Avoid this delivery service

A simple parcel will take at least 2 months to deliver to Australia. Always avoid, note that fast delivery times are no longer applicable to this service which after covid is nearly extinct.

CNSGS000163211. Utterly horrible service and experience. Tracking indicates parcel has failed delivery attempt on 22nd July when there was people around the whole day. Calls to the hotline was not through even after 45 mins wait. Online chat requires to queue for more than an hour and once connected, you are required to type something EVERY 3 mins to stay connected, even if their customer service is not replying. Needless to say, the customer service was slow in the reply and eventually you will get tired and just drop off by yourself.

Why bother having a Customer Service if you just want to give the customer frustration?

It has been 9 days since the tracking update. I till have 0 clue on the status of my parcel.

Good Service of Delivery Personnel

I was not at home when the delivery person from Singpost was to deliver a parcel. He tried to call me and send me messages about the delivery but I was not available at that time. When I responded later to the delivery person's (Henry Ang Choon Howe) message, he was very responsive. Henry made an extra effort to go back to my place to deliver the parcel after I told him to leave my parcel on the pillar of my house. After which, he even took a picture and sent to me to inform me of the delivery. Henry is one the only few responsible and responsive delivery persons whom I have encountered so far. I really appreciate his professionalism as a delivery personnel. Nowadays, it is rare to come across delivery personnel who are so service oriented. Keep up the good work, Henry!

Worst Postal Agency Ever

I would give this 0 stars if I could. We had used a Malaysian postal service to bring an electronics package over from KL to Singapore, but the package got transferred to Singpost when it reached Singapore Customs. Thereafter, Singpost gave a timeline of 2 working days to deliver the package. On the second day, the tracking link was updated to 'Delivered' but no person attempted delivery. We were present throughout the day, and there was no doorbell/knock and no mail in our letterbox. We tried contacting customer service via their hotline and online chat but it was utterly useless. Every time you try to contact them, they will put you on hold and the call will be dropped. I personally visited the SingPost office to check on the package, and one driver visited my home to investigate, and they claimed they "tried" to deliver, but there was no evidence of delivery. We pressed to get more evidence, but lo and behold, Singpost disappeared and stopped giving updates. We assume either the package was stolen or they had messed up with the delivery. Either way, where is the accountability?

Worst service I have ever experienced

Would like to give 0 if possible. Worst service I have ever experienced and it happens several times so I believe it's not an accident. In my opinion:1>The deliveryman are not doing their job at all. My recent parcel with clear address and contact number indicated is missed. The website shows delivered but I never received. The deliveryman did not give any notifications at all on that day, not even an SMS or message. He/She just put the parcel to somewhere unknown and left. The parcel contains many valuable items and I waited that parcel for a month. As a result, I need to waste a large amount of time to contact with their customer service.How ironic it is! I pay them postal fee to receive anger and disappointment plus a risk of losing my parcel. Coincidentally, this problem happens on other parcels as well. I am sure those parcels are with accurate address but the website always shows 'incomplete/ invalid address'. I highly suspect that their deliveryman are lazy to deliver so they just any how find the excuse to blame on their customers, and ask customers to collect themselves so that these deliveryman can do less job. 2>Extremely inefficient customer service. There are 2 ways to contact their CS: One is through hotline, the other is via online chat. Their hotline is more like 'coldline' since it always has no one to pick up, it will really be a miracle that someone answers your call which never happens to me. The online chat needs to queued for hours, and some CS are perfunctory--problem is being reflected for days (more than the duration they promised) and there are still 0 update. Overall, The service makes me feel a sense of disgustingness and I will never use their sick service again! I do not understand why such delinquent and sickening service can still exist till now.

Nightmare postal service

Use this courier service at your own risk.. parcel always go missing before it even leaves singapore..I believe that things can never go missing unless it is stolen.

I sent a registered letter from…

I sent a registered letter from Singapore to Malaysia on 30 Jun, till 15 Jul, it still hasn’t been delivered. I tried to call customer service several times, they are always busy and ask you to hold, but no answer; I also tried “live chat”, after almost one hour waiting, it ends up to useless answer. Very frustrated.

really really bad n frustrating experience

Delivery without calling/msging in advance, so for sure the delivery will be missed each time.
Leave a note without contact info so I cannot get in touch with them either.

Stay Away from SingPost and EMS

Absolutely poor service! Parcel being held up at EMS Singapore (accordingly to Japan Postal Service System Tracking).

Unable to track parcel at EMS Singapore site! No one call or SMS to inform receiver need to pay duty. No instruction on what's next.

Spent another hour on-line with help line (EMS) to guide through payment via mobile apps and being told that I have to await another 3 working days to get my parcel!!!

Offer to help give input via escalation to manager but was told that the answer would be the same. Customer will still have to wait. Apparently, SingPost not willing to learn from improve from such bad customer experience incident.

Amazing experience. Never to engage their service again. Period!

Definitely the worst postal service - SINGPOST!

Definitely the worst postal service ever.
Called 4 times to 1605 and was promised a return call but never got any. Need to add that you will be put on hold for almost an hour each time
Wrote 2 emails but the reply did not address the issue of the missing item.
Never will I have my items handled by SingPost!
Anyway, still trying to find out the reason for the undelivered item.

The worst experience ever about the delivery

The whole process was so excruciating! The carrier didn't complete his duty of sending the parcel in punctual time and decent way. Besides, it's so unbelievable that the efficacy is low and no credit as a company should behave. The customer service was nice and willing to help. But there's a problem was that no one can assure the precise delivery time and kept promising the customer but eventually was kept deceiving the customer repeatedly. The whole process was totally wasting time. Please train your staff to respect every client's demands and not play them as fools.

Was home the whole time & no doorbell…

Was home the whole time & no doorbell ringing but saw a notice on the floor outside gate while daughter was going out. Missed delivery? No ringing of doorbells at all? Chat online with cust. svc to no avail, not helpful, rude and cut off the chat while I was typing a reply. How ridiculous hv our national postal becomes? Might as well shut down the whole op.

Never ever trust these people!!!!

Never ever trust these people. My parcel is missing since April 24th which is one and a half months ago.
I have called up over 20 times and have asked to speak to a manager only to be told that they would call me back. They never did!

Yesterday called up and asked the lady to give me the information so I could claim on the insurance, she refused to give me the information and told me she would get a manager to call me back- they never did.

The insurance value was $1000 as it was a watch. They have not even updated their system since the 28th April and this is the last update I have.

They are happy to take your money but when something goes wrong as it obviously has in this case, they are unwilling to help. I will never, ever use their services again!!! BEWARE!!!

Disappointed customer.

As delivery attempt was made on 25th May at 9am. People was at home but some show item wasn’t delivered.
I called as QR code was not valid as the ref code was to ninja post even though sing post was delivering.
I call on 27th to see if I could get item to be collected as I have already waited nearly 30days for the item.
Person at Singpost tells me will expedite as allow me to pick up at Serangoon post office if I don’t want the 2nd attempt.
Today is 30th Tue abd no news from Singpost
I called again now they say have to wait 3 more days to come back to me.

Very disappointed with the service.

The one star rating on google is not a joke. It's one star for a good reason. Customer service via the phone line is absolutely clueless and different operators give different answers regarding a simple query. Almost like they are using different software to check on the status of parcels.

Thursday, 26 May 2022, 2.30pm – Received email at (Email address#1, the one registered on VPost) that my package has been received at the warehouse and I needed to provide more information

Thursday, 26 May 2022, 2.45pm – Called ‘1605’ and was told by the operator that I had to provide the MSDS for my package.

Thursday, 26 May 2022, 2.55pm – Received email at (Email address#2, no idea how they got my other email which I don't actively use anymore) with reference number CAS-6398236-Z6W4K8 CRM:03200556 informing me that I had to provide MSDS

Thursday, 26 May 2022, 3.31pm – (Sent Email #1) Replied with a copy of the MSDS and other supporting information.

Thursday, 26 May 2022, 4.07pm – (Sent Email #2) Sent a second email with more supporting information.

Friday, 27 May 2022, 10.34am – Called ‘1605’ to verify if the MSDS was received. Operator confirmed that the document has been received and the warehouse is processing it. Operator informed that she would try to expedite the process.

Monday, 30 May 2022, 5.06pm – Called ‘1605’ to check for an update regarding my parcel. Was told by the operator that only (Email #2) was received and the system did not reflect any MSDS.

Monday, 30 May 2022, 6.44pm - Used online chat to check on the parcel status and was assigned to Anand Maurya (or Khan, Ujma). Explained my situation and got no reply for 12 minutes.

Monday, 30 May 2022, 7.06pm - Restarted the chat because the previous operator was not responding. Got assigned to Kumari, Vandana. Operator was not able to understand my query and could only say "our team is still working on your case so kindly wait for next update". Upon further prompting, he said "We received your MSDS form and we already raised a request with our relevant team".

My question is why do different operators inform me of different things? From the start, there was no email confirmation of whether my MSDS was received and no updates whatsoever.

Now I would like to redirect the parcel back to my seller so that he can send another package using express mail from thailand post, costing me an additional $13 for the redirecting service and I have no idea of what is going to happen to my parcel.

What a horrible way to ship parcels. Would not recommend unless you want a stroke.

Zero communication with delivery!

Worst company in delivery services in singapore, no sms or calls to communicate with receiver if they are not around to receive the package until you finally find them regarding your delivery! only then you know they only update via online tracking from their site, with nothing that notify us how are we going to know if a delivery is made? delivery man did not ever bother to leave a delivery notification on the reattempt for the 2nd and 3rd delivery.

When checking up on the delivery, staff told me it is on the way back to sender? seriously we had to put up with this kind of service in 2022? so wow they just came and don't even give a damn if you are home to receive it or not? what if we are working outside and we can't even make arrangement for a time slot.
Hello? what is this?. Singpost if you are reading this please wake up!

Sent to wrong address and did not responsible

I have package consist of supplements from USA and they sent to wrong address. After 2 months i just realized this happens (I bought a lot of items from overseas) and asked them where my package was. They just then retrieved the package and then giving it to the right address but it has been consumed almost half of it. When asked about this Singpost just apologize but not giving any compensatory money for my lost. What a terrible company

Terrible Service and Operational Policies

Order something online to be delivered to my Singapore address. First of all in the age of online shopping, SingPost does not even provide the option to leave items in a safe place near the entrance. All other couriers provide such a service. Second of all, when contacting them to do self-collection, the portal sucks. How would I know if it is "postal service", "Speedpost" or "vPost" ? why do I have to go and search deeper to decipher their range of products when I need help? That's terrible ops planning. Resolution center should just consolidate everything into one portal and allow us to get help by providing the tracking number. Segregation of your complicated product lines when requiring support is just plain stupid. Also, they will make 3 attempts before sending the parcel back to sender, whatever for when you cannot control delivery timing and also it can only be delivered on working days when I will surely be at work? Honestly, the only reason this stupid postal service company is alive is because it is the state's default courier. Contact center personnel sounds unempathetic and give attitude, operations wise things are badly planned, service recovery procedure (help center) is badly designed. I will choose other courier option for all my online shopping from now on. Seriously it's 2022, catch up with the times please.
