Worst customer service ever
Customer service is worst I’ve ever dealt with in my life I had a z flip 6 and was under warranty and had a software fault black screen of death.. I rang customer service was Indian person sent out a package to send phone off warranty was rejected because there was a scratch on the screen so sent phone back so phoned again another Indian speaking person answered and I was pushed to about 5 different people about issue including the broadband team, then I got told if I resend my phone off they’ll cover the phone costs once again sent phone off company asked for £400 to fix so re sent back so back on phone for 3rd time sent again so this was going on over 6 weeks for this problem and still not resolved so sent phone back to sky and refuse to pay for phone.
I’ve also emailed sky several times about issues not one reply in months
Terrible
If I could give 0 I would. Terrible customers service. I paid my last bill to Sky and they telling me that I didn’t, even though I presented my bank statements. Reported me debt collectors for £28 bill !!!! Wow! Waste of time talking to anyone. Disappointed after I have been using Sky for the past 10 years.
Awful experience
Awful experience.. luckily contract comes to an end shortly.
Had to change my direct debit date which resulted in a bill of nearly £200 just for changing the day in contract by a few days this had an effect on me and my family as I didn’t have enough money for bills.
Also their customer service is appalling. Takes ages to get through when you found the number, when you get through to someone overseas they have a script which takes about 15 minutes for them to read they don’t listen to you because they’re too busy reading the script eventually when I had asked what I wanted and got the answer, I put the phone down because the script was still being read to me, then the person that I was speaking to rang me back. They kept saying that I was a Sky Customer for over 20 years and really valued my custom blah blah blah blah blah unfortunately they didn’t value me that much as I’ve gone over to Voxi :)

Title: Shame on You, Sky – A Company That Fails When Customers Need Them Most
I am absolutely appalled and deeply disappointed by my recent experience with Sky Mobile. After undergoing a serious medical operation, I reached out to Sky to explain my situation and was advised that I would be placed on a six-month holiday plan, where payments would be reduced to ease the burden during my recovery. I was told this would take a few days to process and that I would receive a callback to confirm everything.
That call never came.
I gave Sky the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently for the promised follow-up. After seven days, still no response. I called again and was reassured someone would contact me within 24 hours. No one did. I chased this several more times, each time receiving a new empty promise from a different advisor. Meanwhile, I relied on my phone to stay in contact with my healthcare providers and family.
Then, without warning, Sky restricted my phone line. No calls, no messages, no access—during one of the most vulnerable and critical periods of my life. They completely ignored the agreement we had discussed and instead demanded full payment—not the reduced ‘holiday’ amount they had promised, but the full, unaffordable bill. No notice, no courtesy call, not even a letter. Just silence… followed by disconnection.
This isn't just poor customer service—it's dangerous. In times of crisis, when communication is essential, I was cut off completely. And to make matters worse, the only way I could stay connected was to take out a new SIM plan with another provider just to be able to use my own phone again.
Let me be clear: Sky failed me at every step.
They misled me with false promises. Their overseas customer service teams repeatedly failed to action anything or escalate the issue. And the result? I was left isolated and helpless when I needed support the most. The stress this has caused, while already managing a medical recovery, is completely unacceptable. No compassion. No accountability. Just automated demands and stone-cold silence.
Sky Mobile’s business practices are a disgrace. They claim to support their customers, but in reality, it seems like they’re only there for you when your payments are on time—not when you need actual support. This is not just bad service—it’s negligent.
To anyone considering Sky Mobile: please think twice. They offer you lengthy contracts with no flexibility, and if life throws something at you—illness, financial difficulty, or personal hardship—they’ll leave you high and dry. They’ll damage your credit, they’ll restrict your services, and they’ll make no real effort to fix the situation.
I will never take another contract with Sky again, and I will never buy a mobile phone from them again. I have lost all trust in this company.
Shame on you, Sky.
You had a chance to do the right thing, and you failed.
Do you want two waste MONTHS of your LIFE?
Do you want two waste weeks, months of your time? BUY SKY MOBILE!
Bunch of useless tweets, I have purchased mobile on 30th of June 2025, brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max, it supposed to be delivered on 1st of July (I hope same year).
My account after the order was hacked, blocked, I have lost access to my sky TV, Sky on demand and paying £96 per month!
Made it complaint, after complaint after complaint, and USELESS SKY TEAM, did NOTHING! They do not even know what is wrong with it as have no access to my account (WHAT???).
Today guy from sky rang and asked me how is my mobile phone and if I am happy using Sky Mobile,.,
How this company even operate??
Can someone be that stupid and useless? Never had something like this in my life...
Do not touch those tweets!
Don't phone Sky if you wish to see tomorrow
Phoned Sky Mobile this morning with a view to returning a new mobile android device which is still well within its cooling off period.
After eventually passing the unnecessarily painstaking automated series of questions (the automated "service" is completely futile), I was transferred to a subconscious female member of standing.
After repeating the reason why I was calling Sky Mobile, she asked me to repeat all of the details I had already confirmed on the automated system and then proceeded to ask for the last two digits of my bank account number of which I pay my Sky Mobile from via DD.
She said to me on three occasions I was relaying the wrong two digits when I wasn't. Naturally, this led to me being increasingly frustrated.
I asked her if she was looking at my Sky TV, Broadband, and Talk account instead of my Sky Mobile account as I pay this from my other bank account, and she said she was. Dumbfounding, considering I was phoning about my Sky Mobile account, of which by now I had repeated on six separate occasions.
Eventually, after much neefless and avoidable angst, she located my Mobile account and confirmed the last two digits of my bank account of which I had correctly relayed previously was indeed right.
She then asked me to confirm my home address details again in order for a pre-paid postage label and packaging to be sent out to me in order to return the new mobile.
Understandably, at this point After being on the phone for 15+ minutes, I asked for a compensatory goodwill gesture for the diabolical "customer service" I had been subjected to. The staff member, without notification, transferred me to one of her male colleagues with use of her sloppy shoulders.
He asked me for the reason for my call! In despair, I replied to say "Did your colleague not advise you what the reason for my call was?" He responded to say "No". Again, he asked me to relay the last two digits of my bank account number of which I pay my Sky Mobile account from, and again I was told I was wrong. I asked him if he was into my.other Sky account and, within nanoseconds, he transferred to another colleague without forewarning.
The third member of staff I spoke to was woeful. Enough said.
Sky used to be one of the best companies to deal with but they have drastically went downhill in recent years, so much so, if this standard of customer service they currently provide continues, they'll be falling off a cliff into the Indian Ocean.
The most inept customer service I've…
The most inept customer service I've ever experienced. Over and over again, from department to department, I've been let down. My mobile number won't port across properly after 2 weeks and none of them know why, nor are they making any effort to fix it. Just constantly being made to do their trouble shooting steps in over 4 hours of phone calls over 2 weeks. One guy actually was so baffled I used CHATGPT and he spent 20 mins following instructions from there.
Have been with sky TV for almost 20 years and honestly the customer service has gotten progressively worse. Beyond angry and highly recommend avoiding them like the plague
The worst mobile network I've ever used in 22 years
The local mast was removed on June 16 and no notification was given by Sky. I phoned them and they blamed my phone and tried to sell me a Galaxy S25 on a 3 year contract for £1300. Finally the mast was replaced on July 4 but since then I've had no signal. Worst of all is that Sky do not partition WiFi calling on phones of their choice. Mine is a Pixel 6 Pro which has WiFi calling partitioned off in the back settings of the SIM. Sky denied they had any control over this and kept blaming my phone. Eventually after a new customer to my business couldn't hear me whilst on a call from my phone, I went over to Vodafone and the WiFi calling was automatically reinstated, thus meaning I am able to make calls and get a perfect signal again. I have no bias to any network but the combination of a woeful lack of knowledge and even telling outright lies by their staff, combined with a poor signal and disabling of factory installed phone settings mean that Sky mobile were the worst mobile network provider I've ever used in 22 years.
Excellent business
The owner & his wife are very pleasant, professional & the prices seem fair. Excellent service. I would solidly recommend.

Sky are unable to update my account due to a change of e-mail address meaning that I am unable to use my Piggybank point and now lost them.
Have been requesting this update for over three years and every time they fail!!!
They are still able to take moneys out of my account and don’t seam to have an issue with updating that!
Sky mobile are incompatible fools
We had some issues with mobile sim so we contacted sky to sort out the problem I wish never bothered teck skill level was novice to say the least, he kept insisting it was out of date software after trying to explain that sim and operating system have nothing to do with each other the he suggested trying put in another phone which I did not have over all I seen better kid solve issues
Ordered a phone swap online new phone…
Ordered a phone swap online new phone came and as per Skys instructions took the sim out of the old phone and put it in new phone. Works ok. Went on to my Sky account to find out I now have 3 live sims and paying for all 3. Took me 3 phone calls to sort this out. First 2 calls to the overseas call centre could not help so I was just cut off. Terrible terrible service and experience.
Sky - never again....
Sky as a whole are a very large and impersonal company. Having been a loyal customer for over 15 years, when things went awol personally, because my ex had been the account holder and left without passing on passwords etc.. I was unable, (bearing in mind that the payment came from my account), to access any details from the account, change an address or make changes to my own mobile account. Very dismissive of modern day family situations and forced a meeting with someone with whom there should not have been any contact.
Worst network I have ever been with
Worst network I have ever been with. For over a year now I've had connection problems. My phone will ocasionally not be able to make calls, it will simply just disconnect when dial is pressed. People phoning me will get the messsage they have dialed an incorrect number. The only way to resolve the problem is to turn on airplane mode for a few seconds then back off. The phone will then work ok till next time. I check my phone every morning for connection by dialing my home number. Sky have never fixed this for me. I have tried a new SIM, different phones etc etc still the same issue. I have learned to live with it for now as I don't want to take the chance Sky mucking up a number transfer as I need to keep my number. The cost of service is also cheap so I suppose you do get what you pay for. I will change provider eventually
Phone Trade In
I upgraded to a new phone with them and sent my old one back as part of their trade-in offer. It’s been weeks since they confirmed they received my phone, but I’ve still not received the money. I’ve emailed multiple times asking either for the payment or for my phone to be returned, but I haven’t had a single reply. They have my phone and I have nothing — how is that fair? It feels completely unethical and unacceptable.
Very very poor reception with SKY mobile & other providers
Very very poor reception, unable to receive or make calls from home or outside of home Repeatedly drops internet reception , so disappointed with sky, l taught it was going to be brilliant. Rang sky numerous times, no joy, they can’t help or improve it for us. l have to pres airplane mode 20 times a day to get connection back, l was in Spain a few months, l had 100% reception & coverage. So l don’t think the masts in Ireland are able to deal with this . We live in mountain area but Spain had mountains also. Tesco mobile was brilliant yrs ago, now it’s as bad as sky. Eir was absolutely useless & so horrible to deal with. My only option with to try Three.

before i was imigrating to colombia i wrang sky agent ,i said if i wanted to cancel my sim card contract could i he had said yes as your circumstances have changed as this is change of address in a different country with know service ,so he told me there is no extra costs no termination fees, so i moved to colombia, then i had some money taken out of my bank from sky ,?? so i wrang a agent again and asked what was going on ,she said he should have not given me wrong imformation ,so this lady cancelled my contract also and also said i dont need to pay anything even put my money what they had taken out of account and put onto a credit agreement what i have with them, this week i recieved a statment from sky i owe them £100 charges for finishing early on my contract i just find these people a bunch of liars say one thing and do another , very disappointed with sky terrible service
Sneaky Customer Service
My 2 sims came for renewal, so I called on 16June and agreed with double data and 25% discount to come into affect on 8Jul.
This didn't materialise, so called on 18th July , only to be told that deal wasn't available. Best she'll do is 20% discount whilst telling me I'm a valued VIP customer of 7 years.
When I said I'm not happy and thus leaving, she said she'll apply the 20% whilst I'm looking at other providers. I refused because I knew this would tie me up for another 12 months. When I asked to clarify, she finally admitted it would tie me up for another 12 months.
Very Very Sneaky indeed.
Absolutely awful to deal with
Absolutely awful to deal with. Took me 4 hours to get someone to cancel a SIM that wasn't working. Avoid at all costs!
