Great service, rubbish system

Don’t get me wrong I’m delighted with the mobile coverage… also with the customer service and especially the monthly cost…
However, when they have a big issue with their network… namely when one calls a voice mail system and you are asked to respond my pressing 1,2,3 etc… their system does not recognise any sound from your phone! It’s not my phone , they have openly admitted it’s their system that’s at fault- wouldn’t you think it can’t be rocket science to fix.. they suggest a new sim … that doesn’t fix it!
Come on boys get the finger out… think of the customers you are about to loose

Stay clear of sky mobile

Stay clear of sky mobile. The service in my house is shocking and they will do nothing about it. I had st spend £200 on a mesh system to get signal in my cottage. You get sold the dream and live the nightmare. You only get put through to the offshore call centre. A nuclear bomb has better people skills than those idiots. They don't do as you ask and are incapable sorting out any problem. They have to be the worst mobile service provider around because of their customer service team.. utterly utterly rubbish. Stay well clear of sky mobile. A carrier pigeon would do a better job than this bunch of idiots. I've been with them about 4 months and it's been crap service from day one and they won't release me without a charge.

I would give no stars if possible what…

I would give no stars if possible what a nightmare
I cancelled my sky my subscription but not my mobile sub for some reason Which sky cannot explain my mobile sub account was cancelledthough still taking payments after two weeks of waiting for them to sort it out I decided to leave.
He requested a pak code after 50mins and three people later they agreed to send pak code via email three weeks later nothing I tried contacting via X sky help team no help at all .
I’m was told can’t send code via social media I wasn’t asking this I was as asking them to contact relevant dept and ask them to send it nothing
after txting back and forth I will as given a number to ring totally ignoring the fact that I had no service that’s why I was texting through X
When pointed this out I was told it was a number to use when I get access to a phone which meant buying a new sim with a different company obviously to contact them
I googled sky mobile services and rang one of the numbers it turns out it was as a scam I almost fell for it before becoming suspicious as the guy “Alex wanted the pass code of my private email to send me an email with my pass code .
Reported this via X help team and was told there was confusion as sky sometimes ask for maybe two digits of bank details.
I replied I’m not confused I sent them the number and they verified 020 is not a sky number perhaps if they had ask d for the number themselves they could have investigated
The reply was sorry this happened to you we’ve checked and it’s not our number how did they not know this
I’m then asked if it was as a bot confirming my account?
Why couldn’t they ring themselves then do something about it if they knew it was as they a sky number?
No one kno s what they are doing you get passed around and lied to
Please do not go with this company they only care when they are receiving payments no concern or knowledge I have as almost scammed trying to recover a pak code It’s cost metime and money and great inconvenience changes to my number forcing me to changing email add at the bank all because sky couldn’t do a simple thing like send a pak code
The incompetence is stupefying the upheaval the cost and the stress have been enormous so sky please send me a pak code
I raised a complaint but other than official acknowledgment but nothing since I would not advise anyone to use sky mobile the customer service is the worst I I’ve encountered and the. Signal is poor save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere

No customer service

They need to look up what customer service means. Four weeks after ordering a new handset and saga after saga, having to call again and again and getting different answers, I’m still waiting over 5 days later for a response to my complaint and still don’t have a new handset.

I gave 1 start because it was the lowest i could give.

I got tow tablets for my business in January. Its June. Neither are woking or activated. Trying to resolve this is nothing short of shambolic. I cannot speak to anyone. The online help is not help as far as i understand the definition. i have tried with the virtual assistant. Useless.

I have stopped the payments in the hope this would help me get somewhere. All that this brought were letters threatening to effect credit ratings.

One of the worst experiences I have had with any supplier.

Should be on rip of Britain

-1 folks

Looking for a new phone so took a few days to choose and a pretty good one at that.
Now from £28 however don’t need a data plan so it went to £34.
I double checked the app and went to £60 per month,so I up graded the gb so yes final total £62 per month.
So a new iPhone over £2,200 I think not
And come tomorrow they can have a piece of my mind.
Do they just pick random numbers from the sky.
Am not that desperate for a new phone.
Shame on you sky.
But you don’t reply do you

Got sky mobile a couple of months ago…

Got sky mobile a couple of months ago and service isn’t the best. In Spain and was told roaming is the same as my contract at home and got a message saying I can use my phone the same as at home when I landed. Turns out that’s only to call numbers in Ireland and I’m charged for any Spanish calls I make. When I was with Vodafone the roaming was as it said, use the phone the same as at home and was never charged for a call on roaming. I’ll be moving my 3 sky mobile numbers back to Vodafone asap

Exactly how bad can customer service be?

If you thought your mobile provider was bad. Then try Sky to see how much worse it could be.
Spent over two hours onto Sky ‘customer services’ being lied to, dealing with people who are completely clueless and passed to over 10 different people.
I was advised that I was a diamond member. I said this entitled you to be treated like rubbish. The response was ‘not necessarily!’ Says it all!
If you have a sky mobile and travel to Republic of Ireland, you can no longer use mobile data. nobody in Sky is able to explain or resolve and will keep putting you on hold and then forwarding the call to anybody. I’ve been passed to Sky, q. Sky broadband, on 4 occasions during one call and the finally to cancellations.

It’s not the money. Life is just too short to deal with Sky and their staff. Go elsewhere and save yourself the grief.

Terrible experience trying to get PAC code

Terrible experience trying to switch my son’s phone to another network provider. Tried to request a PAC code via text nearly two weeks ago. Was told there was an issue on Sky’s side and that their “fraud investigations back office team” would need to call me to provide a PAC over the phone. Someone I spoke to said it was probably because I have two sims on my account. Surely that shouldn’t make any difference?!

Sky’s back office team did indeed try and call the following day but I was in the dentist and was unable to answer. They tried again the next day and I was also unable to answer due to being on a work call. They left a message saying they would try one final time the following day. I was due to go away for work the next day and would be travelling so knew I wouldn’t be able to a answer, so called Sky Mobile customer services and they said they would add a note to the system asking the back office team to call between 1-3pm the day after as I knew I would be able to get to the phone. Sadly, they failed to call. So I rang customer services again. They asked the team to make contact again but they didn’t. That was Saturday 14th June and I’m still waiting for a call. It’s been incredibly infuriating as a very simple process has been made too complicated. Apparently not even Sky Mobile customer services can speak directly the back office team, they can only send a secure message. My main problem with this ‘team’ is that they only try and call once a day at ANY time. No warning. No time window. It’s incredibly unrealistic to expect someone to be able to answer the phone especially when at work or at appointments. I am generally available 95% of the time to answer calls. It feels like I am being prevented from leaving Sky Mobile which is against my consumer rights. I understand that sometimes things need to be referred, but in this instance, I am only needing a PAC code for my son’s phone. Nothing complicated. I will be raising this issue with the Communication Ombudsman on Monday. I don’t see what other option I have.

Terrible, doesnt live upto promise

Sky has fell off. The only good thing about it is that you can save your data in the piggy bank and use later.
I am into my 3rd year using sky mobile and it is the worst network i have ever been on, and it only started this year. It never has signal, it just drops, sometimes in places ive had signal previously. I have the same issue with sky broadband too, whereas previously it was one of the best. Sadly have to say, stay clear. I love my piggy bank but thats as far as it goes. I live in the 2nd biggest city so theres no excuses about coverage. It doest matter about the weather because the signal is poor regardless. I usually try and stick it out but the signal is that bad its time to pay up the remaining months of my contract and move on. Do not recommend.

Overcharged again

Once again Sky have taken money they are not entitled to and then taken more than a month to pay it back.
First refund /overcharge for over 100 pounds took more than 6 weeks to get back .
This time I am still waiting for over 40 pounds to arrive and it's been nearly a month.
Everytime you phone they agree they owe you the money and you wait 3 to 5 days for it NOT to arrive , you then phone again and start the whole 3 to 5 day process again.
ITS MY MONEY

Do not use this network

Do not use this network, they promise you goos coverage and good deals but the coverage is useless, and the data coverage is even worse. I had a 75gb monthly allowance but whatever I didn't use rolled over. After 7 months I had over 500 gb of data in the bank which was useless as I was unable to use the data as it was so so poor. I had to pay £60 to cancel my contract early, as I went back to Vodafone, this VF network is absolutely brilliant. I wouldn't touch Sky Mobile if they gave me the contract for free. Use at your own risk, you have been warned. I gave it 1 star as it won't allow me to give it -3 stars.

Look elsewhere!!

Went with Sky on a sim only contract because of their coverage and the price. I absolutely regret changing over to them! Barely have any signal. Very rare I get 5G, most of the time I get 3G or no service. I’m a delivery driver and rely on maps but I get left in the dark when I only have 3G which nothing works or have no service whatsoever! Even Apple Music buffers! Over the last 7 days, 3 of them I had no service! This lasted more than an hour! Could only make emergency calls! These are places where I used to get 4G/5G! With Sky, nothing!! Been with Sky for less than 3months and will be terminating my contract and going elsewhere!

This company has robbed over a 1000 gig data from piggy bank yet no notification of this no emails well what I will say to sky is I have dealt with many companies and won against them now I will work out how much you have removed in price and then ecspect a court claim for the funds this review is also your 7 days notice of legal action as this is required that I give you and for all the other people you have robbed this is how you need to go. Forward avoid company will be closing all contracts with sky I sent a notification of this over a year ago so sky check your emails just like you say you have sent these false emails every customer I advise you choose another supplier see you at next court stage sky rip offs also people roll every bit of data over each month they then cant touch it as always be less than 12 months old

After 106gb data was removed from my piggy bank without consent I phoned sky up and obviously the person I spoke to had an accent so strong I needed to pleat fog and concentrate like I was performing brain surgery just to understand him. Turns out an invisible email was sent over 12 month ago ( which I have no record of) informing that sky can rob you of data over 12 month old even though contract states 36 month. They didn’t send any reminders and not even an email saying that have taken it. The conversation was so painful I would have had less pain sunbathing naked at Chernobyl. Proper scam artist who probably all work with the artful dodger. Joking aside they couldn’t care less and wouldn’t put me in touch with a manager. I would rather charge through the trenches with a piece of celery than deal with these clowns again. Time to move on.
