Only give it one star because there's no 'half star'. I failed to renew my wife's account on time and after correcting the matter was charged $20 for the reinstatement - fair enough I guess. Howev... See more

Another poor sucker who iiNet shafted
Another poor sucker who iiNet shafted onto this mob!
What an absolute joke, slow, crappy and almost no features to speak off.
They do want to up their revenue with increased storage capacity but no user friendly way of clearing out old emails.
This is the worst organization ever I…
This is the worst organization ever I am so angry about being dumped on this absolute excuse for an email company. I am definitely going to dump my internet provider and go with a reputable company who doesn't charge for emails I was with Westnet who were a great company they sold out to iinet and from there things have gone downhill. They block legitimate emails, junk other important emails and let through so much scam it is mind blowing. trying to get any help is a joke and we are paying for this.
This is THE worst bunch of corporate…
This is THE worst bunch of corporate bandits I have ever encountered.
Could everybody PLEASE lodge a complaint with the Telecom Ombudsman.
They need to be put out of business.
This company is a scam
As previous complaints have noted … this company is a scam. Having been moved to them from iinet they constantly extort you for more money by claiming your “quota” is exceeded, but give you no tools to manage your emails or proof of storage. PLEASE lodge a complaint with QLD Fair trading if you have a bad experience. This is a QLD registered company.
PAINFULLY BAD - I feel sorry for the "employees"
Absolute sh** show. I've been chasing customer service as email was switched over from Iinet for my mother - just paying for an email in 2024 is laughable, but the fact that the forced switch still results in no emails, AND no one is helping. Honestly, this place will rot and be out of business soon and NO ONE will be surprised. What a waste of time for all involved.
I moved from ozemail
I moved from ozemail to iinet and then to this mob. I have lost all my early emails including ones from my late daughter and, not only that, I keep getting told I am at 94% capacity and need to upgrade. An awful company that shouldn't be in business.
We got moved to this shower of clowns…
We got moved to this shower of clowns by Internode where we had 5 free emails, I paid the $30 dollars for my account, I assumed that included all emails, however 2 weeks ago my wife received a demand for $30 i thought it was spam so ignored it. next her email was suspended I called but the phone number they had been past by internode was not the right one.
I explained we now where in The UK and the phone number had changed so they sent a email to my address which I filled in.
I called again from UK this evening and the support wanted to send me the same email I filled in 3 days ago.
there fav expression is it is a bad line and they do not understand, the second last support I spoke to had chickens in the background I thought I had called McDonalds...lol maybe should have and had better support.
I asked how long it takes to change a phone number reply we are working on it, wonder if they had to do something difficult maybe would be next yr
Do not use
Do not use. I was switched to TMC from iinet. I had all my emails on the webserver. When it swapped from the iinet webpage to TMC - they lost 95% of my inbox. Total disaster.
Sent multiple emails, called multiple times (assuming they answered the phone) - put on hold for ages waiting, but they still couldn't help. I would never use them again, and would never use iinet again who were willing to walk away from long-term customers.
Should not be in business ~ Use gmail
I paid $30 and was then locked out of my business email account ~ 4 weeks now. Been with TPG for years and they dumped me onto these clowns. To access my mail I need a one time code to my phone from a robot called Tim that doesn't arrive. There is a phone number but nobody to answer it. I have lost $1000's in lost orders and customers. I wish there was negative stars, one is not nearly low enough
I didn’t even want to give it 1 star
I didn’t even want to give it 1 star. I paid upfront for a 12 month subscription but they have disconnected my iinet email address. It is impossible to connect in any way or form with this sham of a company. Iinet should never have transferred their email customers to this non existent service S Seppelt
Payment not acknowledged
I am also a former IINet email customer. Today I received an email from the Messaging Co that I had not paid my account and would be suspended. I paid the account and was sent a Tax Invoice and receipt from them for the yearly amount in August. I have since sent them a copy of this documentation. This is not good enough. Waiting for them to acknowledge me.
My 90 yo mother is beside herself.
My 90 yo mother had a great ISP for fifteen years then they sell their email side to this crowd. Things still worked so why would I be concerned. Now she is receiving threatening emails that if she doesnt pay $10 she will be suspended and eventually her account deleted. She has tried to pay this but it isn't working. All this before she told me. Her service is still active so the cut-off dead lines have passed so they are just threatening an old lady but apparently if is not paid in two months her account will be deleted. Disgraceful. Mum is so stressed. so I review this company and omg. They are terrible!
I'm so annoyed with iinet moving us all…
I'm so annoyed with iinet moving us all over to this useless company
A lot of people have had their emails suspended today.!
You can't get to talk to a person, I sat on the phone for 40 minutes only for their voice person to say nobody is available to help you goodbye !!
I'm so angry!
Getting myself a Gmail account for now until I transfer phone and internet to another provider..
Good luck everyone, you're going to need it.
The Messaging Company THE WORST company
The Messaging Company, who we were forced to use by iiNet, is the worst and most hopeless telecommunications company and should be stopped from taking peoples money!! Emails can't be sent. Continual requests to change password even though the password
you are using is correct! Then they send you a code to supposedly help get into your account but they don't work!! The government should de register this company!
Useless
Useless! Cant get in touch with anyone, their website is hopeless. I’ll also be ditching iinet for linking me up with these morons
If you have a choice do NOT use…
If you have a choice do NOT use messaging co.
The name on our account is incorrect - I have given them screenshots of the correct name and they will not change without me running around getting certified copies of documents of the person whose name it’s in. I have asked them to go back to the company that gave them the incorrect info and they will not do - it’s not their problem. When they reply to me they address me with the name that is incorrect - incompetent and rude.
I would say 0 if I could
I would say 0 if I could. I have lost all the emails is my inbox and now my email is not working on my Mac or the iphone and they just keep sending me emails and telling me to be patient. I have lost all patience. No one is doing anything to fix the problem. Has anyone who was moved to this company by iinet changed to another email provider? How did you do that?
I have had endless issues with this…
I have had endless issues with this email company, important sensitive business information is lost from Folders in my Inbox, most of my emails have gone, my emails were being forwarded to another email address,(not mine), I have tried endlessly to get one of my email addresses to function (according to their instructions) without success, and with assurances from them a Support person would look into my case. These problems started as soon as I paid for the annual service in August. I have not had worse service from any other email provider and have informed them I am taking this complaint to the Telecommunications Minister for not providing a service I am paying for. If the service doesnt improve really I dont recommend them at all
The Messaging Company
The Messaging Company - Since IINET and other ISP's dumped their email product and allowed The Messaging Company to take their addresses, the scammers started. Yesterday multiple emails were sent from a valid IINET email address asking for Apple Gift Cards to be purchased etc. As this email account had just had a new secure password set, only The Messaging Company had access to it.
As many have said
As many have said, if there was a minus number I'd select it. Terrible customer service. Talking with bots is not sufficient to handle complex problems. Many tech problems and very slow to get any assistance of any sort. Beware.
