Tecobuy 

I bought a card and reader from Tecobuy. After 3 weeks the reader went faulty (the card is fine).
Tecobuy say they will not allow return or replace the reader is only the card is covered by warranty.

I now have a card with precious photos that I cannot transfer to my PC without having to purchase a new reader AND card that I don’t need.

Rubbish service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered an ipad, and it went missing in the post (never dispatched). Techobuy offered me £10 compensation. I contacted Trading Standards and notified PayPal.

This company takes your money and sends you polite excuses. It goes on for months. They're clearly just trying it on, hoping that you forget or give up pursuing them. I suspect all the good reviews are created by bots.

I ordered a phone from Tecobuy. They were late in acknowledging my order. I then belatedly did some research into them and saw the negative reviews here. I contacted Tecobuy and they told me that they were out of stock and there would be a delay of several weeks with delivery. I asked for a refund which they supplied quickly and without argument.
I'm sorry some people have had bad experiences, but they were fine when I dealt with them. I'll certainly try them again.

Quite good services and products. The prices are very good. I will deffinetely use again.

This was my second order for a Samsung Galaxy A71. Unfortunately, they were unable to fulfill my first order as they ran out of stock but I did get a full refund albeit there was a few weeks delay. Excellent price hence they're out of stock very quickly. So second time lucky and very pleased with my new mobile and the price too.

I ordered a pair of Sony headphones at a very competitive price. They arrived safely and well packaged and were an obviously new item and I am delighted with their performance. The reason for not giving a full 5 stars is the long delivery time when next day or few days delivery has become the norm in recent times. As for other reviewers the delay caused concern however overall I would be happy to order from them again as their prices are so competitive and the longer that usual delivery time can be factored in.

The item never arrived and I only obtained a refund (albeit months later) thanks to PayPal. I have now had to complain to the Information Commissioners Office as, despite their email responses to the contrary, they have still not closed my account or deleted my data.

Price was the lowest on the web, but didn’t realise it would take 3 weeks to deliver. Apart from that all good

I bought a sim free Samsung S20 Fe to replace my wife's aging S7. Delivered on time and safely packaged. Excellent saving on our networks price. Only downside was it took my wife a full day to set the new phone up as initial language was set at Chinese. Thinking of using Tecobuy again to replace my own mobile though price has since risen.

I have ordered previously from HK/China based companies and am fully aware that there is often a fairly long delay on delivery (anything up to 12 weeks based on previous experience) but happy to live with that for the savings that can be offered.

On this occasion I ordered a camera and a lens around a month ago (19th June 2021). The lens was processed and is current in transit and hopefully expect to receive this over the next week or so (albeit the tracking information they provide is useless)

However i have received an email today saying they have had to cancel the camera order as the stock has got ‘damaged’. This is clearly not the case (dare I say blatant lies) as the camera is still happily for sale on their website, but as you can probably guess at a much higher price. I’m guessing it is more of a case that they cannot honour the price it was when I placed the order.

I probably would not be so annoyed if they hadn’t have waited a month to advise if this as it would have given me chance to cancel the order for the lens (I can only assume it was an error on the website with the price). Now I am left with a lens but no camera!!! Poor Poor Poor Tecobuy - be ashamed!!!!

I bought a Garmin watch for like 100gbps less than prices from other websites. other than having to wait for more than 2 weeks and being freaked out about what others have said in the reviews the experience was perfect. package arrived in perfect conditions. i even contacted customer service and they responded in 1 day. someone recommended buying with paypal and buying the insurance as a way to protect the shipment and ny inconvenient. i would buy more from tecobuy if i see a good deal

Order a ring doorbell came in 14 days will package and working fine will use again thank you good service after seeing a lot of bad reviews.

Taken off 2 stars ; 1 star as item was advertised 'in stock' but was not despite still showing in stock all the time between ordering (11th June) up to the retailer telling me they were out of stock and was waiting for stock when I chased delivery (22nd June). As a result the 2-5 day processing time Tecobuy promise was not kept.
Second star knocked off because the item when received - a Sony Camera - was just in a crumpled Sony retail box, only protected by bubble wrap not an outer brown shipping box, the retail box was also unsealed (i.e. someone had opened it since coming from Sony, maybe it was a display model?).
Those were the important negatives.
On the positive, once shipped it arrived quickly, UK duty and VAT had been paid, and most importantly of all, the camera was unused and worked and was about a £200 saving on the lowest price I could get in the uk.
I think buyers need to understand Tecobuy are not UK based (they are in HongKong I think) do not offer UK guarantee (these are 'grey market' imports) and based only on my experience I suspect they do not hold any stocks (or not much). I would guess they buy in from wholesalers when they get your order.
So my advice would be only buy if a VERY BIG saving vs UK price, and only buy a reliable international brand product, and remember if you get a fault I reckon you will have to ship back to Tecobuy in HongKong.

ordered a camera that never turned up and only then checked reviews to discover that tecobuy had done the same to many others. That was over a year ago. I can't understand why they are still allowed to trade.

The whole transaction was smooth and reliable,ordered a iPhone 12 Pro Max 256 GB,was a bit reluctant at first but £350 of the price was so tempting,I was kept informed all the way and it took 16 days from start to receiving it,very pleased,and will definitely use Tecobuy again.

I ordered a camera lens after reading reviews and was anticipating a several week wait for it to arrive. The low price was the deal clincher and I was prepared for the wait.
It arrived far quicker than anticipated, extremely well packaged and the item was exactly as ordered and described.

Very pleased with my purchase. Excellent value for money compared to Amazon. Like other reviewers I mistakenly thought this was a UK company and delivery took longer than I anticipated but worth the wait. There were delivery issues but that was the fault of Hermes. Customer support response was helpful albeit always in the middle of the night (UK time).
