We've been with Spusu for about a year now, and today was the first time I've had to contact them. I have to say that the advisor I spoke to (Carl) was absolutely top-notch: Friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Not the usual "corporate" rubbish you get from larger companies call centres at all. Absolutely refreshing change, and an enjoyable conversation with a good outcome.
I was getting messages saying I had a voicemail, when there was no voicemail. When I messaged their support it took them a long time to reply, the conversation that should have taken less than hour stretched over a week.
They said that these message were happening because the caller hadn't left a message, but then why send me a text saying I have a voicemail? Some of these messages were when my boss tried to call me and he told me he had left messages.
I also queried that my phone showed I had signal at the time my boos tried to call me but there was no missed call shown on my phone. Spusu said that this was because they are a new network and Volte calling was not available on my phone yet, and that 2G signal was unreliable in the UK. I don't believe this is the case for two reasons:
1) Outgoing calls always worked as they should
2) Spusu uses O2s network and when I was with O2 I never had any issues.
I made the decision to switch provider after less than two weeks.

I had a problem with my Samsung S9.
When other people tried to ring me, and I didn't answer it, they would get a msg saying that the number has now changed, meaning that they would think I was uncontactable.
This needed resolving, and if it couldn't, then I would unfortunately have to move to another provider. Luke, (Tech Dept) called me the very next morning (010726 @ 09.00) to address the issue.
He carried out some checks, then explained clearly what he, and I, needed to do, step by step.
At each step, he clarified what would be happening, then summarised the result.
In relatively quick time, he confirmed that the resolution was successful.
I was so, so impressed!
Before Spusu, I was with GiffGaff.
With them, if you have a problem, you're basically on your own - their so call "community" support is an absolute waste of time.
In the end, I gave up with them when I lost my phone service, and despite promises to get it restored quickly, after almost 3 weeks, I was still without a useable phone.
I then read good reviews about Spusu, their costs were the best around, and I read their technology was more advanced than many other providers - I decided to make the change.
The changeover process was straightforward, without any issues.
The switch was bang on time, with minimal outage.
Since then, the service has been great, billing happens automatically and seamlessly, and today's problem resolution shows just how knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and prompt Spusu staff are.
Luke was amazing, one of my best provider experiences I have ever had - thank you Luke!!
My wife moved from Giffgaff to Spusu a few days after me, and now a number of my family are, or are preparing to, join Spusu.
I wish Luke, and Spusu, every success for the future
What a terrible move ! Awful signal!
Move from 02 which the signal was given me some headache. I am a community nurse and use my phone very often for work. Is hard to have signal indoors, if you need to call you have to go outside most time… awful, do not recommend.

Tried Spusu twice. Staff super helpful but service is complete garbage. WiFi calling claims to work on S24 (and it does with Lebara and every other firm I have used) but TWICE I have tried Spusu and TWICE it fails. Incoming calls NEVER received and outgoing calls take minutes to connect or multi attempts and regularly drop out. This is 2 feet away from router. GARBAGE!

Set up contract to move to Spusu for the 1st July. Phoned yesterday to find out where my sim card was. Discovered it had not been sent and they would send one out. Still not arrived so phoned again, after talking to them I decided that if they can't remember to send out a sim card whats the chance of them delivering a good service, so canceled my order

They would rather terminate my contract than reply to emails.
They do not have any accessible support and do not bother to engage.
It took over 10 days to respond to my on-line form and they never bothered to respond to my reply. They just terminated my contract, nothing more. a63-2282883 & 44b-2489113

Terrible company. Frequent outages and they do not compensate. Terrible services. If you rely on mobile data, run away from this company!!

Took time to take me through steps to resolve problem.
I came out of hospital this Saturday 27th of June 2026 after being told that I had incurable cancer in my spine my family was so very upset and yet on Sunday 27th June Spusu Lyons field you could not text you could not phone you could do nothing with your mobile and they did not have the common decency to let their customers know about it and with people in my situation it calls a great deal of anxiety I'm very upsetting for all my family that could not contact me cheapest good I'm just some circumstances and the one a life is endanger it is not I have known gone back to EE

Very impressed with this little provider. Excellent customer service team where you speak to a clear-spoken and knowledgeable human.
Switch process was easy and network coverage (using EE) has been far more reliable and powerful than O2.
And the low cost is saving me over £10 per month for a larger bundle.
Only had this company a couple of weeks Just returned from a week in Dorset where there was no service anywhere Had an important meeting but could not confirm with details with host. I had several voice mail notifications from Spusu but could not dial out to hear. On the way back I tried several times to use but it keeps saying you are off line Even now back at home I have no service. Monday I will change to another company for peace of mind as at 82 I use this for medical needs
Thanks Chippie

I have just changed to this company I can’t fault them. Their customer service is amazing. You can call and someone answers straight away. No pressing 15 numbers first. They are then very helpful with your issue. Had a couple to start with and dealt with really quickly
Julia very sympathetic to my problem and assured me my sim would be on way asap .......very happy thanks julia
I was on a work trip to the UK and took out a package which I was going to keep running as here monthly.
Sadly they pro rata your first month, and I took the deal on the 24th so no data for me after a few days! Even though I'd paid the full month.
Then the customer service agents, not helpful, keep reminding me it was in the terms and conditions.
Dreadful, and I won't be staying.
Highly don't recommend this company.
Go with Voxi or Smarty at least you will get your money's worth!

Absolutely fabulous customer service as always from spusu
Delays / errors in sending me a SIM that works, then once service set up there's been several times a call has not been connected.
When I miss a call, I get a text telling me that a certain number called, but it doesn't say who it is (like other networks do)
Today, I'm at home and I can't make calls as there is no network. I've just had to walk 80m to get a signal, and twice the call cut out.
I e mailed them to ask for help. Day 6 and still no reply.
Cheap, but not a functional service.
Maybe this review will work, I'm spusu eSIM profile ending 3932
Part 2: Spusu replied below and claim to be getting in touch with me. A week now and no contact from them......

Reliable, good service nationwide but HD voice does not work from UK to EU, it is something to improve still. If they do, I’ll change my 4-star to 5-star. Also miss such tariff package that would offer 1000 international minutes from the UK to EU.
I used Spusu due to their EE signal, and as a day to day service it was superb. However, I use 3 numbers including this one and 2 on major providers, and this one struggled to activate on IMessage when I turned off the line and back on again, so much so, I left today. As I knew, something would go wrong, they’ve only handed over half of the data in a transfer, meaning my number port to O2 has ‘happened’ but I can’t receive calls or texts until they fix this which the O2 guy says won’t be probably until the start of next week!!! I’m so so so upset that I have no phone that people can contact me solely due to this company.
