The worst pre-loved marketplaces

The worst pre-loved marketplaces. With all their lack of professionalism - it keeps me wonder how they still in the business? Their commission is ridiculously high (40%) on top of that, Rebelle charged the cost of their campaigns on the seller account. So, it's like a company going to charge their suppliers for the reduced price of their discount-period. Completely off-logic and disgraceful way of doing business. To make things worse - I have sold some items - after 50% of fees they took - Rebelle didn't pay me yet. Their explanation was: the buyer bought many items and Rebelle was not able to ship all the items on-time (3 weeks after the transaction). Because of that Rebelle will not proceed with the payment until the item is shipped out to the buyer. Really? So, their customers - both buyers and sellers need to pay the cost for their lack of professionalism. At the same time, using their customers as a free source of free funds.

All in all, this platform isn’t built in any forms of fairness to sellers. What is more because of their high-commission - it is almost impossible to sell at their platform.

Steer well clear of this company

Steer well clear of this company. I have just waited so long for an expensive item for a friends 60th that her birthday has come and gone. She didn’t get a present she only got an apology. To add insult to injury I then got a demand for a further £100 from customs that I had absolutely no idea about. Response from Rebelle, they couldn’t have cared less. Disgusting customer service and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Don't EVER sell as intividual on this site.They are scammers.I have had the worst experience ever with them.They charge you WAY more fees once the item i sold and If you dont sent it to them they say YOU HAVE TO PAY THEM THE COMMISSION.I recently have sold a classic flap.Their commision should be €421 but they charged me €618.I told them to cancel the sale and they tell I should pay them €618 for cancellation.I have never writen such a review and buy and sell regularly at vestiaire,depop etc.THEY ARE THE WORST

No respons to whereabouts of returned item -INCOMPETENT AND RUDE

In the beginning of January I purchased a coat, which was described by the seller as being goat leather. Upon arrival I found this to be a type of exotic fur, which for principal reasons I do not want to purchase. Two weeks ago have returned the item to have it re-checked, but I receive no outcome. I have requested for a respons three times now, but Rebelle remains silent. Where is my object? This is already the second time I am have this bad experience with Rebelle.
The order number is: 0707853R04012021
After a number a reminders, I received two days ago finally a reply from the Dutch representative - yes indeed, the same person who was supposed to handle the first case (three months of chasing after my item): there is still no news about my 'missing' item, and with this reply we are back in silence. And as you can see by the response I received below, they have no interest in these reviews and do not even bother to ask further about the order.
An ancient expression says: only a donkey bumps into the same stone twice: well people, read this donkey's experience with Rebelle carefully: do not purchase here, it is not worth it.

Not Designed for Sellers

This is a very unfavorable service for sellers. Selling my items Rebelle has made 111 euros, taking costs into account I have made 18, 20 euros. Sellers should go into this with their eyes open.

The communication seems to happen half in German/half in English causing confusion for which the seller is then penalised. For example my two piece suit was repeatedly advertised as a 'costume' in English despite this being pointed out as incorrect and hard to search for.

I was also apparently meant to understand how to pay a bill by reading instructions in German and am now being penalised for not being able to understand this.

The bill itself is a matter of issue. Though I understand Brexit has caused issues in continuing the contract which is not Rebelles fault, when I started using the service I was told my items could be returned to me free of charge. Rebelle changed this term during the contract removing this option.

Overall I would advice people against selling using this site.

Moneymaking scam

I sent several items to be sold by the concierge service at the beginning of August. It took them a month to finally get them online. The prices were inaccurate, much too low, and without consulting they dropped the prices regularly, but didn't manage to sell anything for 4 months. I then received an e-mail saying because of Brexit I would need to decide within a week if I wanted my things returned to me, otherwise they would keep them, sell them for as low a price as necessary to move them, and I would have no right to reclaim them at any point in the future. To have them returned I had to pay €15 per item, which is absolutely outrageous. The whole deal cost me several months and a lot of money, for a service that was inadequate and ineffective. Stay away!

Worst Company in Europe

Without a doubt this is the worst company that it has ever been my misfortune to deal with. Initially they lost an item that I had sent to them for sale and then, several weeks later, they magically found it and then had the audacity to send it back to me in a damaged condition stating that this did not meet their requirements. I would urge everyone to take a photograph of any items for sale before sending them to this company as they will deny ever receiving it in a perfect condition!!!!!

Unacceptable behaviour from Rebelle

I am a UK seller & have been selling with Rebelle for years. Whilst they are the worst selling site by far in respect of their ridiculous commision charges, I did at least sell well on there. However all UK sellers have now been dumped because of Brexit when no other site seems to have an issue but to top it off all my items have now been marked as sold which is a blatant lie!! This will of course make it look good for them as they have 'SOLD' many items. I am extremely angry at their unacceptable behaviour towards their UK sellers.

I had a sold item which I was unable to…

I had a sold item which I was unable to send as I was out of town. I thought this would automatically expire if it was not sent in time. Instead once I told them to cancel they told me they will have to charge me the commission fee of £455!! This is absurd. On top of it they said they sent my notifiations but these emails were not sent to my registered email. Buyers beware. I have cancelled my account now. There are many platforms like Vestiaire collective or Ebay where you would never get charged for not sending your item

CHEATS - REPORT THEM TO THE AUTHORITIES

These people are bonkers. They belong in a mental asylum. Very poor customer service with fraudulent hidden charges, at least for sellers. It is illegal to advertise different revenues for sellers, then deduct it further at their own discretion, without permission, after sales are completed.
As if their ridiculous commissions aren't already too high! Their T&C are a joke.
Petty, rip offs, greedy and immoral platform. Very happy that I won't be selling with them anymore. I won't miss them and hope they go down the drain, as I am sure they will eventually because competition will drive them out.
DO REPORT THEM TO THE BUSINESS AUTHORITIES IN GERMANY AND EU. THEY MUST BE INVESTIGATED AND FINED. Based on other reviews this is happening to a lot of people, so don't let them get away with it.
P.S. Spare me your farcical response Rebelle just to save face in public. Behind the scenes, all your communication has been very hostile and unprofessional, reflecting the culture and the nasty attitudes you have towards the customer. And yes, their team leader is very unprofessional, childish, juvenile, miserable person. Do call her out, it will hurt her ego.

Rebelle behaving Immorally because of Brexit

Dear Readers
I am writing on behalf of all those who live in the UK and have sent items to be sped by Rebelle. Yesterday I received an email from Rebelle to say that after the 15th December they will no longer be selling my products because of Brexit. That is fine I haven problem with that. What I have a problem is that they have stated that if we want our items back we need to get back before the 15th December and also pay $15dollars for each item to be sent back. If items I not claimed back they cane sold for whatever price Rebelle chooses. This is clearly outrageous for a company that takes nearly 70/80 percent of the profit when an item is sold. Also you would think that given these unprecedented times were people are struggling they would be a little more courteous and charge a nominal fee to return peoples items. I order from OUTNET in Bologna which is further away and pay only £5 for a whole box of items. How can they charge people 15 Euros per item. They know that we don't do that and they will just sell the item and take their profits. I really urge people to take a stand on this and not buy from Rebelle. Moreover, I tried calling them and emailed them several times to ask if they would charge just a nominal fee to return my items. They have refused to reply. While Rebelle my be operating within the law they are clearly behaving immorally. I will also be posting stuff unsocial media about this as I dont see why I have to pay to get my items back.
