I haven’t had any contact with Rentokil as I have a contract in place via my waste company BUT what I can say is that Jess is THE best pest controller I have ever met. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and have met with many operatives who have come out to deal with my pest control issues from various companies, none are in comparison to Jess the pest control whisperer. She is so friendly, completes her job to the best of her ability and doesn’t judge you when you need to jump onto the tables! This lady deserves a pay rise! When my contract is up for renewal, due to the service she provides I will be looking at going direct! She goes above and beyond for her clients.

My husband works for this company and…
My husband works for this company and is not only getting a $30000 pay cut, due to a new pay system. But every month someone in HR forgets to add whether that be commission when they had it, and now it’s their KPI’S. He’s been getting taxed twice every time this happens. Seems to be a recurring problem. My husband has been working for this company that was bought out for six years. And it blows my mind that he’s making now what he made four years. I am not sure how such a great employee that they have, that not only goes above and beyond including doing extra work, doing everything that is asked of him, no complaints not write ups. No problems whatsoever can get a pay cut and not rewarded for his hard work. We have four children and bills to pay. We have had to be late on bills and now live pay check to pay check. We do not live out of our means what so ever. This is so very sad. And beyond ridiculous! We were building a house in October, my husband mentioned this to his boss when he found out about the new pay system he was told not to worry about it, he would be taken care of. Wrong! Now we have had to back out of our home we have put money into and watched being built. Including our children! My husband takes pride in his job. Loves his job. But this has made him come home stressed about what we are going to do. He was upset when he had to tell his family we can no longer afford anything. This is not how you treat your employees or run a business. They are very much aware of these issues, and are okay with letting great employees leave. No one wants to work for a company that they bust their butts working everyday and even late on weekends, to get a huge pay cut. There are reasons why people leave business like this. You would think that since others have left already due to pay cuts that someone would care. They tell their employees if they want to leave no one will stop them. This business is in our area is going down fast. Also, due to all the changes, they have business’s firing them and people canceling because no one wants to answer the phones they have billing issues that the company is not fixing. Nor do people want to deal with big corporations. This company does not know what they are doing, nor are they trying to fix problems, they are okay with screwing not only employees over but mom and pop shops, residents and big businesses. I would not recommend working here nor doing business.

Wont even come out to my property.
Have an issue with pests in my loft, can hear them scratching, moving around, often very loud. Contacted rentokil, apparently unless I have seen a nest or droppings etc, they wont come out. Seems utterly ridiculous. I am not imagining the noise, my whole family have heard it on various occasions.

Do not order - reluctant to provide refund
Do not order anything from this company if you may require a refund. I paid for an item I ordered then returned for a refund but instead received invoices requesting payment and the refund that was due then cancelled the invoice so I did not get my refund. After numerous phone calls and emails I logged a dispute with the bank only for the company having processed the refund but had they not I would have taken it further with my bank.
Too much unnecessary stress and be assured I will not be ordering anything from you again.

DO NOT GO NEAR. This is the first trustpulot review I have ever written but I am so appalled I feel that no one should have to go through what we have. I want to put this up to stop anyone wasting their money and experiencing what we have. The workmanship is beyond poor and the customer service is sickening. I was told this job would be three days and they ‘finnished’ 23 days on from their start date and there is a lot that needs rectifying.

A chair bound housebound friend of mine who is in his 70's saw a rat in his flat (properties next door are being renovated) he lives in London W12. In his panic he rang Rentokil who came and did a Survey. During the Surveyor's visit my friend had to take a phone call. At the end of the visit Rentokil took £4,000.00 out of his bank account. This happened over a week ago. I saw my friend a few days after. We tried calling Rentokil that weekend. We were advised to phone on the Monday morning which my friend did. He was told someone would phone him within 24 hours. None did. We then were told that we had been phoning the wrong department. We were advised to email customer services which we did. None acknowledged our email. Around October 27 I sent a letter plus a copy of the email to Rentokil CEO Andy Ransom. I sent the letter by special post which means it has to be signed for on delivery. We are now October 31 still no response from Rentokil.
Please can someone advise what can be done next. It looks as though my friend may face an 80% cancellation fee! I asked in the letter for Rentokil to show a bit of Goodwill and give my friend a full refund. The council have sorted the rat problem. All advice welcome.

Not impressed
Not happy at all with the response from the failed DPC that was first done by Peter Cox who were taken over by Rentokil.
After a second inspection was carried out we were informed that the DPC had not failed.
Several other companies have informed us that it has failed, but the response from rentokil has been woeful.
Perhaps we have just been unlucky but please be wary.... not impressed at all
Disrespectful employee
Rentokil Initial Leeds employees like to park on our residential road as there is no room in their car park - this is fine. What is not fine is an employee consistently turning up for work at 6.30am with music blaring out waking up the neighbourhood then continuing to park up until about 6.55am still with music blaring before he gets out to go to work.
I have contacted Rentokil a few months back - nothing happened they obviously don't care. I later contacted the police who visited them and had a word - it did stop for a little while but now we are back to where we were - each morning this disrespectful employee wakes up the neighbourhood.
This to me does not fit in with the ethics of the brand "At Rentokil we stand for protecting people and enhancing lives and this includes supporting local communities"
This employee is failing on all counts and is on a daily basis showing huge disrespect for the local community. Maybe the location of the business needs to be changed so that at least if workers can not respect local communities they could be provided with on site parking to improve relationships between your business and our community.

NO STARS (not available ) I’ve just returned from working abroad , and returned to my parents for a short stay , after speaking to my parents the start discussing a job they’d had completed by RENTOKIL SPECIALIST HYGIENE . right first of all let’s start at the beginning , my parents firstly made contact with rentokil to quote for an external clean of there property after it being fire damaged 16 months previous . Paul porter , arrived , my mother said he turned up looking like he’s just got out of bed , this impression should of been enough , but no my parents carried on , Paul was very adamant that the suut (yes that’s how he spelt soot) my confidence would of failed at that point . He went on to tell my parents the house would be scrubbed with mechanical equipment , he also said the solution they use is not available to anyone apart from rentokil . They also added solar panels to be cleaned , the total quote came too £10,000+ , my parents stupidly accepted the quote and booked the job in and paid the bill before they started , the date we got given at start changed , I think twice , seemed as soon as they got your money they do what they like . Well the day came to start the job . 1 van pulls up with 1 technician in his name was MARTIN , at first my mother didn’t like his attitude , but after getting to know Martin , Martin became rentokils saving grace . A very genuine guy . My mother asked Martin that morning if he was on his own , he said he had a colleagues on the way , well over an hour later another van pulled up . 1 more worker so 2 people in total . They started to set up , and took off the van a karcher k2 pressure washer (parents have a k4in garage ) and a window cleaning brush system , very soft brush ?? My parents just let them get on with it (I so wish I was here ) they scrubbed the house with a window cleaning system WHAT! For 10k . Anyway back to the solution Andrew and Paul had said it was magic stuff , Andrew left a bottle at end of the job . I’ve done some homework on this solution (dfg) this solution is used in kitchens for removing fats and grease ???? Absolutely not for exterior of houses ! Now with the name rentokil you’d expect a lot more professionalism . We are after no compensation as we’d like no more contact with yourselves ! But I will rate you on every site I possibly can and make sure people don’t get conned . Since my return I asked another company to quote the job just to get the price comparison and our quote from a local reputable company was £1900
, and that included a return visit 6months later to clean solar panels again . So please don’t be conned , please shop about ! Just to top this whole dilemma off , andrew on day 2 disclosed his hourly pay . This is the best part rentokil are only paying there staff 20p over nation living wage ! £10,000-+ 1 week to complete equals 2x worker = approx £900 in wages , dfg soulution £15 for 5 ltrs , we were told a boom was going to do the job , we got a tower scaffold on hire from Brandon hire £56 for the week . Total to rentokil £9k + , now I’m no maths teacher but that equals SLAVE LABOUR ! Please don’t contact us as we don’t want compensation or apologies. DONE !
