SingPost throws away your mail and parcels
I never had a parcel delivered properly by SingPost. The parcels either arrived in tatters, sent to the wrong home or went missing. As reported by local news several times, SingPost delivery people are known to throw away mails and parcels into trash bins. Customer service at SingPost offices is also horrid. SingPost in the 90s used to be good, so I can't rule out corruption or mismanagement in recent years.

Damn annoying
Damn annoying. Keep delivering my package to another unit. Not the first time already and then the person who gets my item would open them to see, and if it’s not valuable they just dump it in my gate.

One of the most horrifying service. Shipped two clothes packages from China to SG using vpost. One was detained by China customs with no reasons assigned according to Singpost email on 19 Oct. Chatted with Live agent Jhon. Textbook answers for half hour. With no light shed, he asked me to pay a visit to nearest post office for help and ended by saying I should refrain from sending prohibited items to prevent inconveniences. For heaven's sake, its a pair of pants!!! Called Singpost hotline, a Cristin said will call back by 2.30pm but did not. Called hotline on 20 Oct to speak to Cristin, call agent put me back to call selection menu. Second agent said will ask Cristin to call me but never. Spoke to Shan on 21 Oct who checked and asked me to obtain brand authorisation letter from seller on 24 Oct. Responded to Shan on 26 Oct that seller said the pants had no brand tagged and do not have such letter. Followed up twice and no response. Appreciate if Shan or anyone can help with this asap.
First of all, vpost charges me $11+ when other shipper charges me $3+. Price is not competitive and we still have to put up with such poor service. Will give zero stars if there is such an option!
Unreliable courier
Unreliable courier. Claimed to deliver my Lazada package to my letterbox when there was none. Likely delivered to wrong letterbox or kept the package. A total disgrace to Singapore.
Absolutely terrible shipment service…
Absolutely terrible shipment service provided by Singpost, horribly unreliable. They are supposed to pick up a parcel for shipment to UK scheduled on 29 Sept, but no-show, it took multiple calls and emails before I can finally get it rescheduled for collection on 20 Oct, and again waited whole day, it is a no-show for collection. When I called the hotline twice, it seems their operators are clueless about what can be done and they dont even have the means to contact the person who was supposed to collect the parcel for shipment and confirm on collection timing and even collection itself. What a disgrace for a postal company that has the title "Singapore" in front, supposed to be the pride of the country but most certainly not when its service and reliability to down the sinkhole and was no resolution to my issue.
Singapore Post is a Joke
14/10: My item arrived in Singapore. I learned by myself that I need to download and use their APP for upcoming tracking notifications.
16/10: I have been notified to pay tax (but without telling me how to pay), I spoke to customer service, and they told me to wait until the status update on the APP to make payment.
18/10: I waited two days for the App to update but didn't get anything. I decided to explore the App and found out there is this Pay With SAM; upon login and keying in the tracking id, I can make a payment and have received a notification right after the payment has been made(joke). Yes, I wasted two days doing nothing.
19/10: I got notified that my parcel is out for delivery. I waited a few hours at home for the package but received a message about unsuccessful delivery via the APP (without showing me the reason). I spoke to customer service again, and they told me I needed to pay tax, but soon they discovered I had paid it. They told me to wait for the next three days for the delivery because they were still processing my item(joke).
20/10: I decided to use their website to do a tracking check and found out that the reason for the unsuccessful delivery was that the address was incorrect/illegible. Yes, you are right! This information only appears on their website tracking history but not their App! I contacted customer service again and told them about the incorrect address issue; they apologized and said they would arrange for me to self-collect at the nearest post office. I'm pretty exhausted at that time, but if I can get my parcel ASAP, I am willing to travel down to the post office for collection. AT THE SAME TIME, someone rang the doorbell, and guess what? My item is here! Not the address issue, then?
What an experience I got it from Singapore Post seriously. The notification is inaccurate and not informative most of the time, while customer service has no idea what is happening and often provides vague/false directions. I sincerely hope you do not embarrass the name "Singapore"; please improve your service!
For your sanity, don't use Singpost
Horrible experience. I received a text claiming to be from singpost, directing me to a suspicious website. I contacted singpost customer service, provided all the details, and they couldn’t tell me whether the text is indeed from them or not. If they don’t know, who knows lol.
I don’t think it’s the customer service agent’s fault, their system appears to be incapable of giving me an answer on this. Singpost is a joke. Pls join us in the 21st century.
Update 1:
- Despite being promised an update on whether the SMS was legitimate or not, I never got one. It's been 3 days.
- Separately, it's been 2 days since my package was supposed to arrive. The customer service agent informed me that my package will be delivered on 19-Oct, so I made plans to be at home the whole day. The package didn't arrive.
- I contacted the helpdesk again on 19-Oct evening, I was told yet again that the package will arrive on 20-Oct before noon. So again, I made plans to stay at home in the morning. The package did not arrive.
- At this point, I don't even know if it's worth speaking to their helpdesk at all. Perhaps this is their way to forcing you to collect the package yourself and save them a trip.
Update 2:
- After calling their helpdesk yet again, I am now told that I have to wait 3 more working days (despite being told before, by the same customer service agent(!), that the standard procedure is for repeat deliveries to happen on consecutive working days). At this point, I don't even know if they still have my parcel anymore. It's just meaningless promises, one after another.
- I have requested to pick up the parcel myself. And was told that it isn't an option either. So I'm now stuck waiting around for the parcel to mysteriously be delivered, despite the 2 prior promises to deliver already broken.
Absolutely disgusting service quality. Would pay twice the amount to avoid having to deal with Singpost ever again. It's a stain on our country's name to have the Sing in Singpost.

A parcel of mine had been sent to an incorrect address and was due to be returned. I contacted Speedpost and the lady could not have been more helpful in dealing with my query. Eventually the parcel was sent to a nearby post office for collection. Extremely impressive and efficient service and thank you to everyone who helped me.

Singpost is an ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING AND IRRESPONSIBLE company. International parcel was delivered damaged. Delivery man offered to bring parcel back to Singpost for compensation proceedings. Subsequently, Singpost said parcel had failed delivery (i.e. pointing finger that recipient was not around to receive parcel) but that is fine. Customer service contacted to re-deliver parcel and file claim. After filling up the claim form, with a promise of 3-6 working days response, into the air they go. Radio silence even after 4 emails sent to follow up. 1 month on, no attempt to reach out to recipient still. Fantastic company! Where do you find such company still in existence today in a first world country?
Extremely terrible
Terrible experience. They delivered item to my door (when I was in the office) and didn't even call to check when I would be home to receive the package (or whether the package can be left outside). All three time they delivered I was at the office and didn't see a note til I've returned home (what courier still does this in 2022!!!). The website does not have any way for me to leave a trace of communication or schedule a redelivery. I DO NOT recommend Singpost to anyone.

Delay in parcel delivery
I purchased from an international merchant, and their last mile delivery partner locally is Singpost. I never received my parcel, and the value of that is lost. I have had 4 calls with their customer service, and they said they would do 2 things that they never came through with. I would urge you to avoid merchants who use Singpost, there is a chance you will not get your parcel, coming from my example. (I have the case number, unresolved, for reference).
Update: it took a good 5 weeks but I finally got my parcel. I appreciate that Singpost did not give up on the case. There is still some efficiencies to be desired from the customer experience, but I appreciate the effort and the delivery.

Singpost to me is not worth even 1 star. They mishandled my parcel and said no trace of it. When they keep dropping cards on my door instead of leaving the parcel in the mailbox, which fix. Written 10 emails for correspondence on the parcel but none responded, not even one call back. Absolutely devastating and upset. Until I literally physically drop by ghim moh post office on 2 attempts and finally a Malay lady help to solve the puzzle. Thousand of thanks to the Malay girl at the front counter in ghim moh post office. 6 stars for her instead.
