Rich Neilson of Smiths Financial has been fantastic in helping my partner and I secure our mortgage for our shared ownership property. Our circumstances weren’t completely straight forward and my partner and I were on the verge of giving up. Rich was really helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. He responded to all of our questions very quickly, and is continuing to advise and support us on our home buying journey. We would highly recommend him as a Mortgage Broker for anyone.

Me and my husband wanted to buy shared ownership house. We don't know what to do first, so we contact Rich from Smith Financial, and he gave our case to one of his mortgage broker / advisor Luke Patt. Our case is not easy through, because of our financial situation and also our job make it difficult to get mortgage. Many paper work to submitted. But our best mortgage advisor Luke Patt never give up. How hard our case and how many papers work that he has to submitted, he did everything to help us to get our dream house. One lender declined us after so many papers work submitted, but Luke found another lender which is more affordable for us. And he started again submitted our paper works from zero. After few weeks the application submitted, finally we got the mortgage offered. Can't thank you enough Luke Patt. You are the best. Thank you very much for your hard work, because of your help finally we can have our own house.

We needed to remortgage and release some equity at the same time, our current mortgage provider made this very complicated and we where unsure as to how to go about getting what we needed. One call to luke at smiths Financial and we where soon sat in his office getting much needed clear and concise advice and support. We went ahead and started the process of the remortgage. Luke and his business partner Richard where at the end of the phone and email at all times answering questions we had and could not be more helpful! They explained every step of the process as it was happening which made us feel very informed and they took all of the stress out of the whole process. I would not hesitate to recommend their service to friends and family and would use them again in the future if the need arises. The only reason I have not given 5 stars was due to our personal circumstances the fee was more than I had anticipated.

Very helped secure for my property with the HA and got the offer issued quicker as Halifax wanted to wait until the employer reference. And at last the lender wasn't require that because they trust the broker. Very efficiency company.

Richard Neilson is an absolute GENIUS! A True Legend!
Nothing is too complex for him and he knows exactly how to deal with any situations, communicating with updates every step of the way, even on evenings and weekends.
My situation was complex, being a freelancer with no permanent contract, my income isn't straight forward but for Richard, it was a walk in the park.
