The Flights Fare 

I wished I had read the review here before departing from my £1300+ for a flight to St Lucia from London, operated by BA.

I came across this website in January when searching for a flight to St Lucia from London, I called them and spoke to a woman named Shea! I told her about the deal I had seen and asked her if it was available for the desired dates. I told her I was looking a fare which included the “checked in luggage” not hand carry or cabin luggage! As I am going for 2 weeks. She initially offered me a ticket which did not include checked in luggage. After explaining myself to her again, she said she will check, she then came back to me and said she do the fare with “checked in luggage” which was still working out to be cheaper than if I were to book directly on BA’s website. I said fine and made the full payment. After chasing for a day or so she sent out a booking confirmation / E-ticket generated from their own system. And it showed “cabin” Economy and 1 PC pp included. I called her back to confirm that it was actually the “checked in” luggage, she assured me that it was.

Today, as I was checking in online for my flight which is leaving tomorrow, I was prompted by BA to pay for the checked in luggage, I immediately called BA to see if there was an error on their system, they advised me that “basic cabin” was booked and that I had not booked the “checked in” baggage. I had to pay £280 for check in luggage for me and my husband for our return journey and then contacted the agency, I spoke to a guy called Den, who initially said that only hand luggage of 23KG is booked for such price whereas I told him on my confirmation from them it says something else! After debating for 2 hrs and emailing him the proof from BA for the same extra amount he said he will get the agent to call me! I told him I want a refund of £280 as it’s their fault! I have not been given what I asked for! And the stress they have put me under is on next level! Until now I am waiting for them get back to me!!!

I urge people NOT TO USE THIS AGENCY, as the are crook !! The 5 star feed back is most probably been left by their family and friends !!!

I purchased tickets for Melbourne via Qantas airlines they took the money on the same day. I recieved an email With the booking reference code and that the tickets were Processing. I recieved no further news until I had to call them they said they needed to confirm the seats with the airline and that they would call me the next day. I didn't receive a call so I called them for a follow up and i got told they were still awaiting confirmation for 2 of the 4 seats I booked and that they will call me the next day. 4 Days later no tickets and no news so I had to call and they said my flight is being changed to china airlines and that I need to pay for the seats and they reduced my number of seats from 4 to 1 with no luggage allowed. Emailed them asking what the hell is going on to no reply, tried calling and was ignored. This is a fraud and a way of stealing money from people. Absolute scumbags.Avoid at all costs

2 weeks of me begging to get my refund and many,many, phone calls ,emails,lies about they've refunded it which they hadn't.They threatened me not to refund it until I remove my review,not only this a women called Jennifer phoned me and harassed me several times about why did I put up the review,which all I said is true facts, she aggressively told me to remove the review or I will not be getting my money back.I've reported them to my bank,and I am reporting this scam agency to the trading standards now.
AVOID AT ANY COST,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!.I wouldn't even rate this a single star of that was an option

Booked tickets online ( U.K. to India via Qatar airways and got an email with booking reference and asking to wait for confirmation of tickets. Called them the next day chasing up the tickets and was informed they are waiting for confirmation from airlines and said will get back to me on the next day. After not seeing any further reply, contacted the agent again after a day, to understand that the tickets were confirmed however without any baggage allowance and asking to pay more than 300£ extra for baggage.
Such a scam! Please don’t book with these agents.

Booked BA flights to Bangkok and paid for them. Received a booking reference and they took the money. 2 days later they emailed me to say it didn't include baggage. This would be £198.00 more. I agreed, but then they said it would have to be a different flight! So bad, poor communication and asked for a refund. Don't bother...

This is a scam! They take your money and phone you a day later saying the fare they quoted is unavailable. They then say would you be prepared to fly to a different destination....I mean what the hell, I book a flight to Barcelona but get asked would you be prepared to fly to Poland??? Avoid!!!!

I recently got my flights booked with Flights fare and Eric helped me in not only getting the best option but also within my budget. I ended up saving much more than I expected. His knowledge and patience throughout is commendable. I would highly recommend him for your further bookings.

Do not trust this SCAM of a company they advertise flights and then inflate them
My flights to Australia in January 2024 were cancelled by the airline due to adverse weather conditions and monies in excess of £4,000.00 were refunded to Flightfare I am now trying to get my money back, my email requests to Stella and Charlie are completely ignored and they don't answer the phone. After reading other reviews I now know I have been scammed and will be taking this action further.

Not great as after booking tickets realised it would have been cheaper and more choice of flights to go direct to the Airline I tried to get a refund in order to go direct and get more convenient flights but was told once Credit card details given there is no refund option. But did get the E-tickets sent through as promised.

Booked online said flight was available and paid but then they said not available and offered me double the price for the same flight. Gave refund. Waste of my precious time and missed other cheaper flight opportunities.

Thanks to The Flight Fare Ltd for arranging my tickets to Sydney from London Heathrow. Especially, Den who went every beyond possible way to make sure with my flight reservations and ticket were available in time. Also, for checking with my luggage and seating. Den, took responsibility and made sure that he would not disappoint his customer. I have never had such an exclusive customer service ever before from any of the travel agents. Thank you Den for all your help. I would definitely recommend others to use The flight fare Ltd and especially ask for Den if you contact this travel agency. He will not let his customer down. In future before booking any other flights, I will first make a contact to Den. Thank you once again.

Second Update:
The company says they have a "low price guarantee." I contacted them to ask if I was entitled to a partial refund because I paid them more than the tickets they sent me cost to buy directly from the carrier. The rep said the low price guarantee isn't valid once tickets have been purchased. I told him:

"It seems that what your company does is advertise fares they are unlikely to get, then procure tickets that cost less than the customer paid, pocketing the difference yourselves. That seems terribly dishonest."

After that, the customer service rep discontinued the conversation.

Update (three hours after posting the original one-star review):

Working with this company was traumatic for me (as detailed in the original review). They have a tendency to try to keep customers by giving false timelines. It was a week since I first give my payment details when I posted the review. Within an hour, they called and got tickets issued quickly. They did not give me the tickets we agreed on after they told me I couldn't have the ones I originally requested (and paid for). They gave me a more attractive itinerary, which I appreciate even though the tickets cost less than I originally paid the company.

Reacting to negative reviews seems like a priority for this business. If you find yourself here reading these because you are having difficulty with the business, writing such a review seems to get results.

Sadly, in the end it cost me £258 more to use this provider than it would have been to buy the tickets directly from the carrier. I effectively paid to get the run-around for a week.

This company appears to have some good reviews, but from my experience is they engage in dishonest practices. They advertised a fare they could not get. After taking payment, they promised tickets within 24 to 48 hours. After 48 hours, I contacted them and they told me they couldn’t get the non-stop flights, but I could have a one-stop flights “at the same cost.” That cost they advertised for the non-stop is the fare for the new itinerary if I purchased them directly through the carrier. This makes it seem like they never planned to issue the more attractive itinerary as the cost matches the less attractive fare I could get more reliably elsewhere.

Once I agreed to the change they said since they’d already taken payment, the tickets would be issued within 24 hours. I contacted them every day for three days. Each time they told me the tickets were either “confirmed” or “issued.” When I asked for a refund, they ignored that. Instead, I was given a timeframe for issuing tickets they did not honour.

Finally, it is worrisome they require payment before trying to book the tickets. I did not realize that before giving my card information or I would have been more cautious as that behaviour is often associated with fraud. In my opinion, using this company is likely to be a frustrating and non-productive exercise. I am disappointed in the fare comparison websites that include fares this company advertises.

I booked a flight with flightfare for myself and daughter to Kenya. Whilst in Kenya, I got sick to the point of going to hospital and banned to travel by a doctor, Since I got sick a week to return to the U.K. I begun calling the company to change the date for travel for me when the doctor cleared me to fly out, and Jacob who was the initial person who helped us, was horrible and told me never to call him again after several times of calling and asking for him in order to help me out together with my daughter ,and in the end he hanged the phone on me and told me 'don't call me again, are you hearing me, he asked? and hanged the phone on me...

I wrote a complain letter as guided by one of his other colleague by the name of Martin, and never heard from the company and in the end we had to purchase another ticket to return to the U.K
Very horrible reception. I have spent hours and hours on the phone after I resumed to the U.K to resolve the matter and up to now the company has done nothing to the point I've decided to go the legal way...

Not one star. Book Flight to Dubai in February on Net. After 25mit She Ring me Saying Luggage Not included. Paid Ext 85£. More Than any other Web site. With Emirates all way 23kg free. i Flay with Emirates More than 15 years. NO ETicket 5 Days Ring Every day

Always brilliant service from The Flights Fare Online team. They make it so easy to plan a trip and are very responsive to any queries. Could not recommend them more highly. Den was very helpful and informative about all details of our trip.

Made a booking, fine. Said its under process, fine. Called and they said this fare is not available, fine. But how can they potentially 'propose' to sell an international flight without luggage? How? With luggage apparently it was a £1000 more.

I booked flights with them for a London to Tokyo roundtrip on Japan Airlines after following a link on a fare comparison website called jetcost.co.uk.

After making the payment I got an email with the flight details, saying that the booking was under process and that I would be sent an e-ticket once it was confirmed. I noticed that the itinerary in the email was incorrect. The date and time of arrival at the destination did not correspond to the date and time of departure. It seemed like they had mixed up their time zones. Even the date for the return journey was incorrect.

When I called them up regarding this, they were quite rude and did not offer any explanation to any of the indescrepencies. By this time I was beginning to get really worried and fearing that I might lose the money I had paid, I just asked them to go ahead and issue me the tickets (hoping that the discrepancies would be sorted out in the final ticket). At this point they decided to drop another bombshell saying that my fare did not include any luggage and that it would cost me another £600 per person for adding check-in luggage (I later found that JAL do not issue tickets without check-in luggage included). They said the only option would be to book flights with multiple stoppages instead of direct.

As neither of the options sounded reasonable and there were a lot of alarm bells ringing by this time, I asked them to cancel my booking and issue me a full refund. They said they would deduct £120 per person and refund only the balance, although no tickets had been issued. I agreed to that as I was afraid that otherwise I would lose my entire money.

In conclusion their modus operandi is to advertise false fares and tie in the customer. Once they had their money they then try to sell them alternative flights (which are available at a much lower cost elsewhere). And if the customer does not agree and want to withdraw, then deduct a large proportion of the amount paid as 'cancellation fee'.

Stay clear away from them. They are a bunch of scamsters!!!!
