been saving with RCI Bank for over 10 yrs now. I have never had any problems and the transactions and account openings have always been easy and straightforward. Today, I have just opened a new 2 yr fixed ISA account and contacted RCI with a minor issue that I had with my holding bank. Emma very patiently guided me through the transaction from start to finish and stayed on the phone with me until it was completed. Excellent service and customer satisfaction.

Never had any issues with them. Their security checks are good and the website is easy to navigate. When my Bonds have nearly reached maturity they've offered very good rates to stick with them, unlike others that have assumed I'd stick with them even with very reduced interest rates.
