Surfshark vpn seems to work fine in keeping financial accounts safe. Hope stays that way. Been using for at least 6 years maybe by now. For now I see no reason to switching to another vpn.

Subscription renewal not transparent
Using Surfshark is easy with nice app UI and it works well but...
I knew my subscription was due to expire but didn't realise it was set to auto-renew. I haven't seen any emails from Surfshark regarding this.
I now have noticed that I have been charged more than £7/month in advance for 12 months when I know that I could've stopped the auto renew and been offered £1.50/month for 24 months.
This is quite sneaky so I have now stopped the auto-renew and will not be using Surfshark again.

When you first signed up for Surfshark, a special introductory deal was applied, so the initial price you paid was discounted. We offer these deals so users can try the service at a lower cost. If the subscription renews, it continues at the regular price.
You can always check your renewal date and price in the Subscription tab of the web app, where it’s also possible to cancel the subscription in just a few steps. We also send a reminder about the upcoming renewal about a month in advance to give users time to make any changes.

Not always easy to get an NFL game out of Market area
I like the SurfShark VPN and the app is easy to use. However the list of connections in the USA give the city location for the connection but does not include the state. I’m not always familiar with the city and some city names are used in other states. Today a tried to get a connection for New Orleans to watch the Saints Football games because the broadcast was not available in my CBS viewing area. Could not find a VPN connection in either the Baltimore area (the team they were playing) or the New Orleans coverage area. Would be nice if VPN’s were available in each of the NFL markets to make it easy to connect when a game is out of your market area. The NFL is going crazy with selling so many broadcast rights that it is getting harder to find a game without having to pay for multiply steaming services. It’s no longer fun to watch when you can’t get a game over regular TV.

It's gone very poor since the last update. I use it for streaming and servers are very hit and miss now. They stop and start all the time! I can't even find the static ones now either. The new one is not easy to use compared to the old one.
