I am so satisfied with the service , and how smooth they reimbursement was. i rented a car for 2 days in Zurich.and after returning the car, with very very very small scratch , they charged me 1200CHF . Luckily i purchased a full insurance while making the car booking. after i submitted the documents required, i got the approval same day exactly after 3 hours of submitting the claim. 3 days later i got the payment throu my bank account . i would difenetly always recommend any one to purchase the insurance, we never know sometimes its not really our mistake,sometimes while parking the car you can still hit something unintentionally . Thank you again for this fast and smoooth service.

I rented a car from VIPCARS.COM and after the agreement was completed the option came up from RentalCover.com offering car rental insurance. I signed up for the service and within 3 hrs after signing up the rental car company VIPCARS.COM sent me an email to inform me that my car rental agreement was canceled. I immediately called VIPCARS.COM to find out why my rental agreement was canceled and was told that there was no car available. I asked the representative when I would expect the credit to be applied to my credit card and was told I would have to wait 10 to 15 days. I received the credit refind for the rental car cost but did not receive the payment for the additional insurance. I contacted RentalCover.com via email and was that I had to complete a claim form on line via there website. I followed the instructions that was provided and when I selected the request to cancel the insurance the form would take me to the company policy agreement. I made several attempts to contact them directly to resolve the issue but to date they have not replied. It is obvious that they do not wish to refund the funds that was paid for coverage for a rental car that I did not rent.

Great experience, both buying protection and claiming a refund. Very straightforward, each step is explained clearly and we got from filing a request to getting the refund in less than 3 days, without any hiccups.

I chose to use RentalCover instead of the hire car company’s insurance and I’m so glad I did. They were less expensive, had helpful customer service, clear instructions on how to make a claim and my claim/refund was processed & deposited into my bank account on the same day. This was our first trip back to Europe renting a car in over ten years. If we rent a car in the States, usually we rely on the credit card insurance. In Europe this time, it seemed like a good idea to have more coverage. The population of the area we were visiting has boomed, roads, as well as neighborhoods have changed, and we thought we'd reserved a VW Polo (small, fits well in tight spaces and traffic situations). However by the time we got to the rental desk, the counter person told us they didn't have any small vehicles left that day, and only SUV type cars (huge) so they up-sold us into a bigger car than we wanted. Mostly it worked out ok, but at one point I clipped a curb and scratched the hub cap. This turned out to be costly to repair and the rental company charged us accordingly. They did provide us with all the paperwork needed to file, and Rental Cover made filing pretty easy and covered the cost. Getting coverage turned out to be a good idea and worth every penny!

Fantastic, easy and quickly

Coming from Singapore, I was a hit sceptical of this insurance.

But turns out to be easy and swift when doing claims! The only setback was the currency exchange so i kinda lost SGD$30

Will definitely engage this service again in future!
