The service we have received throughout has been outstanding. Our situation was a little more complex than your average remortgage and Richard worked tirelessly to find a solution that worked for us. He’s been so helpful and approachable throughout. We will definitely using Richard again in the future with all our financial needs. Thanks for a great service!

Smiths Financial secured us a great mortgage deal with low interest rate and huge overpayment allowance, even though we had tricky income. Rich worked tirelessly for us, replied to every message promptly, worked directly with our solicitor toward completion. We had a bombshell dropped on us by the sellers solicitor 2 days before completion, this was on a Friday, Rich contacted our lender on a Friday evening, liaised with our solicitor and had it sorted by Monday morning so completion was not delayed.

I don’t know how they manage to provide a service that is as good as it is, I know Rich had a number of other clients whilst dealing with our case but we never felt it, we felt like we were his only clients.

We have been more than happy with the services provided, the amount of work Rich undertook for us and the amount of trouble shooting he did was worth every single penny.

5 stars is not enough for the service Richard provides. He supports me from begin stressful journey of getting mortgage, believes more than I did, always positive and helpful anytime, very professional and inform about every step of the mortgage. Lots of advice too.

Richard has been incredible. I first contacted him over a year ago as l had seen that he was highly recommended and following divorce l was interested in a shared ownership property. He consistently goes above and beyond, answers my emails evenings and weekends which suits me to send but would never expect a reply until office hours. He calls at weekends, spends time explaining what things mean and the implications. Richard has now secured me a mortgage on a house without needing to use a shared ownership scheme and l have already warned him l will be in contact when the time comes for mortgage renewal. Luke is an excellent advisor. True to his word he has never steered us wrong. With our rate dropping from 6.19% to 3.95% we had to act fast and Luke really pulled out all the stops to get us a great deal! I think, until he stops being an advisor, we wont stop using him! Great from start to finish!

We used Rich Neilson as a mortgage adviser after seeing so many positive reviews. We were very impressed with the service we received. He explained the whole process to us right from the start and was very responsive whenever we had any questions. He helped us secure our mortgage and guided us through the process, keeping us updated throughout. I was very worried but after chatting with him he made me feel much more confident. When our mortgage offer came through Rich was on Annual Leave but as he knew I was worrying over it he contacted us to let us know which was very thoughtful. Just wanted to say if you are looking for a mortgage broker then don't look elsewhere use smiths financial. I was pointed in Richard's direction from a shared ownership group on Facebook and I applied for a shared ownership property on a chance as I didn't think it would be possible on a single income.

In the early stages Richard was so attentive and provided very clear options and explained things in a very down to earth way, as a first time buyer the process can be quite daunting but having Richard to provide advice and guidance has really made this process hassle free at one of the most stressful times in my life. The house choice was changed by my HA a few times but each time this was not an issue for Richard.
