Customer NOT Service

This company's Customer Service practice is disgraceful.

I bought a TeckNet doorbell with x2 receivers from eBay.
1 The Model Number was not available on TeckNet's website.

I emailed TeckNet who asked for all of my personal details, including the purchase details.

2 Waiting more than 24 hours for a response by email during the week and nothing over the weekend

3 TeckNet emailed to say they had opened an account and registered my device

4 Absolute refusal by TeckNet to give me details of the account they had opened in my name or a telephone number by which I would be able to speak to them

Currently, TeckNet has all of my personal details and is refusing to answer my questions.

Fantastic quality, seriously good...

Fantastic quality products at seriously good pricing. For example, the mechanical RGB keyboard I am using costs around a fifth of the price other companies charge and the quality is just as good. I've been using Technet products for 10 years and I've always found them to be great.

I bought a product off Amazon recently…

I bought a product off Amazon recently and found a warranty card which asked me to register it with Tecknet but their website is flagging up in my browser as 'Not Secure'.

That means they must be using HTTP. That's fine for just browsing but if they want people to register then that involves giving information that might be considered sensitive.

It could be potentially phished from a non-secure website. It's probably safe in fairness but a good company would sort that out for the sake of protecting their customers. They are OK aside from that though. Thanks.

These people are not helpful at all. Being I had a 2 year guarantee and they are disputing saying they have not any details of me, I have sent proof but they still keep refusing to help. SO DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY I HAVE WARNED MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Mechanical keyboard

bought a key board of amazon from Tecknet, its an amazing keyboard for its price, wieghted but the only problem i have is that i can her the spring rebound after i hit a phew keys, other than that i have no regrets.

I have a Tecknet doorbell with 2 x…

I have a Tecknet doorbell with 2 x internal mains units , I don't know whether it's water or some other fault but after around 6 months the bell press unit started to use up the battery in about 5 days , at 1st I thought the replacement battery that I had put in must have been weak and at fault,even though it was a brand new Duracell so I replaced it but it happened again and again so no we don't use it.
Worse though is that Tecknet do not want to know, they will not replace the bell press so now I have to scrap the whole lot (the 2 mains plug in units work well) so what an environmental waste too...
I even offered to pay Tecknet for the cost of a replacement and they refused,saying they don't sell direct !! their customer service is NON EXISTENT !! do not buy !!.

Excellent response and good tech.

I have a number of products from Tecknet , they have all worked as expected or better, the Door chimes work at a massive distance from the fixed door bell,
I bought a set of headphones last year, they developed a fault, I contacted customer service and a new set of headphones was sent out to me within a week.

So top marks for response time and quality of service.

Terrible experience with customer…

Terrible experience with customer support and what's supposed to be an 18 months warranty. Got a keyboard and mouse set from Amazon. Was fine for a month or so then it started becoming sluggish. So I asked for help and was told 1st. to send a video of the keyboard being sluggish (????). When I explained that it was an impossible task since it was a random defect, I was told that another keyboard was going to be sent. Okay, I thought, this was great customer support. I offered to send the defective keyboard back multiple times but was told not to bother. I get the keyboard (only the keyboard by the way, while I thought I was getting a whole set) and of course it works for a day and then it stops working. Get back in touch with customer support, and they give me some instructions on how to pair it. I follow them, doesn't work (you wonder how it worked in the first place). So then I ask instead for a complete set (keyboard and mouse) and that I can send all the defective products back to them, or, if they don't want that, to refund me. So now, they come back to me asking for all the products back, admitting that the new keyboard issue is that it is not pairing with the receiver and that once they have all the products back, they will issue a refund!!! So what am I left with?? 1 month of wanting to throw the keyboard out of the window and then no keyboard and mouse at all. All they needed to do was to replace (as they should) the whole set, accept my offer to send the defective set back and this would have been finished and settled by now. Stay clear of Tecknet.
