I have the exact same problem as many…

I have the exact same problem as many sellers before me. About 12 months ago I’ve uploaded an item. Which I’ve tried to remove many times. I myself can’t even find it in my profile. I’ve also had countless times where I tried to find a page to delete my profile. Rebelle then sends you to an error page 404. Something went wrong.. yes I can’t delete my account.
Now I’ve got an email saying I’ve sold something. Which I haven’t agreed to.. and that I’m receiving an invoice. I don’t have the item anymore.
I’ve sold it about 8 months ago via vestiaire. Which is a great platform. They always ask the seller to agree upon a sell..
rebelle also immediately send the threat that if I don’t pay it’ll go to a incasso bureau.. the worst customer experience I’ve had with any company.. ever. Would definitely not recommend. The commissions are crazy high. And you’re not informed about anything. Nor asked what you would like to sell your OWN items for..

No flexibility or customer-orientation

No flexibility or customer-orientation: REBELLE seems not interested in those qualities. There's no creativity or incentive in getting the item to the customer: shipping charge is high and there's no direct shipping between customers on low-ticket items. My impression is that this is not because doing so is difficult, rather it would mean modifying procedures. My experience of REBELLE is arrogance: procedures are writ in stone and policies are kept secret.
My recent exchange with a service rep about customs charges is a good example: it's glaringly obvious that the additional step of having to pay incoming customs is cumbersome for the customer, yet they didn't acknowledge it - just said the comments had been forwarded to another department. There's never a contact person who one can deal with directly. This rep had also initially already wasted my time with a boilerplate response telling me REBELLE had no control over local customs regulations; this is so obvious, its insulting they even write it - except its a great example of how REBELLE doesn't tailor responses to customers, just stays stuck in procedure.
Competitors include Customs duties at check-out: one knows the total price and there's no cumbersome intermediate step of having to go onto the delivery company's site to pay charges. REBELLE refuses to acknowledge that the lack of price transparency and additional time requirements are at all negative experiences for this customer.

The main reason that there is no direct shipping between the sellers and the buyers for low ticket items, is that every item that is sold on REBELLE will be checked by our team of experts on authenticity and if the quality and state of the items is described correctly by a seller. This is to prevent a situation, that a buyer receives an item which isn't authentic or doesn't match the description.

For shipping outside the EU customs fees may apply, these are determined by the local customs and can not be influenced by REBELLE.

Your sellers are ALSO your customers!

Seller and buyer on Rebelle since 2016. Good site for buying but since the last 2 years a horrible site to sell. And when you look to the other reviews I am not the only one with this opinion. Yesterday I decided that it is enough with their unethical practice and took my items offline. In their conditions is standing that when they do a discount action, the discount is divided between the seller and Rebelle, but that they don’t do. When a buyer buys an item with a discount code, often 10% or 20%, that amount goes totally of the selling price and Rebelle only looses a few € because they just calculate the commission on the final selling price. I already learnt to first check if there is a discount action before I accepted an offer. However, an accepted offer stays 2 or 3 days valid, so when during that time a discount appears you loose an additional 10 or 20%. And lately that seems to be the standard, so I was just rejecting offers. Or they say that the buyer used a coupon (no chance to even check that). They are also not consistent in rejecting items, sometimes they just ship an item back, but when they like an item they place it back on sale with their description and when you want it back you have to pay shipping costs and it is a lot of emailing to get it back. This is additional frustrating when the reason of refusal is invalid. And don’t think you can convince them otherwhise.
The fact that they have lately the whole time some discount action running is showing that they need more sales. After selling there since 6 years I don’t remove my items for no reason and I am not the only one. And they take almost 50% commission, the highest compared to other sites. Rebelle, your sellers are ALSO your customers, not only the buyers! And without sellers there cannot be buyers. I sold almost 100 items with you, you earned over €8000 with me as a seller but never any loyalty back and I had a happy feeling that I finally said ‘enough is enough’ and removed items.

My item hasn't arrived

My item hasn't arrived. Really poor customer service. My item was ordered on the 1st of April. It's now the 10th of June and I haven't received any updates or my order. Seems like a total scam as they've taken my money and not done anything to help me with my order or stay in contact with me. Useless - avoid this company!

Beware of uk import tax !

I purchased a pair of Versace sandals for £185. The transaction went through well and I knew I might have to pay import tax.
However, I was not expecting a bill for £87 to import the sandals !! Shocked and won’t be buying again.

absolutely awful site i purchased 2 items and got none! the dress they said was stained so put back on site for full price then boots i paid for they said bad condition refunded money no pictures no choice to see if i still wanted! awful dont get involved with them

In case of small deviations from the item description, we first send pictures and ask if the buyer still wants the item. But if we receive really defective items, we cancel the order and refund the money, because these items do not meet our quality standard. Such items we send back to the seller and do not put it online again.

Cheap plastic inauthentic Chanel Sunglasses

I recently ordered some Chanel sunglasses from a private seller. In their terms, they state that when buying off a private seller, you will be unable to issue a refund, but instead relist the item with no fee. I proceeded because I was confident that the authenticity team would make sure I got what I paid for. Unfortunately, my item was faulty. First off, the description said it was metal but it was very cheap plastic. So cheap, that the arms were so loose, and the lenses were also a cheap plastic. This leads me to my next complaint, the condition is very poor, I don’t see how they could have let this through. So first it’s inauthentic, secondly it’s not as described with different material, and lastly it’s in poor condition. I’m expecting to get a refund since this is a problem on behalf of the authenticity team. I am waiting on a response back from them.

Unable to load image

Can the app version be updated? The picture cannot be loaded at all, and the same is true when changing to a website. Other applications can be opened. It is not a network problem.

Scam website

Scam website. I sold my item in Rebelle website and want to cancel, because they applied discount for the buyer, which I supposed to covered. nobody informed me, If I agree to sell my item for lower price. I want to cancel my sale of course, but Rebelle team doesnt want to hear about it, and instead they send me 500euro invoice for not shipping the item. It against European costumer protection rules!!!

Sellers be aware

Sellers be aware - Rebelle's terms says you revenue is subject to change to any vouchers buyers may use. So you may get something different after you've accepted an offer. And as a seller I have no prior knowledge of how these vouchers will make a dent in my revenue and I'm supposed to accept it unconditionally. This is misleading and not honest practice!

WORST NIGHTMARE FOR SELLERS!!!!!

HORRIBLE FOR SELLERS!!!!
sold a bag, shipped it the same day. got a confirmation that they received it after 6 days! then 15 days later NOTHING!!! lost my bag AND 1500EUR. totally looks like a rip off website that stole 1500euros from me!!! and nobody ever replies to my messages. also the telephone is not working and there's a recording telling you to kindly write an email - WHICH NEVER GETS A REPLY EVER! WORST NIGHTMARE! NEVER EVER AGAIN! gotta seek advice from my lawyer to get my money back!
dear sellers out there, go to vestiaire collective instead, they're trusted and reputable and will pay you out, unlike rebelle which is a team of professional scammers!

extra 5 euro charge for sellers

Even though the commission is outrageous, after the sale Rebelle steals 5 euros extra for an insurance I haven’t selected. It is the third sale now they charge 5 extra euros, even though I emailed them explicitly I do not wish the label with 5 extra euro fee. Still no answear, and there is nothing I can do. The seller must accept whatever amount desires Rebelle to give them in the end, since there is nothing you can do.

Horrible

Horrible, just horrible. Outrages fees. Incompetent to verify genuine items from fake. Slow shipping, and even slower payout. Customer service is a complete joke as well. Incompetent and unfriendly. The only thing they care is how to rip you off. Both as a seller and a buyer.

Sellers you have no control how much they sell your items for!

I've been a happy buyer on Rebelle for years and never, not once did I have an issues with quality control or had questioned their authenticity check. So being a buyer on this site is actually a great pleasure. Also the customer service has always been very responsive.
However, it's a huge struggle and frustration for sellers! First, their commission is the highest in Europe among similar e-commerce reselling boards which makes it really tough to sell anything on there. My most recent selling experience also showed that whenever they run a promotion and buyer uses a voucher, the % is directly deducted from seller's earnings! Not from their comission but from sellers revenue. Without notice, I just got an email that my item has sold for a lot below my asking price due to the fact that the buyer used a 10%, as I was explained by Customer Service. And, it turned out there's a clause in their T&C so by placing anything for sale on this platform you should automatically assume that they may sell it for below your price without even asking for consent.
Now the most interesting part - if you don't send the sold item to them (which I will not, because I strongly don't accept the price it's sold for and appalled by the fact that they charge sellers the cost of their campaigns), according to Rebelle you still owe them the commission. Seriously? I very much doubt they have a legal leg to stand on with regard to this

This was my 1st time using Rebelle

This was my 1st time using Rebelle, I was a bit dubious about using it after reading all the negative comments but this was the only place that had the shoes I wanted. I decided to give Rebelle a chance and buy the shoes and I’m so glad I did, the shoes arrived exactly as described and the seller posted the item using DHL and I was able to track it online after a couple of days. A very pleasant purchase. I took about 2 weeks after postage to reach me.

The worst platform as a seller and as a buyer

I will rate this as a seller first and reiterate what some other users mentioned in trust pilot. I have no idea how this platform is still in business. Compared to other platforms their offering is poor, the price is not competitive and the commission taken from sellers is abusive. From personal experience I sent some items to their concierge service and given their “fixed fee” a lot of the times I got a 2€ revenue from a sale of over 50€.
They don’t realise that if they don’t have the items to sell they won’t attract buyers... so by being the worst platform to sell on they are doing themselves no favours.
