I ordered a bike on August 2021 that happened not to work. They suggested I repaired it with their help, after 4 months of trying to get it work I decided to sent it back. After many mails unanswered asking for the courier they say they would paid if there was a problem with the bike, i decided to ring them and only after this phone call they sent a courier to pick it up ( and they payed for it!!)
The bike arrived undamaged in January 2022 and again after a few mails they said that the refund process was ready. Sent them my SWIFT and..... 3 months waiting for the money and no feed back from their side.
Finally on May they mailed that they have financial problems and that they can not refund me. And to wait to the end of their new campaign to get cash and pay me back....
On July the 12th 2022 I got a mail confirming that they were going to send me a spare part for the bike that I don’t have anymore and that of course I haven’t ordered.
And to my surprise after I checked trust pilot I see that they have deleted my review.... so I wrote it again and I hope this time is not deleted.

So, my experience with this people
: no proper spare pieces sent, no feed back, no refund...

I am extremly happy with my City Bike. I've bought the upgrade package for the bike and it's riding exellent. The only problem I have had is a very long delivery with external shipping issues, supply shortages, and delays with answers from the company (I'm still waiting for my carrier), optimal deliveries have not been going very smooth. But hopefully this will improve.

I ride my city bike for almost a year and I love it. It is easy and sporty. It looks great and i can even ride it easily without any support. The service is as good as possible. When i have a little problem i get prompt respond and support where possible. I am happy. And i get many nice comments!

I bought my Strøm City three years ago and it has been working perfect since day one. I use it to commute 30 km to work and it never fails. It is stable, well balanced and good looking. When I have any question they always try to be helpful and sort out my problems, regardless of type.

I am very happy with my City Bike W. I've upgraded the bike and it's riding fantastic. The only problem I have is due to a period with external shipping issues, supply shortages, and delays with the company (I'm still waiting for my front carrier), optimal deliveries have not been going very smooth. But those are mostly external issues.

I backed the City W ebike on Indiegogo and am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. Delivery was delayed a few months due to the pandemic, but what wasn't?! This ebike is beautiful, high quality, fun to ride, had no mechanical or electronic problems, and is just an amazing value at the price I paid. I am still waiting for a front carrier, but that's a change I made after purchase, and I appreciate that they need to respond to higher-priority needs first -- after all, I have a working ebike, I'm just waiting for an accessory.

I have always found the Stroem team to be responsive to questions.

Light bike, better designed than others.

Purchased my bike during the pandemic. Took a couple of months to receive, understandable and mitigated by this being made clear at the time of order.
I’ve purchased extras since, a rear carrier, throttle etc. Perfect for what I bought it for. Great battery mileage and smooth quiet operation.
All good.

I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I bought this bike nearly two years ago as the pandemic was raging and I did not want to take public transport. I just ordered a bike from their website. I felt it was stylish and for the price I could not go wrong. I knew this was a startup so there could be some hiccups. I have had it for two years now with no issues and I ride a total of 45 km a day.... even in the winter. The battery does not fare well in the cold as all batteries and so I do not recommend riding in severe winter. I do wish they think of some sort of insulation for cold countries (I think Mate bikes have a little coat). After almost two years my battery started misbehaving and dying after a few kilometers and I thought it is expected for the amount of riding I do. I wrote to them asking if I should buy a new one and if they offer me a discount. But since my purchase was a little less than two years they replaced my battery free of charge. I am very pleased. For the price I paid for this bike.. the public transport in Denmark would have cost at least double. I love my bike and for the price I paid, it has been awesome. It was hard to get a hold of some one when I first ordered two years ago, but now it seems their customer service has improved tremendously.
My recommendation to them would be .. Put up the price.. get help with customer service so it keeps improving.... and make the bike more cold weather friendly.

Like any other start up there were some issues with my beautiful Strøm bike. Honestly they handled my issues elegantly. Thanks for the support stromers, keep on riding!

I have the US Womens City bike. It is great. Everything works as expected, I think. I had the hub coaster brake removed and added my own rear caliper brake instead because a hub brake is not for me. I've checked many times, and I can't find any comparable electric bike for less than DOUBLE the price.
I'm going to order the hydraulic suspension forks because the roads in London are a nightmare for cyclists.
A lot of people seem to be complaining about Strom. I think they misunderstand. It's not the Strom model which is problematic, it's the Indiegogo model which is. Instead of a Bank or Venture Capitalist funding the operation and Strom offering finished goods to you, YOU fund the operation and sit through the whole development and production cycle.
Guess what? As a result you get your product at HALF the normal price. Guess what again? You are now part of a business process, you are not just a dumb consumer walking into a bike store, so you will have to endure some of the travails that all other business investors have to go through. You can't have your cake and eat it. Either pay double and go to a shop. Or pay half and go thru the Indiegogo process. Please try take a 180 degree view of the processes you are entering into.

We love our STRØM bikes! All little problems were prefectly solved by the friendly online and video support! It is no problem to have no representative nearby!

I had a problem with my battery, it wouldn’t pop up. I took a lot of time and work to figure out what was the problem, but finally they succeeded and we were all full of joy, because it has been a general problem with some womans bikes. I got a nice cup of coffee while wating. Strøm bikes really did everything they could to solve the problem.

I simply love my Strom City W. I had not ridden for 36 years, and was worried that my legs did not have the strength for cycling again. This bike takes all the pain away and leaves pure enjoyment. I have this big grin on my face as I cycle along. It has opened up a whole new world of freedom for me.

Alex was really supportive to solve some issues. I am really enjoying the bike now.

Lovely bike, a few delays but Worth the wait.

I like my bike and support gets better and better. I think Stroem is much more than a Start-up company now.

I loooove my new strøm bike! Had to Wait longer than i expected, but im thinking that the whole corona situation has had a Great impact on the delivery time. Personally i Think i was worth the wait

After some wait due to covid, I finally got my bike last year. Just reached 5000 km, and it rides like a charm. The support I received was fast and the strøm team seem to be good people.

I get many compliments while riding the bike and love the integrated lights and being able to take of the battery for charging. Fully recommended and hope the new carrier will finish soon 🙏

Our Bike was in the last container reaching europe. So, like many others, we waited more than a year to get the City W. The circumstances of the pandemie effected us all, nobody's fault.

The bike is worth waiting for! Runs smooth, looks beautiful, getting compliments wherever you are.
We did some tours over 50km, the (go further) akku was still more than half full.
We contacted the STRØM support a few times to solve little problems or to answer some questions. All mails were answered latest within 24hours.
My experience with this bike (City W) and the support team is absolutely positiv.
