Beware of Positive Reviews - A Scam

Purchased the "front of the line" service to get "free" eSIM. First eSIM worked fine, but expired after 7 days. Imposssible to get renewed after 4 weeks of trying via messaging and email to support. No response from Seeek.

A Google search shows other users in same boat. Positive reviews are from those who got the original eSIM... and you do get the first one within 72 hours when paying a fee, but it expires within 7 days and then you are ghosted by Seeek.

Paid, but received nothing

Ordered the (paid) esim, called "skip the queue", 14 days ago. Homepage says it can take up to 72hours to get it.
Reached out to support 6x since then. No reaction at any point, no esim.

Avoid

Tried over the course of this week to contact Seeek and get my account closed but my messages and emails have gone unanswered.

Multiple messages to them on chats and have sent emails and getting nothing in return. What's more frustrating is that you can see the team and when they were last online.

You can't enact your right to be forgotten under UK law because messages are going unanswered.

Such potential here but CS is lacking.

Great idea to make a free eSIM and provide excellent support

Seeek's eSIM provides a convenient way to access mobile data while traveling, without any hidden fees. Their customer support team is responsive and efficient in resolving technical issues.

I recently encountered a technical issue where I was unable to bypass the queue and my mobile data stopped working after some time on the initial eSIM. The support team promptly generated a new eSIM for me, which successfully restored my connection.

I would like to express my appreciation to the Seeek team for their excellent support.

Feels like a scam

Feels like a scam. Paid the price for skipping the queue but never received a SIM card neither did the website update that I really skipped the website. Also never got an answer in my mailbox asking for help.
If possible, avoid it and looks for other alternatives.

Hi,
We are sorry it is taking our support team so long to get back to you. We are a very small team and are working as hard as we can to get to people as quickly as possible.

It works well

I have the Nadir package in which you don't have to pay anything for your sim card. It works well; the process to request travel passes abroad is a little bit tedious though.

No response from CSA

I understand Seeek is a startup with teething problems. Perhaps more info on their website would be helpful.
Had great CSA from Kaleena as I needed a Travel Pass for next week, esim pass was issued. Fingers crossed that data just rolls over and I dont have to be in touch weekly.
So far so good!
Update- zero CSA response for a month, travel pass DID not work in Europe as promised. No clue what is going on, emailed since returning and still no response.

Seeek in Canada

I have used Seeek for a while with their free 3GB monthly service. It is my backup plan, so I do not have high expectations. When the eSIM was activated, everything worked well. Once the eSIM expired after 7 days, it was not automatically renewed, so I contacted the support to get a new eSIM. It took some time to get this done, but the turnaround time is improving. Hopefully, the eSIM will get automatically renewed going forward.

Customer support is inconsistent but mostly helpful

I bought the NADA sim card queue skip for €6 and it worked fine for a week and then the sim card stopped working (no service), so I contacted the support and Connor (supposedly the founder of Seeek) provided me with a new sim card, which also stopped working after a few days. I haven’t heard back from them since (it’s been three weeks and I’ve messaged them at least once a week).

Can’t recommend, I’ll try to get my money back.

UPDATE 13 MAY:
The support has finally replaced my esim and everything seems to work (for now). I will update the review once I know that it works for good. The new dashboard looks nice; it seems like they are actually trying to improve their service.

Hi,
Thank you for the feedback and we are sorry our service didn't live up to your expectations. As with any technology sometimes things can be faulty and when that happens we do troubleshoot or reset/reissue eSIMs to people.

Service went down on april 8th and was never restored. Tried to contact them daily since and no answer. i believe over 2 weeks waiting is overly patient, even if the team is small!! Im still 2 weeks out of service. Cant recommend at this time. Spend your money wisely, regardless of the amount.

Update: The team NEVER got back to me

Hi Sebastien,
Thank you for leaving us a review, I'm sorry it has taken a long time for our support team to get in contact with you. Our team is small yes, but it makes it increasingly harder for us to answer chats in a timely manner when people open multiple - this helps create an unnecessary backlog of chats that we then have to work through as well.

Top offer

Even though the service is currently very busy and you may have to wait a little longer for an answer, the service is professional, competent, reliable and always friendly.

Very nice and quick help.
I have had the e-SIM in operation for about 2 weeks. After the validity expired automatically, it was not automatically renewed by the system. A nice request to support - I was helped quickly.
I will definitely recommend SEEEK.
