Having to pay a ransom to get my things back from Rebelle. Do not use Rebelle.

Do not use Rebelle. Their commissions are very high. I sent some things because they offered a concierge service as a free offer. This was not honoured. And anyway, their prices were very low and what you got as the seller was peanuts. The far better alternatives are Vestiaire and Vinted.
Rebelle are making me pay a ransom for my own property for their 'service' of taking a few snapshots and writing a pretty average description. But is still better to get my property back than let this company mess with them

I strongly advise against using Rebelle and suggest that for very high value items Vestiaire and Vinted for a broad range. Vinted charge very little and have a far better system than Rebelle. Well, actually, all the other platforms have a better service/system than Rebelle. I would certainly never recommend Reblle.

Update. I received a bill for them to return my items for me. I paid immediately as I want my items back really quickly. Then I noticed they had charged me twice for one item. I have requested a refund for that item. Plus VAT (sales tax)

I suggest that in any dealings with ths company every piece of paper/contract or whatever should be investigated for hidden charges and what I assume mistakes.
Reading other complaints about Rebelle, it seems they have some very odd practices. There are companies such as Vestiaire who are much more transparent and honest.
Do not start any relationship with Rebelle before reading all the terms and conditions very carefully.

Never never never again

I'm in such shock (the same as Carolina) as I have never imagined EU company can behave that way. I'm a seller and I have accepted the offer which presented my money/fee as well. After purchase I have receive an email with congratulations and 700 EUR less for me. If I don't send my item, they are going to issue a claim and will go against me to get that money - what, till the auction of my real estate? They told they have lawyers. I would never imagined that kind of things can happen in EU. The target of business is make a trick with Terms and Conditions 2.9., mislead the user interface and then use lawyers against customers.

Rebelle has granted rights to give a promo which must supported by Seller, but when you are presented your price - no info added, no indications. It comes later, but you can't predict it either - if they decrease your money or not. You can guess and sometimes you can be lucky!

Congratulations you item was sold! Revenues: -0.20 euro

Last night I received an email from Rebelle congratulating me for the successful sale of an item. I looked at the revenues and it was written: -0.20 euro!!!! I asked Rebelle for an explanation and I got this one:"Unfortunately your item was sold for a very low price and, since REBELLE has a minimum commission of 20€, there will be no revenue for you. However, this doesn't mean you owe us 20 cent. This is just the system calculating, but nothing will be deducted from your account. Thank you for your understanding."

Be aware that when they propose to offer your item in flash sales, the range of “revenues” that they indicate is in fact the sale price, which is very different from your revenues. They can sell the item and even ask you money but they are kind enough to send you an email to congratulate you on the successful sale! Despite the email I received saying that I do not have to pay the 20c they have deduced them from my next sale!!

Attention!! Rebelle is always entitled to decrease the price of an item by 10%, but the reduction of your revenues can be up to 100% and even negative and you have to pay the difference!

No Price Offer received - but item Sold (with a discount) !

First time selling on Rebelle and the experience is just ridiculous. A prospective buyer wrote to me about a D&G dress that I listed on Rebelle at 550€ (she wrote to me in the comments section) and asked if I would accept 400€ for the dress. I wrote back (in the comments section) that I would not accept anything less than 460€. Next thing I know is I received an email from Rebelle that my item has sold at 405€ and my revenue is 272€. Firstly, I NEVER received any price offer from any prospective buyer. Neither did I accept any price offer. When I wrote to the Rebelle Customer Service about it, I was told that a 10% discount was applied by the Buyer (hence the reduced revenue). And I was told all this is in their T&C. And they further replied that they have sent an email offer to me and that I accepted (with screenshot). I NEVER received any email regarding a price offer, neither did I accept any offer. In a sale - legally both Seller and Buyer has to agree on a price before concluding a sale. Sneaky and unethical. P.S. I am NOT disputing your 10% discount, I am disputing that you sent me a price offer and that I accepted the offer. This NEVER happened and can be proven at my end.

Watch out for Rebelle.com

Watch out for Rebelle.com, unlike other channels (Vinted, Ebay), they charge you very high commission fees (>30%) if you are unable to sell your item. In my case, I simply forgot to withdraw my item from the portal when my mom decided she wanted to have the dress. I would strongly rcommend Rebelle.com to quickly check with the customers if their item is still available for selling.

When you set up your selling order, you agreed to our terms and conditions for sellers. They clearly state, that you - as the seller - are obligated to send us the item within the agreed time in case of a sale.

The person buying the item, mind you, has already paid for it and expects something in return - in this case, the shipment of a product. If you as the seller don't ship the item to us, our company name has to inevitably stand for that and may be stained by it or leave a bad impression.

We justifiably try to prevent this by any chance. For this exact reason we posed the following clause:

10.3
REBELLE is still entitled to the full commission if the sales contract is not executed in its entirety or merely partially for reasons the seller is responsible for. Reasons attributable to the seller’s range of responsibility are, in particular, a worsening of the condition of the sales item prior to receipt by REBELLE, a deviation of the actual properties of the sales item from the description provided by the seller regarding the sales item or if applicable, the product photographs as well as the improper or incomplete receipt of the sales item by REBELLE.

Since you are not able or willing to ship the sold item to us the aforementioned part of the terms and conditions become effective and we have to charge you the commission.

Good product and excellent customer service

I bought a pair of Chie Mihara and they were just as per description and condition. A very good purchase and excellent customer service. I had an issue with a bouchure and they responded very quickly and gave me a solution. Very good new shopping site. I will probably buy here again.

Service is so poor that’s even beyond…

Service is so poor that’s even beyond belief

The bag of about 1000$ was sent by Dhl and it was deposited without signature and now missing.
Rebelle takes zero responsibility and did not offer to even contact DHL.

I recommend everyone to buy at Vestiaire Collective as the prices are better and service much more helpful and responsive for both sellers and buyers

Okayish deals, but horrendeus customer service.

I am located in Germany and I’ve always had an overall good experience with Rebelle, but definitely would not order high priced luxury items - too insecure.

Also, their customer service is the worst. Almost certain that ‘Lilly’ is not always the same person which means multiple people behind that alias genuinely do not care about your issue and definitely won‘t look into it or come up with a solution. Such a shame and so annoying that I will probably look for an online or in-store alternative.

Rebelle miss-selling to UK customers

I have just made first purchase through Rebelle and yes, was hit by huge customs charges that meant it was not worthwhile. Worse than that, despite being told on several emails and all over the British version of the site that I could ‘re-sell’ the items through the site within 7 days if they weren’t right, I’m now being told that isn’t the case.
The correspondence I’ve had from ‘Lilly’ hasn’t addressed the issues, been very matter of fact and and now no response to email.
They are simply miss-selling. Brexit is no excuse, they’ve had plenty of tome to address the misinformation on their website!

Added costs that you aren't aware of when purchasing from Rebelle

I have purchased many items from Rebelle for several years ans always been pleased with the service. However I bought a Louis Vuitton bag from them in August and payed for the delivery charge. I then heard nothing further and emails were sent back and forth. Basically it had been held in customs and I had to pay an extra £130.00 for customs payments. Not once had I been told about this extra charge because of Brexit. Unfortunately this means I will never purchase anything from Rebelle again and If you do please look into these charges which brings the cost of any item well over what they are worth. Please don't make the mistake I made and beware!

Terrible customer service and hidden charges

I have used Rebelle a number of times and to date have ben very leased with service. I have just for the first time be lumbered with a 36% additional charge for customs duty on an order (never had before) - charges of this size have not been disclosed in any obvious way and more disappointing the tone and lack of helpfulness from customer services was bordering on rude. I am highly unlikely to use them again following this

SCAM DONT SEND THEM ITEMS

Same as previous comments, DONT SEND THEM YOUR ITEMS use Vestiarecollective instead. This is a scam and they are not only rude but give very strange conditions and I just say stay away both as a seller and as a buyer!

Items are not sent or never arrive. After 15 min in the call waiting a voice says 'we are currently not available for phone support' and hangs up. Just a catastrophic experience

Don’t order if you live in the UK!

If you live in the UK do not order anything from this website! You are unable to return items for any reason, despite this not being clear on their website. In the shipping section of the item I ordered it stated that I could return it within 14 days, but I was informed over the phone that this is not the case if it is delivered to the UK. They are deliberately misleading and there is no mention of this when you order items. Not to mention the extortionate customs fees.

Scam

I sent them a dress to sell and they marked it as "used with signs of wear" despite being brand new, never worn still in the original designers box.

Whatever. It was on their website for at least 2-3 years before selling.

They paid me £3. They didn't not honour our contract and paid me a random tiny sum. I believe I was meant to receive 30-50% of the final selling price but apparently they just stole all the money for themselves.

I've tried getting into contact but all they say is "we paid you" They also altered the contract on my account to say they only owe me £3

Keep in mind I bought this dress for £200+ and it was NEVER WORN/USED. It's been so many years I can't really care at this point but don't use this website as a seller they will scam you.

Really bad service for sellers!!

Really bad service for sellers!!! Don’t sell stuff there! Many returns for stupid reasons! High commissions!! If the item is not accepted by the quality control you have to pay for return and wait 2 weeks to receive it back! And they put “advised”prices and even make it lower by themselves! 🤦🏻‍♀️Was trying to sell there several years and a loot of negative experience! Avoid this platform. Better Vestiare Collective.

Good for buying but not so good for selling

I think that Rebelle are very good for authentication for some things. I purchased a Louis V handbag from them a few months back and it took a long time to come. Customer services told me that they had to source the items from all over the world sometimes. I got the bag and its great. I have purchased some amazing items from them including quite a bit of fun stuff from Moschino for my daughter. Really great! However as a seller the experience has not been quite so good - I am amazed what little money I have received for some of my items. Rebelle turned down a fabulous Fendi dress that I was trying to sell and then said that there was a problem with the beading - which was not correct.- so in the end they rejected it. So a mixed experience - but customer service have been pretty good for me,
