1 Sneaky small print in the breakdown cover's IPID showing the £55.00 premium would pay for just one call out in the year's cover.

You need a person on the phone, not just online
Doing house insurance is a right pain. You can use the online tools with comparison sites etc, but when you dig into their offers, the price invariably goes up and cover may not be what you expected. Having done that, I needed clarity on some issues. Eg is my potential external drain blockage covered. Answer no without the added home emergency part. I needed the helpful guy at AA to chat with to get the right cover. Thanks
