original delivery date Dec 4 to 15
The original delivery date was December 4th from a November 24th order we got a bit of snow like 3 in all of a sudden my new delivery date is the 15th of December there's no way to contact anybody at Amazon to find out what's going on also another order November 24th has a December 13th shipping date like what the hell just because I'm not a Prime member I'm thinking
Going downhill
I’ve had the worst experience with Amazon, and I’m done buying from them. It’s been over **30 days**, and I still haven’t received a refund for a laptop I purchased that was listed as *new* but was clearly *used*. The laptop had visible signs of wear, and after going through **seven different replacements**, every single one was refurbished. One had the **blue screen of death**, and another had a non-functional Wi-Fi adapter. Absolutely unacceptable for items sold as *new*.
To make matters worse, I was told Amazon didn’t receive the returned item, and then they claimed I sent back a different laptop entirely, which is blatantly false. I provided proof and even filed a report with the **Better Business Bureau**, but no action was taken to help me as a consumer. Instead, it feels like they’re protecting the business at all costs, leaving customers to deal with the mess.
Amazon’s customer service has completely gone downhill. They’re unhelpful, dismissive, and seem to care more about making excuses than resolving issues. If you’re thinking of buying expensive electronics from Amazon—don’t. Save yourself the headaches.
This experience has been exhausting and has shown me how little Amazon values its customers. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
Amazon non delivery and no refund allowed = theft.
The following is a message I sent to Eric Gales, Head of Amazon.ca and he has not acknowledged receipt of my account of troubles to investigate. Message was also sent to Amazon Help Line with no reply also.
The outcome I am expecting: A refund cheque in the mail.
(Since Amazon.ca states they cannot apply a refund online to my current active account)
Good morning Eric.
I recently was notified a package of 24/Ensure Clear mini cartons would be late then undeliverable. I was initially assured as expected, a refund.
While I was waiting for a refund I noticed I had an unused since 2012 Amazon.com account and thought that was a sitting duck for criminals.
So on Amazon Chat Live, I requested it be closed down but to make sure that my Amazon.ca account remains active
(because I see both US and Canadian accounts use the same email address as a User Name, just different passwords to access and that I was currently waiting for a delivery from Amazon.ca)
I was assured that if if non delivery occurred my refund was safely in the works.
What did the Amazon chat representative do? Yup unbeknownst on that chat/email... closed both accounts.
Next day: Apologies ensued; I was told to restart a new Amazon.ca account with the same email address just use a completely new password. I did this with success.
And I have the same BMO Debit/Credit Card as before on file.
The phone conversation temperature escalated as the Amazon.ca rep stated I cannot get a refund now. The amount is just over one hundred dollars CAD
I know you will agree that simply, non delivery of paid goods means a refund in full. If Amazon.ca cannot use my debit credit card a cheque must be issued and mailed to me.
Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.
Also you know no one now can determine if the case of product is still on it's way to me; just really late. This might be an easy solution... receive delivery of the goods?

incredibly frustrating experience
I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with Amazon. I ordered a Tissot PRX Watch (Order #701-7617479-3746617) on October 31, 2024, which was marked as delivered. However, I never received it. I followed Amazon's instructions to file a police report and provided them with all the required documentation, including the report number. Despite this, Amazon has refused to refund or replace the item.
I’ve been emailing and calling their customer service and account specialists for over a month, but I keep being told the same thing with no resolution. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I feel let down by Amazon's customer service
I had an account with Amazon for more…
I had an account with Amazon for more than 2 years. There was a time that I didn’t use it for about 4–5 months, after which I order an item and my account got locked instantly.Amazon locked my account and they keep asking me to name the items I ordered in the last three months in order to have access to it. I got all my login information, including my email and phone number, but to them that wasn’t enough. Now, I don’t know if the last item order has been cancelled or not, they keep telling me to call them Incase I see the money debited from my account. I see no point in doing that because they are still going to ask me about the items I ordered in the last three months even though I didn’t order anything. It’s really a horrible experience. I wish there was a 0 star rating, I won’t even hesitate to give them that.
Never had one wrong delivery
Look. I imagine working conditions are brutal. But I have to say, I have never ONCE received the wrong item. Never once. I order 3-4 things per week for years and years. It's so impressive. When I order elsewhere there are frequent mistakes or the courier cant figure out basic things like a buzzer. Amazon knows when they're doing.
Ongoing claim since July with no resolution
I have had an ongoing issue with Amazon ruing my brand new iPhone. I bought camera lenses protectors that ruined the camera. I was transferred everywhere. I sent them my iPhone receipt, proof of damage… you name it. The even sent me to external claims. No resolution whatsoever. No follow-up was made. It was the same generic replies.
They are still selling the faulty item. They just want people to give up because of the ridiculous runaround. Also pay attention to the items you receive, they are very often second hand. I would’ve at least appreciated a minimum of a 300$ gift card for ruining a 1500$ iPhone… loyal customer for years. Given them at least over 50000$…They can care less.
Amazon Canada Practices Censorship
On top of everything else Amazon Canada now practices censorship.
They still knowingly sell fake flash drives, hard drives, GPU's. They have chosen to refund the few to know how to catch it than stop the illegal sale on their site because they make so much money ripping people off. Now when you tell people that they take that down saying you have violated their guidelines, although it contained no profanity or vulgarity. Tell the truth, get taken down, with lingering threat should you ever do it again.
Frustrated customer
I like Amazon. I make a lot of purchases but the the only thing that really frustrates me is how long it takes to get my delivery. It seems to take forever and a lot of the drivers have a language problem. One time my delivery was sent to the wrong address. Hopefully this will improve in the future.
Get charged on returned order
Check the your order returns update on your account especially when you receive your refund but no return received or completed update, means still showing return request and return label that means you will gets email reminder ask to sent back the item, even you try call customer service but they still charge you for the item again. Big problem with the return centre recently.
No timely delivery anymore
Used to enjoy 2 day and sometimes overnight delivery with a Prime membership
No longer the case, last months order all given delivery dates from 2 weeks to 6 weeks out!!!
And now many have delivery fees.
Used to be great to order from but lots of other places with same delivery waits to order from now.
A TERRIBLE website and a scam.
A TERRIBLE website, most of the offers are scams where they will ship you no-name products that don’t function at all and then claim they are “name brand”. The shipping times are a lie, the reviews are regularly lies due to amazon letting people change the product AFTER getting a good review so for example I could sell a 10$ bill for 5$ and get 100 good reviews then change the entire product and description to something else, let’s say a laptop, and yet keep those good reviews.
Amazon KNOWS this is happening and even when it’s reported do nothing. I have reported dozens of reviews that actively state they are for entirely different products and types of products such as “GREAT SNOWBOARD! 5/5 stars!” On a lawnmower and they stay up. On top of that their search engine PURPOSEFULLY doesn’t work, they actively removed features to stop you from finding what you want.
You used to be able to use basic features like quotes and minus signs to filter your search but Amazon removed it in hopes of keeping you on the site longer. It’s just a scam, a manipulative, overall harmful scam.
Then there are the “brands” they sell, buy a 2 amp fuse and try ramming 10 amps through it for 1 hour and yet it doesn’t blow! Of course I reported this and guess what, it’s still up there.
Amazon doesn’t CARE if you burn to death due to these unsafe products as long as they collect a few pennies off of your charred corpse. That’s who these people are.
Amazon are also ACTIVELY selling a automatic literbox that has, verifiably by authorites, killed multiple cats in a very very bloody way. This info can be easily found on google, youtube, etc with sources and citations and guess what? Those few pennies are still worth more than your pet’s life to Amazon.
This is Amazon.ca. The cat killing, scamming, manipulating, house burning company, incompetently programmed mess that WILL cause you harm eventually if you use it.
Amazon Prime delivery carriers abuse the most loyal customers.…
Some (too many) Montreal Amazon Prime delivery carriers ring my bell just to get into my apartment building when they have no delivery for me, This happens over and over, far too often to be accidental or coincidental. We are frequent Prime customers and word of our availability ( we work at home so are here most of the time) has spread to the local Prime crew. Of course, as with most things Amazon, there is no way to reach the local administrative offices to ask that this abuse of a loyal client ends. So we will order more often from other suppliers .
Zero stars
Zero stars. They deliver pierced bag and after my bad review just by hasard this one is qualified to be no interesting so they delete the bad reviews. What a beautiful scam and illegal act of this company ! They refuse any conpenssation.
The only reason they got 1 star is…
The only reason they got 1 star is because it's mandatory to give them a star so if I was you I would stop using Amazon.ca because they are scammers I had unauthorized transactions on my account I have not used my Amazon account since 2021 and there were orders on my account that were not me and in fact my account was supposed to be closed last year 2023 because I called talked to a lady there and she told me my account would be deleted anyway they sent me a email saying a bunch of BS and they also said I have to talk to my bank to get my money back well I no longer deal with that bank because of it being compromised amd they said they are not giving me my money back because it was Amazon that screwd up and it's there issues so got ahold of Amazon again they got back to me with the exact same email wording everything so I guess I am out almost $100 but what Amazon should be worried about is the person that will be handling this problem for me and I won't mention any names but he is going to be Canada's Next Prime Minister?
You guys are not intelligent in any…
You guys are not intelligent in any way. I have told you many many times my landlord will NOT fix my buzzer in my apartment so you have to call or text me when you get here. Give your **** drivers the message to read instructions!!! Why am I paying for prime when I don't get my packages on time. Your service sucks
I see many unhappy comments here but to…
I see many unhappy comments here but to be honest, and keep in mind I buy a lot of stuff. Amazon have been the best. Fast delivery on almost all my orders. They even made a mistake with a large item recently and sent the wrong heavy item, and let me keep it. And they also refunded me for the item I did not get. I been buying here for many years and never had a issue that was not resolved. Therefore I gave them a 5.
Canada Amazon is probably the sh1ttest
Canada Amazon is probably the sh1ttest
Similar to other reviews my account was suspended for a long time when I just got here and purchased furnitures like beds and stuff with a uk Visa card. Thank you Amazon I slept on the floor for nearly a week. During which, I was constantly providing proofs of card ownership without clear instruction. And the attitude of the customer service is sh1tty af. When I was back in the uk I have always felt Amazon customer service is the best. They deal with things fast and polite. Here, representatives just hang up on you. Also the delay of delivery never happened in the uk and never this severe.
You have no way of correct changing…
You have no way of correct changing information then they find another account round in circles to prove who you are
My Amazon account
My Amazon account, which I had been using for about 7 years, including Europe and the UK, was permanently deleted after I made a purchase from Amazon Canada.
They asked me to prove that the credit card was mine. I think I emailed the full documents 8 different times. now amazon employees have all my information and they can do anything they want in my name.
They manage a stupid process that is so far from intelligence that it's ridiculous. There is not even a place to ask questions. I have 3 active orders. It says we detected an anomaly, prove that you are the cardholder, but I don't understand which order they detected abnormal.
They demand a statement of account for the order in which I use my credit card that I live in Europe.
but the credit card address is not Canada. The card doesn't belong to the Canadian bank in the first place. Then tell your user from the very beginning that you cannot use international cards such as apple, Costco, etc. for membership transactions. Why are you locking my account?
It's nothing but stupidity.
As if it is easy to immigrate to another country, I am dealing with the pleasures of these. After Turkey, I shopped in the Netherlands, Amazon.eu sent an e-mail for security, we wanted to make sure you are you. I was satisfied with 1 mail and it was fixed.
When I went to the UK I bought a Razer notebook about £ 7000 for security reasons, we paused, they asked for confirmation, we did it, it was fixed with 1 mail and the product was delivered. I went to Turkey with the same account and there was no problem.
Now I ordered it in Canada for $63, only $63. 80 mail passport copy ID document address
They demanded Canadian bank statements and everything else. We sent them, it wasn't enough, they said send this too, we sent them too.
They asked for a screenshot from my official bank application, I sent it.
They sent an e-mail, we closed your account. I'm a scammer, I'm already dealing with all these things with my children and I'm going to deal with you.
The situation has officially become the laughing stock of my entire environment.
I will take you to court for direct discrimination, humiliating me in the eyes of my children, the psychological violence you have applied, and the collections you made from my credit card despite closing my account.
You have deleted the account due to your incompetent nonsense application, they say we don't have your account when I ask for refunds to credit cards. But I see it on my credit card statement, the payments you stupidly took according to your mind.
I hereby announce with pleasure that I will file the biggest compensation lawsuit in history.
