I was on a work trip to the UK and took out a package which I was going to keep running as here monthly.
Sadly they pro rata your first month, and I took the deal on the 24th so no data for me after a few days! Even though I'd paid the full month.
Then the customer service agents, not helpful, keep reminding me it was in the terms and conditions.
Dreadful, and I won't be staying.
Highly don't recommend this company.
Go with Voxi or Smarty at least you will get your money's worth!

Absolutely fabulous customer service as always from spusu
Delays / errors in sending me a SIM that works, then once service set up there's been several times a call has not been connected.
When I miss a call, I get a text telling me that a certain number called, but it doesn't say who it is (like other networks do)
Today, I'm at home and I can't make calls as there is no network. I've just had to walk 80m to get a signal, and twice the call cut out.
I e mailed them to ask for help. Day 6 and still no reply.
Cheap, but not a functional service.
Maybe this review will work, I'm spusu eSIM profile ending 3932
Part 2: Spusu replied below and claim to be getting in touch with me. A week now and no contact from them......

Reliable, good service nationwide but HD voice does not work from UK to EU, it is something to improve still. If they do, I’ll change my 4-star to 5-star. Also miss such tariff package that would offer 1000 international minutes from the UK to EU.
I used Spusu due to their EE signal, and as a day to day service it was superb. However, I use 3 numbers including this one and 2 on major providers, and this one struggled to activate on IMessage when I turned off the line and back on again, so much so, I left today. As I knew, something would go wrong, they’ve only handed over half of the data in a transfer, meaning my number port to O2 has ‘happened’ but I can’t receive calls or texts until they fix this which the O2 guy says won’t be probably until the start of next week!!! I’m so so so upset that I have no phone that people can contact me solely due to this company.

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1 Star – Awful experience customer service Extremely extremely Disappointing
I recently moved two business numbers to Spusu and have regretted the decision almost immediately.
24th June Wednesday
Since the porting process completed, many of my customers have been unable to contact me. Different callers have reported different issues, including “invalid number” messages, calls failing instantly, and calls not connecting at all. As a business owner, this is a serious problem because every missed call can mean a lost customer.
I first reported the issue several days ago and was assured it would be investigated. However, despite multiple follow-ups, the problem remains unresolved. What has been even more disappointing is the customer service experience.
Each time I contacted support, I received different explanations from different advisers. One representative told me the technical team was investigating the issue, while another later claimed they could not even communicate directly with the technical department. The information provided was inconsistent and confusing.
When I asked to speak with a manager regarding the ongoing issue, I was told this was not possible. I also requested proper escalation and clear updates but received neither.
The most frustrating part is the lack of ownership and accountability. Instead of providing solutions, timelines, or meaningful updates, I was repeatedly asked to wait while my business continued to be affected.
The sales process was smooth and friendly when I joined, but once the problems started, the level of support fell far below what I would expect from a telecommunications provider, especially for business customers.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Spusu to businesses that rely on their phone numbers to communicate with customers. Reliable service and competent support are essential, and unfortunately I have experienced neither.

Chris at Spusu was absolutely brilliant. Chris understood the enquiry and dealt with this efficiently and sensitively. Top class customer service.
AH MAY ZING customer service
Especially Carl he was great!!! X
As others have mentioned, I've been getting frequent connectivity issues. I have missed really important calls and my mobile doesn't even ring...I just get sent a text message "missed call". No problems sending texts. There are many occasions where the signal just randomly drops out. It’s not an issue with my mobile phone as this is relatively brand new. Good job I've only signed up for a 30 day rolling contract as due to connectivity issues. I will be cancelling and looking elsewhere.

Not the most helpful these whatsapp staff.
Had an issue with my data disapearing, topped up data this morning and within 5 minutes it had been consumed, I sent a few whatsapp messages and then my data was finished.
Asked whats going on, they cannot assist me. awful, might as well jump onto O2

I talked to Chris: amazing manners, very knowledgeable person. Well done SPUSU for getting such a gem onboard. A kind of a compensation for failing 2g network across the UK.
These guys are absolute stars, from wondering why I couldn’t use the EU roaming in Monaco-they explained it’s not in the EU! Which is fine by me, to transferring eSIM to a new phone, not liking the phone sending it back and month later getting a different phone and reminding me how to do the transfer again absolute spot-on no fuss, polite straightforward honest please don’t list on the stock exchange, it might ruin you!
Overall okay experience, email could be a bit quicker, but you can ring them up and speak to a real person relatively quickly, so that’s good.
Phone signal was unfortunately very poor for me, as seems to be the case with the EE network in rural areas. WiFi calling & RCS messaging helped get past this, but when out and about, getting no bars to 1 bar of signal just isn't good enough. I understand Spusu cannot control this as it’s EE’s responsibility, but it's something to note if you're thinking of joining them.
Porting my number took 2 weeks, whereas other providers can usually port next-day, so that might be a deal-breaker for some, but no issues with the port-in process.
It's worth a try, and I may come back in the future once the coverage in my area improves.
The best customer service I have ever known, especially in this day of AI answering machines etc.... straight through to a human and enquiry dealt with quickly.
Good network coverage and easy account managemen.
Get on them !
Customer service are very uneducated. Just got off a phone to a female worker with a british accent, speaking very eloquently but lacking basic intelligence. I explained i have an Esim from Spusu, and that the Esim cannot receive 'codes' only my actual phone number to which the Esim is inserted on can receive a code. She kept saying 'as i have said before' holding herself to be arrogant and snobby. Horrible service to say the least. She was not able to listen to me or learn something new, and insisted that the code would arrive which it never did. I emailed customer service to assist me. Absolute useless woman representing the company.

Sadly the opposite of the good reviews. Terrible experience.
They said esim in minutes.............3days later!!!!
So 1p mobile did it very quickly.
Happy Spusu blamed me and Their txt content was ambivalent and at times patronising. I.e we hope you had a pleasant day when patently that hadn't' happened.
I would advise particularly older people to avoid if they are not up to technology levels Spusu
are.

Constant connectivity issues. I can dial the Spusu number and get a “this person is not available” and then instantly receive a text saying I’ve missed a call. A normal text will go through fine also. This is when I have 3/5 bars of signal. Then when dialling a non spusu number I was getting a voice prompt saying the number had been changed (it hadn’t!). Then there are also occasions where the signal just randomly drops out, not sure why as they use EE and my main phone is with EE and I have zero issues. It’s not my device either because if I put my EE SIM in, or a friends SIM in (Three), everything works as expected - and if I put the spusu sim in my friends phone or my other phone it’s the same behaviour. They’ve clearly got some back end IT issues. Glad I only signed up for a 30 day rolling. Will be cancelling and going elsewhere.

Awful company avoid at all cost. They refused to respond to my complaint and I had to escalate to the ombudsman, which was ruled on my favour, whci forced them to fix their mistake.

Generally good connectivity but frustratingly they provide lower prices to new customers, which serves as sort of a stealth cost increase over time. Their website is difficult to use - few things are self service except thankfully generating a PAC code. I would have stayed if they were able to match prices they offer to new customers, but I'm off to a competitor who gave me the same connectivity for cheaper!
Been with Spusu for over a year now. Very good signal (EE), great to have roaming included, excellent customer service on the rare occasion I've needed it (real person answers quickly). Excellent value for money. One slight issue is that WiFi calling can toggle off occasionally and has to be manually switched back on (on an iPhone), but apparently this is a known issue and hopefully a solution will be forthcoming.
