Signature Home Improvements 

On a neighbour recommendation reached out to Signature recently. Very good response from Rakheem by email. Came to our house on 22nd January and promised a response by 24th. That felt ambitious but sent polite follow up emails chasing a response 26th January and 29th January. No response. Left a message with the office who promised he would get back and still nothing and we are now 10th February 2025. I have no issue if there are problems getting quotes or delays - it just needs communication and in this case I have received nothing. It is appalling and a surprise as my neighbour highly recommended this company. What is more it has delayed my decision making process as I wanted to see what was possible with a bespoke aluminium arched window.

Signature took a deposit from me in June 2024 for delivery 13 weeks later. After numerous missed appointments, I have now found that the order was never placed with the manufacturers. I believe this is Fraudulent Trading and the Directors can therefore be held personally responsible for their actions. The administrators, once appointed, have a duty to investigate this, so please inform them if you have had a similar experience

Paid 2 lots of money into them for our windows only had 10% left to pay made 3 mistakes on measurements so they told us we have to wait for the manufacturer to make more didn't know how long that would take heard nothing back for weeks so tried getting in touch next got email stating gone bust administrator was going in nothing we can do till this is done so no money back or get our windows and we have one window wedged in as was to small had to put in as removed the old window before checking so what you to do no money to finish it off as they have our money so up shit creek great

Like others we received the email this morning about insolvency ordered on Signature. We placed our order the end of November and paid the 50% deposit. Our external doors are now on hold but looks unlikely we will be able to claim our deposit back since it was paid by bank transfer. We would quite happily take the doors (provided they were actually made before the hold was put in place) and have another company fit them.
This isn’t something that has happened over night and to take more orders and money knowing they were already struggling to complete current ones is unethical.

In administration. My deposit lost. They must have known when I paid it. Devastated.

We are devastated to find today that this company is now in administration having paid 90% of the bill and only 50% of the work has been completed. Our initial order and a deposit paid was at the beginning of August. They failed to complete the work despite assurances that a date was forthcoming at the beginning of December. Communication has been very poor throughout - we have had to do the chasing! Be aware the website is stating that the sales office is still open.

In November we paid a deposit for windows and have just received an email saying they are in administration. No phones are being answered at the Chichester HQ unit. Communication has been at best sporadic from them, obviously because they’ve been struggling financially since late 2024. £1,000’s lost. 🤬

PS: a review of their Companies House entry shows that the Company is still ‘active’ (3/2/25). Their claimed accreditations such Trustmark are likely fraudulent. They supposedly have insurance to cover paid deposits, however I never received ANY documentation from them with details of this and never received any form of receipt for the deposit paid.

PPS: I’ve since found out that (a) a 50% deposit is highly unusual and (b) their prices are significantly higher than comparable competitors. This leads me to wonder if there is a case for fraudulent activity as I feel certain based on evidence that the Directors knew the company was failing when deposits were taken in late 2024. If so, civil action against the Directors themselves could be explored.

This company are in administration. My order was delayed and installation dates moved a number of times. I have spent thousands of pounds and have no doors. Communication was at best poor. I would not recommend , buyer beware.

This company is going under administration. We made an order for windows with Signature in December. Since last week we've been trying to contact them to discuss the details of the delivery as we have a whole house refurbishment starting in March however instead of speaking with a representative from the Signature company we keep talking to a receptionist who takes our details and promises to pass it on. Finally, today we've received an email with a message: 'The business has been forced to cease trading at this time and is in the process of appointing an Administrator.
Our 50% deposit is gone.

Company is going in administration. Don't send any money.

Warning we were pushed into giving 3 large payments for our windows last one only recently with the promise of the installation date - there was obviously going to be no installation date and have been ripped off knowingly that that were in financial trouble. This is money we cannot replace or get back ! Be aware !

Door handle quality poor, worn reflective silver coating on plastic handle... thought it was actually a metal solid fitted handle replaced once under gaurentee, now needs replacing again as wobbling and worn plastic.. poor quality handle, seats very quickly, treated with respect and care, yet worn out at handle rotating point on door. Still under gaurentee, Trying to contact through website contact page at moment not very successful. Need a better and different quality unit fitted as requested in email... watch this space, will update!

This company is now in administration and has not delivered my bifold doors. I lost a lot of money. Beware.

The sales person was so nice and friendly . Nothing as an issue from him . We did the business . Simple and straightforward. Everything with the process was seemless from contact to sales to installation . Btw the installers were great . Price fair ! So highly recommend , way better than the rest .

We had 8 windows and 2 sets of patio doors, one behind a juliette balcony on the first floor, all fitted to a great standard in 4 days. Charlie and Josh did a great job and kept us informed of their work plan at the end of each day. Great service by the whole team from start to end working around our work schedules nicely.

Charlie and Josh were lovely considerate workmen who did a very efficient job. The whole process was seamless- very happy

Excellent service. New door fitted 26th September by Charlie and Josh. They were punctual, considerate, professional and very conscientious. They started and finished on time as planned and clean up thoroughly before they left. I would certainly use Signature again and are highly recommended.

Signature just installed french door and window and a new kitchen door. This was not an easy process given the age of the property. The guys were fantastic from start to finish. I was really impressed with the quality of the installation.

Josh and Charlie were polite and respectful.
They have made a really wonderful job on a lot of windows.
I can’t thank them enough.
